For a first chapter, I got a sense of the main characters. The reader is able to feel Minami and Kijima's personalities quite well and see how their dynamics worked. However, the chapter goes back and forth with flashbacks and time-lapses which makes the flow of the story kind of choppy. It needed a better distinction between the timeline.

Still, I found Minami's character to be quite endearing. I'd love to see him grow and see how that affects his budding relationship with Kijima.

Thank you to the publisher for the preview!

Though only one chapter, I can tell this would be something I’d like to finish. We start off with our two leads already in a relationship and get a look at how they ended up that way. I enjoy stories that begin with the relationship established because now that they’ve gotten the ‘I like/love/want to be with yous’ out of the way, what happens next?

I don’t think this one is for me. I couldn’t really connect with the characters at all and the brothers being identical made it a bit worse for me. There are really only three characters in the first chapter and they all look the same. Also, it seemed like more often then not the characters mouths were closed when they still had dialogue bubbles. It’s just seemed odd to me.

The chapter starts off with the main cast (Minami and Kijima) being an official couple. I am not really a fan of those type of starts. I like seeing how the couples meet and their interactions. We do get that, just in flashbacks.

I am not sure what exactly is lacking in this preview. It just did not pack the punch I usually read in my yaoi/bl mangas.

Thank you to netgalley for allowing me to have access to eARCs and thank you to the publisher and author for allowing me to read this first chapter of this book.

This was a very interesting first chapter which I felt included and sucked into the story, I was a little disappointed that it was only the first chapter and would love to read and review more of this book. But the characters seemed cool and fun and the pacing of the book was very well placed. The shy and outgoing couple trope in this book was cast very well that suits the main characters. I also really enjoyed the art style although it's hard to review a very short snippet of a story I would give this 4 stars overall.

Oh my, I really liked this one!! I didn't realize this was a sequel of a sequel of a sequel, but it ended up working out. I felt like it really had a melancholic feel and I love that BURN. I'm slightly confused though since I saw the previous books didn't have English translations...I mean, it wasn't hard to follow what was going on but I would love to experience the development. It looks like there's a decent amount of content for these characters

I quite liked this preview!

I’ve read books from this author before (37 Spirits) and I like their art style!

This story features an established couple (love those!), with a popular type X withdrawn, shy type!
Full of teasing and a bit of tsundere banter, I think that this would be enjoyed by BL fans!
I definitely will be purchasing this because I want to know more about these two!

A promising first chapter to the series, I'd be interested to see more of the characters and their developing relationship.

So this is only a chapter of the volume, which it is mentioned before requesting to read.

It jumps right into Minami and Yahiro dating from the start. Yahiro takes Minami to a relatives bar (which ends up being his twin brothers) and tells him what he said to him the night they ended up dating. Minami avoids Yahiro, but it only lasts a couple days then he learns what really happened that night.

So I would have liked to see more of their interactions before they started dating too and not just jump right into it. The art is on the simple side and from this chapter the scenes that do come up they are not too spicy. It does seem quick paced plus not much filler/story in-between the bar and what happens next, and we really don't get too much information on Minami and Yahiro. I feel like volumes that integrates two relationships or more this happens though, but still interested to read the rest.

I absolutely love Yaoi romances that already have an established relationship and that examine issues inside those relationships. Minami is insecure about his sexuality and worries that his boyfriend and co-worker Kijima will leave him behind, despite the fact that Kijima is very much in love with him. There are some steamy scenes in the first chapter, but they’re most soft and not graphic or detailed. I’m definitely interested in finding out more about their relationship and if they will grow closer or farther apart.

*I received an eARC preview of the first chapter from Media Do International, Inc. (Kobunsha Co., Ltd) & NetGalley in exchange for my honest review*

I downloaded this BEFORE the mention of this being an excerpt. I even mailed Netgalley about it because I was utterly confused. If I had known that this was just an excerpt I wouldn't have downloaded it. I am not interested in reviewing excerpts. Such a shame, I was very excited about new Yaoi/LGBT manga. *sighs*

I really love the relationship the two men have, just being able to finally understand what they each want in each other. However, the plot for me seemed a little all over the place, and the art style wasn't my favorite. However, it was a cute, easy read for a fan of BL.
