Wholesome. This was just so wholesome and wonderful and a bit like if a book could hug you? I just felt cozy the whole time I was reading. One night told from 3 different perspectives, 3 different ways to find love.

What I loved:
- Urban fantasy is one of my faves so I was all about this. The town's lore was simple to understand and wasn't over complicated.
- Gilmore Girls/ Sabrina the teenage witch/ Angus Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging vibes in relation to the townspeople!
- The friendship between The Coven was off the charts adorable. They bounced off eachother nicely and I really enjoyed the Onny/Believe vs True/Cynic dynamic.
- I was a little nervous about reading what is essentially 3 short stories about the same evening by 3 different authors. I thought the styles would be jarring but each story flowed nicely into the next whilst still being able to differentiate between the different voices coming through. Fab!

Other notes:
- One thing I will say is this read slightly more middle grade than YA I found, but honestly, I enjoyed it so much, I'm only mentioning it as an FYI.
- One of the stories involves a bit of insta-love and it's probably my least fave trope so I didn't particularly gel with that aspect.

The publisher archived the ARC on Netgalley before I could download it to my kindle, leaving me unable to read or review the book.

On paper this is a perfect book for me but what was supposed to be a YA book read very much like MG which is fine, I love a good MG book too, but it's just not what I expected. I'm trying not to mark it too harshly because I'm sure younger readers willove it but it was a DNF for me.

This was a good book. It started out great with an interesting character and a good hook. It did, however grow a bit slow at the middle of the first perspective, but just as I was about to give up, it took off again and I really enjoyed the read.

The different authors really show here in a good way, giving the characters very distinct personalities and different cultures that works well for this story.

The writing is good and the plot is fun and cute, and the romances feel real.

All in all, a good read.

This was so cute! It was such a comforting read, three adorable romance stories and a load of small town charm. I don't know which author wrote which story, some were better than others, but I really enjoyed all three of them.

The first story was a bit predictable but damn if I don't love an enemies to lovers plot line. All the sass and bickering. The second was my favourite. A shy artistic boy and and the girl next door! What's not to like. It was still predictable in places, but in a good way. In a comforting way. The third was also good though not as good as the first two. it felt a bit like True being closed off was forced, especially towards the end when it was clear she was gonna open up.

The overarching story was great too. The star missing from the sky, the ghost making appearances and all the spooky romance of the anniversary. This would be a great read for Halloween if you're looking for something that isn't too spooky with a lot of romance.

It's a compelling, entertaining, and romantic story that mixes a pinch of witchcraft, fantasy, and strong female characters.
A well plotted and gripping story that made me turn pages quite fast.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

This is a wonderful perfect slightly spooky sweet love story.

Once I got started I couldn't put the book down. I had to know what happened . For fans of Good Witch this is exactly what you need.

It has some comedy, some aww moments and some just very very sweet. I loved it from start to finish

This book is so cute! Actually, I don’t really read romance so much but when I see Roshani Chokshi as one of the authors, I try to request them. Plus, the synopsis really intrigues me, and, basically this anthology does not disappoint me at all, which for me can be considered as an achievement because I do not really read romance. Basically, all three stories have sweet romance but with different backgrounds or triggers (from my understanding). The fantasy vibes here are nicely woven in the background, like, the town of Moon Ridge is a town that is for me is still modern, but has a fantasy vibe to it maybe due to its legend. I really like the representations here, especially Onny because I can understand several Filipino words used in the story, because my mother tongue has some similar words with Filipino language. From The Coven, I can see Ash in myself, but I don’t have his courage. For me, this book suits sweet romance fans.

Thank you to NetGalley and Hodder & Stoughton for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Three Kisses, One Midnight is a good pick for the chilly months and the perfect read for Halloween. I recommend it to those who are not into horror, or scary novels, and would rather read something magical.
I was excited to read the book since the authors announced the project. The thing is, I don’t know why but I thought that this would be about three friends who are actually witches. That was not the case. Three Kisses, One Midnight is a contemporary book with some magical elements. It's not three POV novel, it's three Novellas in one book.

1. Novella
5. Stars
This was my favorite novella out of the three. I felt magic in the air, I liked the plot, and our main character, and I giggled the whole time while I read it. It was cute.

2. Novella
4. Stars
The second novella was quite good too, but I was not a fan of the plot. I was often bored. The reason is what I gave four stars is because of the love of art in the novella. Our main character Ash is an artist, and I loved his costume idea for the Midnight Gala, and I enjoyed the descriptions of how he made the masks for the party.

3. Novella
2. Stars
I really disliked this one. The characters were nice, especially Orion, but the plot? I hated it. And True’s ex-boyfriend was totally unnecessary.

I received an electronic advanced reader copy of this book in return for my honest opinion. Thank you to Hodder & Stoughton and all three authors for allowing me to read this before it’s release!

This book was such a cute read with the perfect vibes for Halloween. It follows three teens as they try to use a “love potion” on the 400th anniversary the founding of Moon Ridge; a day with a legend filled with romance and magic. While each member of the Coven has different beliefs when it comes to all things magical, this is a night that will change how they see things.

With magic and ghosts, Onny, Ash and True are in for a very unique night, that may just bring new love into their lives.

If you’re looking for a cute, slightly spooky read to add to your October TBR’s you’ll want to be getting your hands on a copy of Three Kisses, One Midnight.

"I want to see what happens next... with you. And me."

Three Kisses, One midnight is a tale told in three parts (by three different authors). It is stories of three friends, also known as The Coven, who are on their way to discovering their own true love.

Each character has their own unique personality and traits that I loved, Onny is all about tarot and reading the stars, Ash is a painter with such a creative and talented mind and True is a lover of science and her car, fantastically names Hocus Pocus.

This was honestly such a sweet and beautiful book. I fell in love with Onny's story the most but True's is a close second with the ghost hunting mentions! (I need an Orion Parker in my life pleaseeeeeee!). I also loved Ash and Cassidy's story so much, it was adorable and heartwarming.

Even though three people wrote this book, the stories flowed so smoothly and the characters never felt out of place. I was and still am thoroughly impressed!

This book is the perfect read for Autumn/Halloween vibes and I am so grateful to have received an eArc in exchange for my honest review.

I really enjoyed all three of the stories in this book. It was a fun read and I definitely enjoyed all the magic and supernatural elements. This book is perfect for the Autumn and Spooky season. My favourite story of the three was definitely Onny ‘s and I enjoyed how the epilogue wrapped up the story. The stories were all well written and the characters were all well developed.

I definitely recommend this book, especially for the upcoming Autumn / Spooky Season.

Thank you to Netgalley, the authors and Hodder & Stoughton for this early eARC in exchange for an honest review.

One magical night, three unique friends and the people that will steal their hearts. As Halloween settles over the town Onny prepares the love potion her grandmother left her. Certain of where her heart lies she sees the events of the night unfolding only one way. She shares it with her two best friends who don`t seem so intent on using it. But events unfold in all three stories as their perfect matches find them and with a little intervention from the local legend life might just be lot more magical than they ever could have expected!

Due for release late August 2022 (bad timing as this would make a perfect Halloween read), this is a feel-good anthology featuring three interlinked stories.
Best friends Onny, Ash and True are seen as a little odd by their classmates. Strong and confident characters, they are passionate about their interests - but in high school these interests aren’t necessarily the things that gain you popularity. However, with Halloween drawing near the three decide to draw in a little supernatural help to make a love potion.
Each author has written a separate story featuring one of the characters. We follow them during a Halloween party and see them as they go about their business of trying to find love. It’s not always obvious to the characters themselves, but it was great fun to watch them realise the truth.
Thanks to NetGalley for giving me the chance to read this before publication. Super-cute and a book you can’t help but smile at, whatever side of the argument you come down on.

As Onny says ‘it’s nice to believe in a little magic in the world’.

This book is the perfect autumn comfort read. There’s magic, there’s romance and there’s a nice bit of hope wrapped in there two.

With three lovely interwoven stories following three friends of ‘the coven’ I enjoyed the different perspectives and tropes that came up. Ash’s story was my favourite.

Thanks NetGalley and Hodder & Stoughton for the ARC.

Three Kisses, One Midnight was joyous. I had so much fun reading all three stories, even to the point I was having to bite my lip to stop myself squealing and kicking my feet. All three love stories were rich and vibrant and truly enjoyable to read about, but with academic rivals being my #1 trope in romance fiction, Onny and Bryce’s story was by far my favourite. There were multiple times I had to put my kindle down because I was getting overwhelmed, and I have highlighted practically their entire section in pink. I have not been able to stop thinking about them since finishing their story.

Ash and Cassidy were very sweet, but I did find myself ever-so-slightly less interested in them simply because I am not overly interested in art, so whilst Ash’s love for art was a great aspect of his character and his connection with Cassidy, it just didn’t capture all of my attention. True and Orion were incredibly cute, especially the scene with True’s parents, and I LOVED her story line with both the Lady of Moon Ridge and standing up to Bradley. However, due to them meeting the night the anthology takes place, their Insta-Love, whilst still adorable, felt glaringly different to the other two couples who both had history.

All of the characters were so well-developed with their different personalities, insecurities, and motivations clearly evident throughout. I really enjoyed all of the moments where The Coven are involved, whether that be a flashback, a text-chain, or just them interacting. Their friendship was really special, and tied the three stories together beautifully.

I cannot emphasise enough how phenomenal the writing was at setting the scene to these stories. I am only familiar with Roshani Chokshi’s previous work, though after this I will definitely be checking out both Sandhya Menon and Evelyn Skye. Their ability to weave their lyrical prose and enchanting descriptions really brought the town of Moon Ridge to life and made this anthology what it was. They captured exactly what it is that I like about the Halloween and autumnal atmosphere - spooky, mystic, and spiritual - rather than blood, guts, and gore.

I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy when it comes out and reread it around Halloween to experience the full effect. I have a feeling I will be returning to these stories for October’s to come.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC. All opinions are my own.

Legend says that the Lady of Moon Bridge appears on earth to bless those finding love on one day of each century. With Lola’s love potion recipe, Onny brewed three little vials for The Coven which consisted of her, True, and Ash. Before midnight ends, they will have to seal the connection with a kiss. Onny falls for someone she never thought she would end up with, Ash’s bravery led him to love, and True who only believed in science will finally accept something magical.

We start with Onny’s love story. Onny has always believed in magic, especially since her grandmother seems to have a knack for all things magical. In school, Onny carries around her crystals, a deck of tarot cards, her vast knowledge of zodiacs, and her whole-hearted belief in magic. With her grandmother’s recipe, Onny is determined to gain Alexander the Great-Looking’s attention. Instead, she finds herself thinking about a silver-eyed boy instead.

I adored Byron and Onny. Each of their interaction just hints that Byron has hidden feelings for Onny but she just couldn’t understand why he’s always acting weirdly around her. To us, it’s obvious that Byron liked Onny from the start.

Ever since Cassidy moved next door to Ash, he had been crushing on her. Despite his large physic, Ash is the quietest one in The Coven. While finishing up the Venetian masks he was commissioned to make for the masquerade ball, Cassidy comes crashing through the fence between their homes. As they fixed up the fence and did a little tour of a haunted house, Ash finally has an opportunity to talk to Cassidy without feeling like an utter fool.

To outsiders, everyone can see that both Cassidy and Ash like each other. However, the couple in question never thought the other person would ever be interested. Unlike the previous story, Cassidy and Ash’s was set in their homes. I liked that the authors didn’t make everything happen at the masquerade ball.

Out of the three, True is the most skeptical about all things magic and love. Being burned before by someone who didn’t understand her brilliance, the love potion brewed by Onny was never going to be used this night. When Orion introduced himself at the party, he was the total opposite of True. He believed in the supernatural and magic.

Since they started as absolute strangers, I think the scavenger hunt around the house helped in pulling them close together, making the love story a little more convincing. I liked that True was giving Orion and herself a chance for something more.

Overall, I enjoyed the three short stories about three best friends finding their love within one midnight. Roshani Chokshi, Sandhya Menon, and Evelyn Skye nicely created an anthology that didn’t feel fragmented. There’s an origin tale that connected the three love stories together, and the friendships are written really well too.

One Liner: Lighthearted and fun

Moon Ridge is a delightful small town with 400 years of history. Everyone knows about the Lady of Moon Ridge and her love story. Halloween has a special significance in the town. After all, the Lady of Moon Ridge descends from the stars once every hundred years and walks among the people to help lovers unite at midnight.
It’s no surprise that the high school students (and many adults) are super excited about Halloween. It’s the hundredth year and time for the mysterious lady ghost to make an appearance.
The Coven, a trio of mismatched besties- Onny, True, and Ash, have mixed feelings about the special occasion. Onny is excited to find true love using her granny’s love potion. True wants nothing to do with magic. Ash is doubtful if he’ll ever find love (or win it).
What happens on Halloween party eve? Do the friends get what they want? Can they hope for their deepest wishes to come true? And what’s Halloween without some magic?

Onny’s Story
Onny comes from the richest family in the town but is loved by many. She plans her life based on astrology, tarot, and signs from the stars. Ash and True love her enough to indulge in her antics (which are often). She is determined to use the love potion on the guy she sets her eyes on. But things rarely go as planned.
Her story sets the tone for the rest of the novel. It uses the academia frenemies-to-lovers trope with a third party thrown into the mix. Onny is infuriating but a sweetheart too.

Ash’s Story
Asher is an awkward nerdy teen who feels comfortable with art and just two humans, Onny and True. He has a huge crush (turned love) on Cassidy, his neighbor. When a chance incident brings him and Cassidy close enough to talk and spend some time together, can Asher use the chance to win his lady love?
The story is sweet and predictable (which is the case with this genre). Ash’s love for art comes across very clearly though the ‘love track’ could have been better. Still, it suits the book’s theme and atmosphere.

True’s Story
True believes only in science. Magic has no place in her life despite being Onny’s best friend. She’s learned to guard her heart, but meeting Orion at the Halloween party might just change her mind (or her heart).
This story has insta-love and maximum paranormal activity in the entire book. Makes sense that it would happen to True, right? ;) The story is rather cute, even if I didn’t like the insta-love trope.

Overall Observations:
The writing is a bit disjointed in places but a fast read once you stop looking for a seamless transaction between the stories.
It is a YA book so expect some (a lot) eye-roll moments and dialogues. The Coven is colorful, with each of them having a distinct personality. They act more like early teens, but that’s fine too. They are still teens.
All stories are pretty light though they do deal with some heavy issues. Don’t look for anything deep. This book is meant to be enjoyed.
There’s a diverse rep and a cool LBGT couple (who can have a story of their own).
The magic isn’t really there. The book has very mild bits of paranormal (almost as if ticking off a box). The atmosphere is there but not enough magic except in the last part. It would have been better if the events were more evenly distributed across all three stories.
I’d have loved it more if the three stories were interwoven into one novel where things happen in parallel. It sure would have helped with character development and pacing.

To sum up, Three Kisses, One Midnight is a lighthearted read in a cozy setting. It’ll work as a breather between heavy reads as long you don’t think much about the plotlines.
Thank you, NetGalley and Hodder & Stoughton, for the eARC. This review is voluntary and contains my honest opinion about the book.

umm this book was so FRICKING CUTE!!! I couldn't put it down...

~thanks to Hodder and Stoughton/NetGalley for the ARC ~
For starters, I don't think it has been marketed enough over on Instagram or BookTok, because this is such a perfect Autumn read, and it is co-written by not one but THREE amazing female authors and I just loved the lead characters.

This was a quick and easy read, perfect for one cosy autumn's day with a hot chocolate, even better if you read it around Halloween. It was light-hearted, such a sweet little YA romance novel. It is basically three little novellas that interlink, it follows three best friends (set in high school), Onny, True, and Ash. Each has their own POV story, where they try to find love.

They live in a small town called Moon Ridge that was founded 400 years ago, the lady of Moon Ridge is said to come down from the stars to visit the town of Moon Ridge every 100 years and help people find true love. The book is set mainly over Halloween and the day that Onny's parents are hosting their huge annual town-wide midnight masquerade. The book has hints of magic, witches, and ghosts, which I really liked! It added a little extra special something to the book!

Onny's story was my favourite, it was basically a rivals/enemies to lovers, and I enjoyed the banter in that one the most. Ash & True's stories were also very sweet.

Honestly, I couldn't put it down. It was well written and very sweet, one of those books you could pick up after reading something darker or heavy, maybe even just a quick weekend read.

I would recommend for fans of XOXO, The Ex Hex, TATBILB, and of course if you love Roshani Chokshi I firmly believe you will enjoy this.

Overall, 4 stars.

This was such a cute Halloween read! It gave total Stars Hollow/Vampire Diaries/perfect autumn in a small town vibes. There's three novellas, each focusing on a best friend from 'the Coven', as they deal with their love lives at the masquerade ball. So much fun!
