This charming small town romance that only this writer can give. It will hold a special place in your heart as a new book boyfriend favorite is born.
Single mom who still believes in forever meets sweet talker baseball legend and woman magnet. He is not the type to settle down until he meets her. Soon he will be change his ways as the two collide.
This standalone story will crave your need for HEA.
A sweet story about a just retired baseball star and a single mom in a small town. This was a pleasant read with a plot that wasn't hard to figure out. I wasn't blown away but neither was I disappointed. Good characters.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I have loved everything I have ever read by Adriana Locke. This book was magnificent. Single Parent tropes seem to be my favorite. It is just so special when a character can find a person to step in amd not only love them but their child too.
Palmer pushed Cole away at first, even though it was perfectly obvious that wouldn't happen for long. They were the perfect fit, amd their relationship was so easy. Palmer's son fit so perfectly into the mix, and Cole's parents were so accepting. The story was heartwarming with an ample amount of heat. I feel blessed to read it early.
I loved reading The Sweet Spot. It is about a single mother, Palmer, and a retired baseball player, Cole. How their relationship develops while they are both at a crossroads in life was a great story. Ethan, Palmer's preteen, isn't lost or forgotten in the book. I laughed out loud while reading and wiped tears to.
The Sweet Spot is a contemporary romance told in first person in dual perspectives. Palmer Clark is a single mom when she meets baseball legend Cole who is new to town. Palmer wants a forever person but Cole is just passing through town and takes things day by day. Cole has just retired from the majors and and has an instant connection with Palmer. They start hanging out and take things from there. This was the first book I have read by Adriana Locke and it was fine. The romance was very sweet and it gave a small town feel. That said I am not really into small towns but this was enjoyable. The cover us gorgeous and thanks for the advance reader copy.
The book was so βsweetβ. The characters were strong and likable, the writing was wonderful. Pretty low angst and an overall great read!
Fun, sweet, and entertaining!
This was such a cute, uplifting story that I thoroughly enjoyed.
The Sweet Spot was sweet and made me smile, with just the right amount of humor and emotion. I loved these two.
A beautifully written heartwarming story with a flawless blend of intoxicating chemistry, witty banter, small town charm, and interfering family members that I canβt wait to read about.
Palmer and Cole are two of the most wonderful characters I've had the pleasure of reading their story!
I've got to read more of Adriana Locke's work, because she absolutely killed it with this one!
Montlake,
Thank you for this approved eARC!.
I loved Cole and Palmer!! I cried and laugh so many times reading their story, an emotional roller coaster!! I love that the story gets you so deep that you can feel the many emotions that are in this story. Adriana Locke is one of my favorite authors and she never disappoints. This is another great book and I'm so happy I got lucky enough to get an early copy. I know everyone will enjoy it once published!
A beautifully written small-town romance between single mum Palmer Clark and retired MLB star, Colson "Cole" Beck.
From the very first meeting, I loved the banter between the two main characters and could almost feel the chemistry, which only developed further as the book progressed. This slightly angsty romance had me smiling throughout with a few tears thrown in for good measure.
A special mention goes to Palmer's son, Ethan, who stole my heart with his maturity and obvious love for his mum.
This book was so incredibly sweet and wholesome and filled with such loveable characters.

I laughed, I swooned, and I cried. I cried like I haven't cried while reading a book in awhile. Loved this. In the acknowledgements Adriana said "I hope you enjoyed this story and walk away smiling and feeling a little lighter." And that I did, with happy tears in my eyes π₯².

I absolutely loved this book! I devoured Cole and Palmerβs story. So much heart and heat with these characters. Adriana Locke did it again drawing us in with relatable well developed characters and making us believe in love!
What a sweet book! Lovely cover and baseball analogy for a title! After that blurb Iβm all in!
What did I like? This sure was a sweet read! Palmer is a single mom with a horrible history of love meets Cole a former baseball player. Sparks fly but Palmerβs resistance to his charms make for a fun story. I read the book in one sitting and was completely charmed.
Would I recommend or buy? Iβd definitely love this stunner on my shelf. This book really has it all with very little angst! Palmer and Cole were a fun couple! Four stars!
I received a complimentary copy to read and voluntarily left this opinion!
Absolutely loved this book! Adriana Locke outdid herself once again. I laughed, cried, and swooned - basically I felt all the emotions. Palmer and Cole had great chemistry and worked so well together. Loved the relationship Palmer had with her son (who was hilarious I might add). Cole was a great hero with such a great backstory and personality. Palmer was such a strong heroine. I couldn't put the book down and when I was done I wanted to read it again.
Small Town single mom romance was very cute. Couldn't put it down!
