Really enjoyed this story with all the different family dynamics and challenges running through it.
Ruth Jones is a great author.
What a fantastic read again from Ryth Jones. A story which features four generations of women who all have difficulties in their lives and some secrets that have been buried for years. Grace is approaching her 90th birthday and is still going strong but she has had no contact with her only daughter for thirty years and has never given up hope of seeing her again, but she is very close to her granddaughter and great granddaughter and she has plenty of drama and heartache to face if the family problems are going to be resolved. A great mix of interesting characters with a great story line which made this a lovely warmhearted, beautiful and heartbreaking read at time and tissues were needed at the end. A 5⭐ read and highly recommended
Good grief. This is truly a novel that pulled on every last emotion I have. Whilst initially it seemed slow to start, suddenly I was part of the family, enjoying every moment. A book I read into the night. Cannot recommend more highly.
Well where do I start, want to start by saying I'm absolutely gutted it's over
A beautiful read about mothers, daughters and family, a fantastic array of charecters all wrapped up in a beautiful story, loved every single page
Another incredibly moving book by Ruth Jones.
The story about and between the 4 generations of family reflects life and is both funny and sad at times. Another page turner
