A Little Wilder is a fun, sweet and fast read. Mari and Kane are great together and I love the entire Wilder family. This was my first book in the series, and I'm definitely going to have to go back to beginning to get to know the rest of the family. I absolutely love small town romances that have huge, supportive families.
Kane was so sweet, and he genuinely really cared about Mari from the very beginning. I loved how supportive he was of her choices and how often he emphasized the fact that all choices about her pregnancy were just that - her choice.
The pregnancy trope usually isn't my favorite, but it worked well here - especially considering I knew what I was in for when I started this book. Overall, this is a great novel for anyone looking for a quick, wholesome read.
Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for providing me with a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.
This was my first book from Serena Bell and she did not disappoint! From the beginning, this book was so sweet and I thought Kane and the rest of the Wilders were too good to be true, but it was the perfect feel-good book. Since I have never read anything from Serena, the steam was very unexpected but a fantastic surprise none the less, for this romance lover. This book was the perfect mix of love, spice, humour and family - I loved it!
What happens when a one night stand in Vegas, doesn't just happen to "stay in Vegas"?
Kane's amazing one-night stand in Vegas suddenly becomes the gal his brother hires to redesign their glamping RV's for the family business - she's pregnant and it's his. When the story couldn't sound more far fetched, I started gushing over Kane and the whole Wilder family. I'm telling you, if I found myself in Mari's position, I'd want Kane, his incredible siblings and super sweet mother on my side. Every single character is swoon worthy in their own way. I didn't realize this was a series, but now that I know - I will be reading the backlog of books 1-3 and continuing with the Wilder family adventures. Well done, Serena Bell.
This book has ignited a need for all the other Wilder men to be in my life. 🔥
The first quarter of the book was a tad slow, at first I couldn’t get into it and the story felt a little fast, but I stuck with it and it turned out it needed to start as it did to fit such an emotional and beautiful story into it. 😍
I’m a sucker for a story where the characters have definitive arcs, they’re living life a certain way believing that’s the way that it has to be, but they find the opposite, and it’s always heartwarming to read it. 🙌🏼
It seems I swooped into the family with the story of the “boy next door” Kane, I’m excited to go back and read about some of the more grumpy, arrogant brothers - they’re usually my forte. 🤤
The ending for this book was honestly so beautiful, it made me cry, and it was so true and real, honestly portraying the first few days of motherhood. 🤌🏼
I’m excited to read more by Serena, highly recommend this book for anyone who loves a satisfying, chest aching romance with added spice ❤️🌶
Serena Bell never misses. She's always a fun read. I love the Wilder family, their banter and their hijinks. It's like the Brady Brunch turned all the way up, out in the wild. Kane is the sweet brother that no on expects to get into trouble. His "trouble" comes in the form of a one night stand in Vegas with Mari(gold). When she shows up again, he's surprised, and he's even more surprised to find out she's pregnant. Surprise pregnancy can go really terribly in a plot, but this one works because the characters are sweet together from the beginning, You know the Wilders will take care of her.
Also, it's fun to see the whole family together. The best thing about a Wilder novel is that you get lots of side characters. If you want to a fast, steamy, adventure-filled book, this is the one for you.
Thank you NetGalley for the digital ARC of this book.
A Little Wilder is a great addition to the series. The youngest and sweetest Wilder has meet his match. What happens in Vegas usually stays in Vegas unless your Mari and Kane. Their secret is making an appearance in a few short months.
I liked reading their courtship. They were both so sweet and willing to bend to set the others needs.
A one night stand, sort of instant love and unplanned pregnancy, those are the tropes i will use to describe this book, it's funny, simple what you read in the synopsis is what is in the book, and that is okay, highly recommended if any of the tropes is one of your favorites.
I simply adore this fun series by Serena Bell. Wilder Adventures has quickly become one of my guilty pleasures and whenever one of these books releases, I quickly snag it up.
This book is about Kane. He's the responsible brother -- the boy next door. Except for that one night in Vegas when he decided to go a little crazy and have a one-night stand. And that may or may not have led to a baby. As if Kane's crazy attraction for Marigold (Mari) wasn't already enough to make him crazy. Of course, she shows up at his family business for work-related meetings completely unaware that he's there. It's a shock for everyone involved. From there, it really gets interesting. These two are both absolutely adorable. Mari is a free spirit who doesn't believe she can live in one place and Kane has never lived anywhere else. He's sure he'd never want to move away from his family. Can these two opposites make a relationship work and raise their baby together?
As with all of Serena Bell's books, there's a good plot, a fun family, some sweetness and quite a bit of hotness. Everything is mixed into the book in just the right quantities. And as usual, I inhaled this book in the course of just one day.
Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC. I voluntarily chose to read and review it and the opinions contained within are my own.
This is my first book by this author, as well as the first book for me in the series to read. I liked it. It was cute. I loved the family dynamic. I just felt as if that wow swoon factor was missing, and the story felt a little rushed.
High 4 ⭐️
Fun and well done romance that’s part of a series. I think it’s book 3 and I know there’s definitely another after this.
I guess you could say that this was a sort of second chance? I mean they did start something up again. I thought they were super adorable together and this is a very feel good quick read. You know…. The one to pick up after several crappy days in a row and you need some escapism. This is that book. I love a smexy head over heels kinda romance. Don’t take my word for it. Check it out. Would I read another book from this author? Absolutely!

This is the fourth book in the series, and I would highly recommend that you read them in order, as the underlying story of the Wilder family runs through them all.
I am always amazed at how stories which start in Las Vegas pan out – and this one is definitely one of the most entertaining that I have read!
Kane is the Wilder brother who is the good guy, the one who gets taken advantage of, because he is just so good natured – the introduction to him is a perfect example of this. However, one night in Las Vegas, he decided to channel his much freer with love brother and had a fling. Months later he still has not been able to forget her, so when she turns out to be the RV specialist that his brother has just contracted to overhaul their new onsite RVs. What is really unexpected is that she is pregnant... and yes, it his!
Mari is such a fascinating character, suffering from rejection bordering on abuse from her mother as a child, she cannot imagine the life that she discovers when she is included in the Wilder family group. I love how they work hard to be welcoming, but also aware of her becoming overwhelmed. Kane we already know is the good guy, but faced with the woman he could not forget, he is so cautious not to lose her, or their baby. It is impossible not to become invested in the happiness of this new family.
It is really fun watching them fill in the bits which they missed out on with their precipitous start, and most particularly reading about how she plans and achieves her makeovers.
This is such a fun series with lots of variety and I am enjoying seeing the growth of the family as they bring in their loves and make the business even more successful. Looking forward to the next installment!

This is a story I want to tell everyone to read just so they can read the first few scenes. Because firstly, who does that to a pregnant woman? And secondly, who breaks up with a great guy like Kane like that? It was nuts!
Aside from the first few scenes that had me a bit lost of words, this is a really lovely romance. While Mari doesn’t know where the father of her baby, Kane, is or even who he is, at six months pregnant they meet again and it is clear that they were meant to be together and it would only be a matter of time before they realise it too. It was a joy to see their romance and to see a family be created.
The romance is joyful and full of love, there were also a few times when I cried with our couple. One scene in particular I’m sure many mums reading will be able to relate to. I’m tearing up just remembering it.
A LITTLE WILDER was a pleasure to read, and I’d definitely recommend it to romance lovers.

🚐✨ SYNOPSIS ✨🚐
what happened in vegas? definitely didn't stay in vegas. kane wilder is the boy next door. he's dependable, clean cut & always there for the people he loves, but after an uncharacteristically one night stand results in a bun in the oven of particularly flighty woman his brother just hired to redesign his fancy new glamping RVs.

Let me start this off by saying I love the pregnancy & secret baby tropes. If you don’t, this book probably isn’t for you. I was alittle worried going into this because I haven’t read the rest of the series BUT it they’re all stand-alone so it was very easy to understand.
This book was so good. I genuinely enjoyed it so much and I loved seeing both of them find a common ground to be together.
Thank you netgalley and Serena Bell for this advanced readers copy!! <3
Overall, a good read. I liked coming back and reading more about the Wilder family. The author did a good job of addressing important issues while also maintaining a generally positive and lighthearted mood.
Thank you to the publisher for kindly providing me with an ARC via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
What if you were meant to do more, be more, than the current status of your life? What if you aren’t destined to forever wear the label people have bestowed upon you?
I loved the message that you don’t always have to stay the same as you’ve always been, just because it’s the way your life has been mapped out thus far. Sometimes all it takes is one night in Vegas, pretending to be someone different, to kickstart your life as the person you were always meant to be.
Kane has always been the dependable, loyal, rock solid brother- the boy next door. And Mari, has always been guided by wanderlust, never staying in one place too long. When their lives collide and are forever altered by one night, they realize that they are the missing piece of each other’s puzzle.
I loved seeing these characters break out of their boxes. They saw each other on more than a surface level, a level deep and untouched by others. They truly seemed like soulmates and their chemistry was off the charts. Can I just say that their night in the airstream was 🥵
4 out of 5 Stars
Thank You Jelsba Media Group and Netgalley for my ARC of A Little Wilder.
A Little Wilder is book 4 in the Wilder Adventures but can be read as a standalone. A Little Wilder was the first book by Serena Bell that I have read, and it won't be the last. I loved Mari and Kane.
I thoroughly enjoyed A Little Wilder from Serena Bell. This is a well-written romance with two main characters that I truly found engaging. Kane is a really great guy and his attentiveness and goodness is swoon worthy. Mari is a bit off-beat and her job as an airstream renovator is quite unique. Together, they create a dynamic couple with a bundle of joy on the way. If you are a fan of the accidental pregnancy trope and a seek adventure, you will enjoy this book.
This was adorable!
I usually don’t read second chance romances or books that involve pregnancy, but I found myself smiling through this a lot.
This had spicy scenes, scenes that had me rolling on the floor laughing, and scenes that touched my heart.
I read this in one day. I was hooked the whole time and really enjoyed the story.

Special thanks to Netgalley and Author Collective 20 for this digital ARC.
Marigold Barrymore and Kane Wilder had a one-night stand 7 months ago, in Las Vegas, and didn’t exchange a way of contact. So, when Mari found out she was pregnant she had no way to tell him. She searched for him online but in vain.
One day, she receives a job proposal, to renovate six Airstreams, in the town of Rush Creek. When she arrives, the man who asked her there panics when sees her belly and calls Kane. That's because he is the uncle of her baby, who she had talked to about work, that same day in Vegas. This is how this beautiful story begins.
Mari stays to do the job and to get to know Kane’s family. They agree to keep the secret that Kane is the father, and while Mari is deciding what the future will be for her and the baby, Kane is trying to make her fall in love with him and Rush Creek.
It’s easy-going, so light that I just wanted to keep reading, extra adorable and spicy. It’s my kind of banter, which made me love it even more. I liked it so much that I got the previous books and am reading the first one.
If you want a light book that will make you feel happy, and will make you laugh, this is a great choice. Give it a try!
I also love the detail of the animals on the covers. There’s a little animal on the cover of each book and, as is my experience with the two books, it appears in some part of the story as a little detail. But I think it’s a nice touch.
Even without reading the previous books before this one, I didn’t feel lost in the family history. It made me want to read the others, but it explained everything I needed to understand this story.
The characters were solid, well written, with believable pasts and actions in the present. It didn’t have the generic “Oops! Something went wrong and they are not together anymore” almost at the end of the book, which made me enjoy it even more. This story is more believable, with its ups and downs, such as any real life. Mari and Kane had their problems but were able to help each other, make each other better, and be more confident, and Kane’s family was always there to help when needed.
I will give this book a 4.5*.
Note: I especially enjoyed the Lord of the Rings mentions because I was also reading The Fellowship of the Ring at the same time as this book.
Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.
I flipping love this series! How cruel to have a teaser of the next book at the end too, now the wait will be torture!
Usually I’m not big on the surprise pregnancy trope, but I really liked the tease of this plot in the previous book and I couldn’t have hit the “request” button faster if I tried.
Things I liked:
- Kane is… perfection. What a man. What was wrong with all his other girlfriends?! Why couldn’t they see it?
- I loved the message: you can have all different kinds of lifestyles with a little one
- The presence of the full Wilder crew (but not as much outdoor action in this one, which was sad!)
- High quality steam, it didn’t come across too cringe
Things I was unsure about:
- I lost sense of time in this, even with pregnancy as a marker. I think I would have found it more believable if Mari discovered Kane more around the 6 month mark too.
- Too sweet? (Nah, no such thing)
In short: this series slaps and I can’t wait for Easton’s book. I need it yesterday.
