Be Your Everything by Catherine Bybee, book two in the D’Angelos series is an amazing story that captures you on page one, not letting go until you reach the end. This is a brother's best friend, secret wedding romance. Chloe D'Angelo has had a crush on Dante Mancuso, her brother’s best friend, since she was young; but he's been living in Italy for the last 5 years. They are all together and doing a bachelor/bachelorette party in Vegas for Chloe’s oldest brother and his fiancée. She didn't wear the red dress for him. She didn't have too much to drink and find herself in a wedding chapel and marrying her crush. Wait. She totally did. Now they have to keep it a secret until they can figure out what to do. Dante can't keep his eyes off Chloe. She's beautiful, smart, funny, and very off-limits. He knows her brothers would kill him if he touched her, but what if they were married. He didn't plan it, but when they happen to walk by a wedding chapel, he jumps at his chance. Now he just has to convince her to take a chance on him. Chloe doesn't want to face Dante. She has real feelings for him but it can never work. She's already has a trip to Bali planned, so why not go early and get away. Dante isn't going to let her run from him. Not anymore. She's his wife and he wants to make her his, for real. Dante doesn’t give up easily. He will go around the world to find her and make her see that they are meant to be together, regardless of what their families are going to think.
Ms. Bybee explored the impulsiveness of a Vegas wedding, family bonds of love and respect, the acceptance of moving on, and the opportunity to find oneself and the love within. She provided a tale rich with emotions, sizzling chemistry, family dynamics, clever banter, and endearing secondary characters allowing Chloe and Dante to have their chance at love, and a future together. I highly recommend Be Your Everything to other readers and I can't wait Gio’s story.

What happens in Vegas…
Chloe D’Angelo has been harboring feelings for Dante Mancuso for years, but thought nothing would ever happen between them. It doesn’t help that she has two over protective older brothers and Dante is their best friend. So…off limits.
Not knowing Dante has felt the same but never acted on any feelings, when it comes time to go to Vegas for her brother’s bachelor and bachelorette getaway, Chloe is determined for him to notice her.
And notice her he does..
But what happens in Vegas…may not stay in Vegas. Too much alcohol, stolen kisses, and a Vegas chapel, what are these two going to do now? And how will Chloe’s family, especially her older brothers react?
But when Chloe flees to Bali for some soul searching and to avoid her family, Dante is determined to make things right between them and not lose the one woman who has stolen his heart.
Be Your Everything was another wonderful read by Catherine Bybee. I’m loving this series and I can’t wait for the next book!
As soon as a romance novel starts out in Las Vegas, you know that the couple will get drunk and then get married. It’s a common trope and a bit tired. However, what made this rise above it was the heroine’s background as part of an overly protective Italian family. The hero is her brother’s best friend so you can mix in the trope of the guy dating his friend’s little sister. I liked the family scenes, but found that the novel dragged a bit. It felt like there were several separate chapters in this romance. As soon as one part had been resolved, the author would throw in another set of plot points and start an almost totally separate plotline.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.
I started reading this and found it was the sequel to the book I had been looking for that I had read earlier. I loved the first book and this one was just as good. This one featured Chloe and Dante. They had been friends forever but were very attracted to each other. Dante had been told as a teenager by her brothers that she was off limits. He followed that rule until one night in Vegas. What happened in Vegas did not stay there. She fled but couldn't hide her feelings from him. I loved how they came together, how her brothers were outraged at first and then saw the light and how their two Italian mothers thought they were living in sin. An excellend story that I highly recommend.
I got this book from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas right? That is unless you secretly marry your brother’s best friend who you have secretly crushed on for years and know is 100% off limits.
Chloe D’Angelo is the only girl in her family and her overprotective brothers do not make dating easy for her.
Dante has been friends with Gio forever and that has made it impossible to act on his feelings for Chloe, who is also Gio’s sister. Dante has always seen and treated Chloe like a kid sister but one day that changed when he started to see her as more and couldn’t stop his feelings from growing. His solution to hiding these feelings is to distance himself from her. This works until he’s in Vegas for Lucas’s bachelor party and Chloe is there as well with the bachelorette party. Left alone one night with a little too much to drink Dante and Chloe end up getting married.
These 2 definitely had a lot of obstacles to overcome but I really enjoyed how their relationship progressed. I loved seeing them be a couple before their overbearing families find out about them. I loved how hard Dante fought to show Chloe how much he truly wanted her and seeing Chloe let her walls down and becoming who she truly is instead of just a D’Angelo sibling. Their chemistry was perfect!
I really enjoyed this book. While it can definitely be read as a stand-a-lone I recommend reading the first book in this series, When it falls apart first to get to know the crossover characters in this book.
A lovely romance for Chloe D’Angelo and Dante Mancuso. Their families have been friends for years and Chloe has long lusted after Dante. Dante has been attracted to Chloe, but he knew how her brothers would react if he chose to pursue her. Staying away was his best option until Luca and Brooke’s wedding in Las Vegas. Chloe and Dante’s relationship undergoes a major change in Vegas…their kiss…their wedding, what? Chloe wakes up to find herself married to Dante, no church, no priest, no honeymoon; boy are they in trouble. Keeping their secret, for now, Chloe is even more determined to take her vacation to Bali. She needs time to think away from her family. When Dante learns that Chloe has left for Bali and may not return, he finds himself on the next plane, to Bali. Can he convince her that he is serious about their marriage? That he is serious about her and has been for a long time? Romance, laughter, family issues all rolled into one amazing sequel to “When it All Falls Apart”. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)
Chloe and Dante have known each other a very long time, and there's ever only been one rule for Dante to follow: Chloe is off limits. It was a n easy rule for Dante to follow, until it wasn't. The idea of losing his friendship with Gio and Luca is devastating. But the idea of never even trying with Chloe, it's unimaginable. After a trip to Vegas for Luca and Brooke's bachelor/bachelorette party, Dante might just have a chance with Chloe. If he can convince her their marriage isn't a mistake.
It's another hit for me. As always with Catherine Bybee books, I loved it. The story was well developed, the characters were strong, and the relationships developed were amazing to watch. I love the way Chloe and Dante's relationship changed throughout the book. Their connection to each other was so heartwarming and fun. I loved the friendship between Dante, Luca, and Gio and I love how they were all able to come together in the end. This was a great story and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
I would recommend this one to anyone who enjoys the following.
✔️ Brother's Best Friend
✔️ Vegas Wedding
✔️ Close Family
✔️ Friends to Lovers

The story
Chloe is the youngest sister in an Italian restaurant family in San Diego. She helps in the family business but is keen to work for herself as a yoga instructor. Her eldest brother Luca is getting remarried to Brooke and the wedding party is off to Vegas to celebrate. Chloe’s had a crush on middle brother Gio’s best friend Dante since forever but he shows no interest. But in Vegas, one thing leads to another and the two wake up married.
My thoughts
I really enjoyed the first book in this series that shared Luca and Brooke’s story and was excited to read the follow up. I enjoyed how this story is close to the “fake marriage” trope, a secret marriage seems to raise as many questions over how real things really are. There are sweet Eat, Pray, Love echoes with story links to Italy and Bali. I loved how important family support is to the couple, and how the various family members process the news and then show support. This is an entertaining read, with great writing from Catherine Bybee.
I really enjoyed When It Falls Apart and couldn’t wait to be back together with the D’Angelo Family! Be Your Everything is book 2 in the series and can be a standalone but I highly recommend you read the first book. This time we get to meet Chole and Dante, childhood friends coming together for a family bachelor and bachelorette party in Vegas. They drink way too much and wake up the next morning married! I loved every bit of this fun, flirty, and dramatic love story and now I want to travel to Bali and Positano immediately! There is romance, sizzle, and some family drama that really makes me want to be a part of the D’Angelo clan. Catherine Bybee’s writing is some of my favorite and I can't wait to read Gio’s story next!

Thank you @Netgalley and #montlakeromance for the early copy
I am loving this series! While off in Vegas for Luca and Brooke’s bachelor parties, Luca’s sister, Chloe, and her other brother Gio’s best friend, Dante, find themselves in a bit of a situation (no spoilers). They finally confront their long hidden feelings and try to figure out what to do with them while worrying about their families reactions.
Great romance, great story! Love the family dynamics throughout this series. I can’t recommend Catherine Bybee’s books enough!
Thanks to the publisher for a review copy via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Be Your Everything by Catherine Bybee is book 2 of the D'Angelo's series. This author is quickly become a go-to for me. There are so many laugh-out-loud moments. This book is about Chloe and Dante. Chloe is the darling daughter and Dante is her brother's best friend. Find out what happens when you marry your brother's best friend, whom you have been in love with forever while in Vegas for a bachelor party as this happens to Chloe and Dante. I'm looking so forward to reading more from this author!
Catherine Bybee is on one of my MUST reads lists. Each time I read a new book of hers that comes out, I think this is her best one yet. She does not fail with the 2nd book of this series, Be Your Everything. The D’Angelos are a great family, which makes me want to be Italian or at least visit Italy. The supporting characters are just as much fun as the main characters.

Be Your Everything returns readers to Little Italy for Chloe D'Angelos story, and what a wonderful story it is.
As Chloe has always fancied her brother Gio's best friend Dante. But Dante knows better than to show any interest in her and so he's always gone out of his way to ignore or tease her.
But when Dante joins the D'Angelos in Vegas to celebrate the upcoming wedding of Luca and Brooke. She's determined to make him notice her. And boy does he. Especially when she ends up stranded at a strip club with a big bill and no means to pay it. And as Dante comes to her rescue the pair end up spending the night having fun together; fun that includes a trip to a Vegas wedding chapel.
Yet, with two protective older brothers and their catholic upbringing to contend with. They know they need to keep this new development quiet until they can decide what to do.
However, Chloe can't keep secrets, and Dante can't keep his eyes of Chloe. So she flees to Bali in the hopes that by the time her trip is over Dante will be back in Italy out of temptation and harms way. Only Dante has other ideas.
And with the perfect amount of sweetness, heat, family feels and fun. Not to mention a little danger. This was a delightful and enjoyable read. That I would happily recommend to all.
4 ½ Stars for this sweet romance.
Chloe and Dante are just so cute together. I love how Dante was willing to risk his friendship with her brothers so that he could keep Chloe in his world. I felt sorry for Chloe ... how would she ever be able to date someone with her brothers and mother around? This is a heartwarming story and makes you believe that just maybe there is such a thing as happily-ever-after. I felt all the emotions while reading this book ... I laughed, I cried and I definitely swooned. A wonderful addition to the series and I can't wait for Gio's book!
Chloe has always been in love with Dante, her brother's best friend, but he's a player and doesn't look at her twice. All Dante could think about was Chloe, so he had to move to Italy to get away because he knew they could never be together. If he broke the bro code, he risked his friendship with Gio and Luca, Chloe's brothers. But when they all go to Vegas for a bachelor/bachelorette party for Luca and Brooke, Dante and Chloe end up on their own and after many drinks, they find themselves in a little chapel on the strip. The next morning, Chloe can't believe that Dante married her and is certain that he will change his mind, so she tells him they can't tell anyone and he has to look into what a divorce or annulment would take. Dante doesn't look to hard, as this is what he always wanted ... now he just has to convince Chloe of it.
I received an early copy courtesy of Montlake through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.
This is what happens when I'm not properly supervised. I request books from NetGalley I have no good reason for requesting! Romance. Second book in a series and I haven't read the first by an author I haven't read before. Now, I'll just have to read it. I do have to admit that this romance with the best friend's sister and a lost weekend ending in a Las Vegas wedding sounded like a fun read. This is a delightful, funny, no angst romance with a hero and heroine that just stole my heart.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Well, no, not if you get drunk and marry your best friend's sister. Now what happens when these two sober up and have to face their families? They lie, of course. While Dante Mancuso and Chloe D’Angelo try to figure out just what to do about their marriage, they plan to keep that marriage a secret.
Chloe says she wants a quick annulment and to forget it ever happened, but this is Dante the boy she has crushed on since she realized boys weren't yucky. But she also knows that Dante is a player. Love 'em and leave 'em and don't look back. Dante is heartbreak on the hoof and Chloe would rather not have her heart in a million pieces so after one passion filled night she bolts to Bali and plans to stay there till Dante goes home to Italy.
Dante is not sure what came over him in Las Vegas, but, after a lot of thought, he is convinced that marrying Chloe, while rash, was not the huge mistake She thinks it is. After their night together he wants to see where a real relationship can go. Now he just needs to woo Chloe and convince her to give them a chance. Except, she has flown halfway around the earth to get away from him. What's a guy to do? It's time for a Grand Gesture and Dante is on his way to Bali to woo the fair Chloe. Let's hope he gets the job done before her brothers catch up with him and break every bone in his body.
My thanks to the Publisher, and author, for providing a complimentary digital Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this novel via NetGalley. This is my fair, honest and personal review. All opinions are mine alone and were not biased in any way.
A very cute and fun read! Loved the characters and their attraction and passion! Great read with a perfect hea!
4.5 stars.
As soon as I saw there was a second book for the D’Angelo family I knew I would love it, and then I saw it was Chloe’s story! I loved the trope and it was done so well, heart warming with a few gut punches throughout that just kept you routing for Chloe and Dante.
The character development is done really well and I love the tie ins to the first book and that we get to find out what happened next to Brooke and Luca.
A drama filled read that I highly recommend.
All the feels! I really enjoyed this book. My husband grew up in our area's "little Italy" and we have many friends who are members of close knit, Italian families. Catherine Bybee absolutely portrayed those families just right! This was a fun book with wonderful characters. Thanks #NetGalley #Montlake
Oh wow! That was amazing! Chloe and Dante, wow, there connection was so strong and beautiful. I felt at times that Dante’s feelings were just too huge for him and he might explode if he couldn’t express himself. I really felt that love, all those years they had moved around each other trying to deny and not acknowledge their true feelings. That moment when Dante takes Chloe’s hand and heads to the wedding chapel, I knew it was going to be interesting.
That added twist with Eric really had my head spinning and I was on the edge of my seat as the story progressed willing Gio and Dante to get there faster.
The whole book was simply beautiful and I can’t wait to visit again, Gio has to be next with his happy ever after.
