Thank you to Net Galley for an arc of this book.
Firstly i have to admit that i love Christmas stories and movies they are a guilty pleasure of mine and this book was such fun I really enjoyed it.
Bee the FH is a plus size pornstar who would love to fulfill her dream of acting in mainstream movies. She is a great character who enjoys her work and is happy in herself. When her boss tries to diversify into making Christmas movies, Bee is cast as the lead in Duke the Halls.
Her costar Nolan Shaw is a disgraced former member of boy band INK. He has been known to find himself in a few compromising positions in the past. He has a big heart but with no royalties left he has a family to look after and bills mounting up, this is his chance at a comeback. Unknown to Either of them they both have fantasies about the other so expect their meet cute to be fun and hot. As they try to ignore the attraction between them and the risk of being found out will the quirky porn productions crew and the little Christmas town magic lead to a HEA for these two?

I just adore this book! I loved Bee, her mom's and her friends. I loved Nolan, his family and his band mates. This book is body positive, sex positive, sex worker positive...all the positives! It is hilarious, heart warming and just a little bit spicy!

What a brilliant, uplifting romcom of joy this book is! In equal parts sizzling and sparkly, I loved Bee and Nolan and the whole crew of Duke the Halls. I loved Bee, I loved how body positive it was, but that it wasn’t necessarily centre stage, but just one aspect of Bee and Nolan’s messy lives, the things standing in the way of them being together and finding professional success. A delight from start to finish, I would recommend it to anyone who loves Christmas films, but be warned - this book has a LOT of sizzle.

I don't think the blurb does justice to this- it is steamier than your average rom com and definitely has more laugh out loud moments as well!
The more unusual backdrop of porn film actors and workers turning up in a wholesome Christmas film set and causing all manner of chaos certainly lend a new twist to the traditional trope!
a really great read!

I was expecting a cosy, cute festive romance but got something far racier than the (adorable) cover art would suggest. I wouldn’t say I’m at all prudish, but this was A Lot. While I appreciated the sex positive, body positive, and sex work positive messaging, I found it kind of weird that at no point was the whole Having Sex With A Co-worker While At Work thing addressed. Overall, mostly a fun read (albeit with some phrasing during sex scenes that made me cringe) but some stuff that didn’t sit right with me.

4.5 stars
This book has a premise which has you hooked. Nolan is an ex boy band member. Bee Hobbes is on closed doors (Only fans). They are cast in a movie together. What could go wrong…
This is a classic spicy romcom that has heart and Christmas feels. There are some deep topics discussed in the book, fat shaming, slut shaming and some dialogue about the media and how they view sex workers.
If that’s what your looking for this Christmas pick this up.

This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher for the copy.
This cover and title got me intrigued… and I loved this!

Its cute, funny, spicy christmas-y - what more could you want?!
Bee and Nolan are the lead actors in a Christmas movie, they both desperately need this to work out well for them, and theyre both hiding secrets which could blow up majorly if they get discovered. The rules for both of them are clear - don’t date anyone on set, so what happens when there is instant chemistry between the two of them?
The dirty talk in this is impeccable 🥵
I found it really refreshing that Nolan was very honest about his feelings and didnt spend forever pretending that they didn't exist
Im very jealous that Bee got to live out most teens fantasy's of dating her celebrity crush
I really liked that both of the MCs are bi,, I’ve been wanting to read more books with bi rep in it so it was a lovely surprise for me to discover this whilst reading
Thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollins UK for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.
The characters in this story were varied, a fat heroine, two lesbian moms, a bisexual hero, a bi-polar parent and a Jewish side character. Making this a story that kept me hooked.
Both Bee, who is also known as Bianca Von Honey and Nolan, who used to be a boy-band heartthrob unite to film a Hallmark-esque film.
Both have their own reasons for agreeing to sign on for Duke the Halls, but they didn’t expect to find love.
I highly recommend this book.

If you're looking for a steamy fun-filled festive frolic of a book, look no further. A Merry Little Meet-Cute is a gorgeous little escape, filled with plenty of smut and lashings of romance.
Bee Hobbes aka Bianca von Honey, is co-starring in her first family friendly film. Her career so far has been far more x-rated. So it's important that her identity remains a secret.
Her co-star is Nolan Shaw, ex boy-band bad boy who is also trying to make a fresh start.
Both have had major crushes on one another for years. So when they meet in person, the sparks fly. Their chemistry is off the charts. But theirs is a love story that has to remain hidden. And when the truth about Bee and director Teddy is revealed, it seems that everything is lost.
But Nolan soon realises that some things are worth fighting for, and he isn't giving up on Bee. And he's prepared to tell the world.
Bee and Nolan gave me all the feels and this is a festive read on steroids for sure. Loved it.

A bit to raunchy for me but there was a good story line amongst all thr explicit sexual activities.. The characters were likeable and there was a great conclusion.

I very much enjoyed this book! It was right up my alley and it is a perfect cosy winter read!
I liked all the characters as they all brought something to the story, and even though there is quite a few, I found that I didn’t get lost remembering what character is who and what they do.
This book is dual pov (2 points of view) one being Bee and the other Nolan and each one showed their side of the story which I think having both characters show their side was a great idea!
The cover is cute but don’t let it fool you - this book is spicy! I thought the spicy scenes were done really well.
This book is very body positive which I loved and it also shows a personal side to adult entertainment which I rarely see in books and it shows you can be who you want to be, and do the job you enjoy!
I loved seeing Bee’s and Nolan relationship develop, especially knowing that Nolan knows Bee’s secret and she doesn’t know he knows!
Overall I really enjoyed this book and if there is another book written by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone together I will be running to pick it up! I am giving A Merry Little Meet Cute 5 stars!
The only note I have that bothered me was the Polish surname as it is spelled wrong every time, it is supposed to have a y, the correct spelling it KowalczYk. Source: I am Polish.

A triple S comes out for this steamy story… sexy, salacious and saucy.
Following two characters, one a pop star, one a porn star; sounds rather controversial when you realise they both want to make it big in the filming industry, and when they end up working on this film together it sounds like a recipe for disaster and I LOVED it.
A porn star wanting to slide away from her roots to become a proper actress in film finally gets a leading role for a kids tv channel, while a pop star with a rocky sexual past is trying to claim the role of innocence while he stars alongside her… plot twist, this pop star watches THAT porn star (a very avid follower as well) and that porn star has a literal shrine of that pop star from when they were younger… what could possibly have gone wrong?
This story was funny, filled with happiness and Christmas joy but with a contrasting energy with themes of mental health, fat phobia and discrimination against sex workers.
It was fun, and it was cutesy to see this swoon-worthy love develop as the movie is filmed. Very sexual (obviously!) but not in a gross way, the language was a little strong in some moments, overall very tasteful and not overly smutty.
100% a great read for the lead up to Christmas/if you want something a little bit different in a romance!

I really love Sierra Simone books so when I seen this cute titled, Christmas rom-com on netgalley I had to give it a read.
Unfortunately "Christmas" was the only accurate part.
For me it lacked depth, and dragged for the most part.
The background characters were annoying and mostly pointless. The main characters lacked any real connection or chemistry. Sure they had sex but that's where it stopped. I liked that fact that a curvy girl was used as a main character but, even that was used to the point of annoyance.
Sadly a disappointing 2 stars from me

Cute! Perfect for a read in one sitting by the fire at Christmas!
Thank you so much to netgalley and the publisher for the early access to this book.

I don't usually go for Christmas themed romance books but this one was something else. Funny and sexy and just the right right amounf of holiday cheer.

This is a perfect, feel-good, cosy up with the fire and Christmas tree lit behind you kind of book. Perfect Christmas read, simple and easy! This is a first for me by the author and one I enjoyed and would read more of their work. The book cover is eye-catching and appealing and would spark my interest if in a bookshop. Thank you very much to the author, publisher and Netgalley for this ARC.
3.5/5.

I struggled to write this review. Did I like the book or didn't I. The answer is probably in the middle. I liked the basic plot and applaud the support of sex workers and any woman who is not stick thin. I found the book very funny in places but it did not deliver for me. I know that rom coms are predictable and frequently a stretch but this one just was not believable whilst being totally predictable. Have thought a lot about this and have decided it tried to be too much, all things to all people and in doing this it lost any credibility.

Thanks to netgalley and publishers for arc of this novel for arc
This is abook that is just like a Hallmark film,it’s cheesy and cute although it’s definitely a little more fruity ( 18+) than most of their films!
The characters were quite easy to read apart from two main characters rest were quite cardboard like,
Easy reading Christmas novel

*****copy from NetGalley in return for an honest review****
Ok so I am deeply conflicted on this one: I liked the premise and some of it was fun. But the hero is awful at times and it doesn’t deliver on the raunch that it is constantly previewing. I've been thinking about this for 24 hours now, trying to pin down why this didn't work for me and I think it's neither the hero nor heroine spends enough time with each other for you to really believe that they are in love with the real person they are rather than the fantasy that they have in their heads of the other. This is infinitely more problematic with Nolan's relationship with Bee - because although he was her teen crush, he has spent several years fantasizing about (and more) her in her adult film alter-ego and at several points in the narrative he is clearly thinking about her more in those terms than anything else. You don't get to see them getting to know each other enough for me to be able to believe that this is a genuine connection - not just something that comes from the fact that he likes the way she looks and has seen her performing. And that sort of goes against everything that Bee is trying to do - she's trying to build a different career and image for herself that is not just her adult film persona. She's not embarrassed or ashamed of her adult work *but* she wants to do more than that and be seen as more than that and I never believed that Nolan did see more than that.
