The Devil to Pay is the complicated story of college/graduate students and old friends during the Vietnam Era.

This book is full of the stresses of student life, love, difficult life circumstances and fighting for what you truly believe in. Though complex with many sidelines, this presented life and actions during a tumultuous time in American history that shows that people can get over difficult situations, fight their own demons and finally stand up for what they truly believe.

Well written historical fiction. The plot was so interesting and kept me turning the pages.
