I have tried several times over the amount of time since getting access to this book. I don't know if it was the way the ARC copy was set up or how it is displaying on my devices. each device that I tried to read this book on showed all of the chapters and paragraphs running together. there was no separation and it made it very difficult for me to follow what was happening. when a scene would change etc. I ultimately did not finish the book.

Not for me at all unfortunately, I just didn’t like it at all, just too much pressure on a woman whose just lost her mum and no space given, found it a bit ick and uncomfortable

Great read, when Charlene sets out to discover what is wrong with her brother it leads to hidden secrets, secrets she may not want to know!

DNF at page 50 or so…

Basically, we get a woman who is heartbroken because her parents freaking died, and anxious because she has a brother to practically raise and care for on her own, and a dude who understandably needs his soulmate, his other missing half, but not-so-understandably tries to convince her in a rather dubious way to fall in his arms.

Honestly, this was grooming at its finest, even if Charlene wasn’t some child. Girl just lost her parents – and her world is sort of crashing all around her. She needs understanding and comfort, not a whole town conspiring to get her into Zack’s bed and life. I can see why her mother wanted out of that life – it’s like a fucking cult in there! (also, Zack, dude, you’re in a funeral home, the lady is mourning her freshly killed parents, do you mind?! ewwww)

I get that this is a shorter book compared to other romantic stories and it needs to move along, but the scenes kept growing more and more tactless. If you want to kickstart a fast-paced, insta-romance, then don’t have it start at a funeral of a very close and beloved relative. Sheesh!

Another part that just couldn’t let me get immersed in the story no matter what was Eliana and her squad. It was bad enough that Charlene’s parents’ death issue was all over the place, I had to also endure the story being cut constantly just to put Eliana’s search scenes – not only was it off-putting, it didn’t make sense. Furthermore, how do you get a universe where people believe in jinnis and what have you, but not werewolves?

All in all, not a very good choice for me – pace, characters, world-building… Nothing seemed to work. Hard pass!

This book gave me whiplash. There is an audience for this, but apparently I am not part of it. I liked the idea of the lore, but honestly this needed to be a full novel for me. I felt like limiting it to a novella kept me from getting the history and the full scope of the community and their lore. There wasn't enough time for relationship development, even for the typical insta-love you find in wolf books. It has huge potential because I was invested in the story and the mysticism of the community; I just wish it were longer so it could have been more in depth.

Sharon Buchbinder's "Kiss Of The Silver Wolf" entices the reader into heightened senses with dramatic scenes of wolf shape-shifters and otherworldly jinni. Buchbinder uses ancient secrets, historical details, and luscious romance to do this. Buchbinder remains among my top 10 writers.
Zack is a steaming hot werewolf who is longing to find his lifelong mate. The Pack can only survive with a new pair of leaders. Too many generations of inbreeding have left men dying younger and younger. Unless Zack starts a new line, their extended family cannot survive.
After enduring significant trauma throughout her life, Charlene discovers she is a werewolf-human hybrid. She doesn't know what to believe because of the secrets and lies that come from her mother's monstrous lie that she is human. This is an extremely unfortunate outcome intended to protect Charlene from the pain of being different.

This is Zach and Charlene story.

After losing both her parents in a car accident she has to look after her brother who has a rare genetic disorder, due to certain circumstances she is forced to move back to her mothers sleepy little town called Eden where everyone is very secretive and it is also the town her mother once warned her about. There she learns that everything she knows about her life if turned upside down.

In this book you will find werewolves and Jinn and even old bible lore. It is filled with a feud, revenge and love.

I enjoyed the characters they were very relatable and the way the Author described the world was outstanding, I found it to be a short and easy read.

I would recommend it to any paranormal romance readers.

Kiss Of The Silver Wolf is the first book in the Kiss Of The Jinni Hunter series by Sharon Buchbinder. I was drawn to the synopsis of this story. What I didn’t expect was a third point of view and a secondary supporting story by a woman named Eliana. The blurb does not state that there is a secondary story, and it threw me. It took me several chapters to get acclimated. I truly enjoyed Zack and Charlene’s romance, and I eventually warmed to Eliana’s plot. However, it felt disjointed initially when Eliana’s story broke into the main plot.

Zack is a werewolf who is lonely for his forever mate. When Charlene is forced back to her mother’s secretive hometown of Eden, Kentucky, Zack assures Charlene she is his mate. There is also an evil being called a Jinni, which is prevalent in both storylines. This antagonist ties everyone together well after I grew accustomed to how the story was written. Although Zack, Charlene, and Eliana never meet, their stories coincide, if somewhat fragmented at times.

I loved the premise of Zack and Charlene’s romance, and I enjoyed the Eden, Kentucky storyline. If this had centered solely on Zack and Charlene’s points of view and the town storyline, or had I been warned of the third point of view, I would have given this book a higher rating. I am intrigued by this book and would like to read more in the series now that I have adjusted to the format of the book. I think I’ll enjoy the second book more, knowing what I do now.

This book was a very quick read and had a decent premise but I don't feel as though it was executed well. There are a couple of different side stories and with how short the book is I don't think the main characters and the overall plot came together well. Especially the romance, I did not think the two characters had any real chemistry together other than instant love but it didn't seem as though they had chemistry. Overall I think this book could have been fleshed out a bit more and gone deeper into one story instead of trying to weave a secondary story into it.

I really enjoyed this Wolf shifter story. After the death of her parents Charlene takes her disabled brother and moves to Eden Kentucky. She soon finds out that it is a strange and mysterious place. There she meets her Grandparents and the man who says she is his mate.

Charlene has lost her parents in a car accident and is now broke and the caregiver of her disabled brother, to make ends meet she moves to her Mother's hometown and meets Zeke who Charlene learns is a werewolf. Zeke knows Charlene is his mate and wants to create a family with her. Hampering that is an evil jinni.
I really tried to get into this story and just couldn't, I struggled to finish the book. I felt like it was poorly written. There was a few areas where the book got a little interesting but not many. The sex scene was not interesting and I didn't feel the chemistry between the main characters. I definitely won't be reading the next book in the series.

Fantasy, sci-fi and magic mixed in with romance and some horror!

Buchbinder has done her homework and we're treated to an intriguing and fast-paced story which I throughly enjoyed.

According to the authorities, both Charlene's parents committed suicide in a car accident. As a result, 24-year old Charlene is left to care for her brother Joey who is special needs. Unfortunately, as the accident was deemed suicide, there is no insurance money for Charlene to dig into to care for her brother.

Circumstance has it that her Aunt Jessie has left her an apple farm in Eden (Kentucky) - a place her mother always told her to stay well clear of. With money running out, Charlene hasn't really got any other option than to head to Eden.

Charlene lands herself a job driving a school bus for special needs children - all very similar to her brother. Work is made rather interesting as she is attracted to the owner of the company, Zach.

As they days go by, Charlene slowly learns about Eden, its people, her own past including the secrets her mother tried to protect her from.

I liked the parallel story featuring Homeland Security Special Agent Eliana Solomon who is a firm believer that there is magic in the world.

Wow!! I was completely captivated from the beginning and couldn't put the book down and was sad I had to say goodbye to my book friends when I got to the end. The author kept me on the edge of my seat through the twists and turns, ups and downs and incredible story.

A new and refreshing tale of werewolves and their mortal enemies the evil Jinn.

Charlene is drawn back to her mother's home town of Eden, KY after the tragic and mysterious death of her parents leaving her to care for her special needs brother. How will she deal with the news that her brother's condition is not what it seems, and the secrets revealed about the town? Will she be able to accept the truth of her mixed heritage and her instant attraction to Zach in this town of secrets upon secrets?

An incredibly enjoyable read that had me hooked from the start.
