The writing was really hard to follow because of the grammar and sentence structure. Almost read as though it was written by someone whose first language wasn’t English. I was intrigued by the concept but it was taking too long to get into the story and the writing made it even harder to grasp me.

Two boys are transported from Earth to another world where magic is real and two different groups of wizards are fighting. Both groups are interested in the humans and the horns they discovered right before being hurtled into this strange world. But who to trust? And does this have anything to do with their father who himself mysteriously disappeared two months ago?

Targeted for middle grade school kids, I think if they enjoy magic and adventure they will be thrilled with this exciting book. I think older kids and adults might find it a bit simple.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in return for an honest opinion.

The book is a fantasy nove with a major emphasis on magic. And adventure. It is where the boys will find truths about themselves and their father that they would have never thought of. I loved the magic of the novel. It definitely took me to a different world!
