I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide me review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.
Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.
However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x
There’s something pretty frustrating about the new category romance trend for trilogies, as it means major plot points don’t get wrapped up within the novel and they feel very unfinished. Combined with a lot of unnecessary detail - why do we need to know that the heroine likes to print off instruction manuals rather than reading them online?! - I didn’t feel that this was a good example of the genre. That said, the sexy bits did live up to expectations!
Teagan Is a sound engineer in her family business and Maxton is a musician, Teagan knows that muscians are flighty but still can't help being attracted to him. After doing her best to stay away she finally gives in to temptation.
I really enjoyed how this was a modern day romance with hip hop references and a different style to the usual Mills and Boon, that said I wondered why Teagan didn't run a mile with Maxton's special under the sofa drawer, I felt that it didn't really fit in with the character.
Overall it was a good easy read
I read this ARC for an honest review

A pretty typical Romance by Harlequin. And a good thing it is too
