What a gorgeous, twinkly, Christmas miracle of a book and with a wonderful bookshop included, absolutely fantastic!

Always a delight to read books by this author. This one was just a good as her others. Love that’s is set with Christmas! Lots of romance in the cards too.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.
I loved reading this book.
It was great to be back in Port Karadow, meeting up with new, as well as familiar faces in a beautiful setting.
It was lovely to see the how Ollie and Max’s relationship progressed, and how Thea has has developed both personally and professionally.
The story kept me hooked from start to finish, it’s a heartwarming book that I would highly recommend.

Loves Cressida's books. Ollie move to Port Karadow when she has an accident and her former employer isn't very understanding. She starts works in A New Chapter hoping to bring her skills to the shop. It doesn't all go exactly to plan and then she meets Max.

A perfect Christmas feel good book, lots of sparkles and romance and fantastic characters, Cressida McLaughlin is one of those authors you can depend on to entertain and delight, and The Cornish Cream Tea Bookshop is perfect for yourself and also as a Christmas present for a friend.

I received a free copy of The Cornish Cream Tea Bookshop, by Cressida McLaughlin, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I thought this book was a nice story Ollie starting over in a new town, but I missed the beloved characters from the past books. I was disappointed with the book.

Absolutely beautiful, yet again Cressida McLaughlin weaves her magic, making me feel utterly Christmassy in October. Fabulous well written characters you can’t help but love. I’m yet to read one of her books and not love it. Everything was forgotten while reading this. I even read while standing on a train as I couldn’t put it down.

A real feel good Christmas read. It was a page Turner that I couldn't wait to get back to every time I had to put it down. Will definitely read the other books in this series.

Utterly delightful! A return visit to Cornwall and some very familiar characters, I felt quite at home. The descriptive writing is so evocative, I could quite easily live there.

This was a great story.
Ollie used to work at a swanky bookshop in London, but she needs a change and so moved to Cornwall to move in with her best friend Meredith's grandfather Liam. He gives her free accommodation in return for typing up his life story.
Ollie gets a job at Theas bookshop and along the way gets involved with Max, owner of The Sea Brew Cafe.
I love these books. This is the 13th book in the series and I've read them all. Each one feels like coming home, its warm and familiar.
A great Christmas read.

I absolutely adore the Cornish Cream Tea series and it was so good to be back in Port Karadow for the build up to Christmas.
I've always loved Max as a character so enjoyed finding out more about him and his background.
Ollie was also a fab MC - she had so much time and kindness for those around her - I'm so pleased she found everything she was looking for when she took a chance by starting a new life in Cornwall.
She was the perfect addition to the already amazing group of characters from the previous Port Karadow books.
The fact that this story largely involved the new bookshop was just the cherry on the cake.
Something else I loved about this book was how Ollie and Max got together fairly early on.
There was no will they, won't they - it happened.
And, although I do also like stories where there are a few hurdles before it happens, it made a lovely change for them to be a couple for a majority of the book.

A quick, easy and cute read that I loved. I will definitely be checking out more from this author. A perfect book for the cosy season.

Love this story read quite a few other books in the series a lovely take your mind away from your troubles

This is a gentle Christmas read in the run up to the festive season. There is a nod to the characters from the Cornish Cream Tea bus series, which I really enjoyed, and this book introduces us to some new characters too. I would definitely recommend this book and it is another great addition to the Cornish Cream Tea bookshelf!

This is a must read Christmas book, It has a heart warming story. I love books set in Cornwall and love the descriptions of the little town. I have not read any other of Creddida's books in this series but I definitely will be adding them to my list. I was especially drawn to the book because of the cover as it is eye catching and of course has a bookshop on the cover which had me sold. Thanks to Netgalley & Harper Collins for sending me this arc in exchange for my honest review.

Another enjoyable book from this series. Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for the early review copy in return for an honest review. An entertaining read about the best of all locations - a bookshop!

A must read Christmas book, great characters, beautiful setting and local legends for Ollie to explore. When Ollie leaves her old life behind in London and moves to Port Karadow in a beautifully converted barn owned by Liam she gets a job at A New Chapter bookshop. Bursting with enthusiasm and ideas Ollie throws herself into making Thea’s bookshop a success, but not everything she tries is welcomed by Becky who also works at the bookshop.
I loved how Ollie grew in confidence and when things went wrong Max was always there to offer support. I think the secret was pretty obvious but didn’t spoil the way it unfolded. There’s lots of Christmas magic to enjoy including Ollie’s love of paper chains and her adorable dog. Yes I would recommend this book, a perfect addition to someone’s Christmas stocking.

Yet another lovely heartwarming, feel-good romance in the gorgeous Cornish Cream Tea series. Set in beautiful coastal Cornwall and featuring delightful characters, I loved this one just as much as the previous books in this series. Light-hearted and an absolutely joy to read.
With grateful thanks to NetGalley, HarperCollins UK and Cressida McLaughlin for my copy in exchange for an honest review.

Always lovely to be back in Port Karadow and this was another excellent addition to the series. I absolutely adored Ollie and how enthusiastic she is for her new job, organising events for a new bookshop in Cornwall.
She is like the energizer bunny, she doesn't stop and literally has idea after idea after idea, all of which I loved in theory, although some worked better in practice than others. Especially loved Book Wars!
And then there is Max who I definitely fell for, there is nothing not to love about him, and the whole town seems to agree!
Any story set in a bookshop is a winner with me, and this one mentions many authors I've enjoyed reading, in addition to just being a fabulous story. I enjoyed seeing all of Ollie's ideas, and also loved seeing how the town was preparing for Christmas.
Was great to see familiar faces from elsewhere in the series too, I always love it when that happens, and was especially pleased to be able to catch up with Meredith.
I also loved the that there was a small mystery in the story, about a series of Cornish mystery books that went out of print many years ago, that were based on local legends. I really enjoyed Ollie's discovery of these local legends and trying to find the locations and some rather weird goings on at the same time.
Just all around this is another excellent book from Cressida McLaughlin, who is an author I always thoroughly enjoy.
Thank you to HarperCollins and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

The Cornish Cream Tea Bookshop was a comforting, warm, cup of hot chocolate on a cold day kind of book. I did initially find Ollie irritating but only briefly and then I became immersed in her story.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, although I would have been a little less forgiving of Becky. All in all it was a lovely romance and a good story.
