This is the 4th book in the Dream Defenders series. Erika is called upon to help somebody at her school, and she is surprised to find that it’s Danny who needs help. He’s the most popular boy in school and is always helping others - what could he possibly need the Dream Defenders for?
I really like these stories; the illustrations match the text brilliantly and the storylines are gripping without being too scary. In Danny and the Slippery Stress, Erika is determined to get to the cause of Danny’s problem and anxiety. The unravelling of the issue will be one close to many children’s hearts, and this is why Tom Percival has so many fans (including me!). An important issue, told beautifully and sympathetically. Definitely a book for your classroom!

I adore all of Tom Percival's books and this one was no exception. The way Tom explored emotion in such a clear way really helps children understand their own worried and stresses. I cannot wait for this to be released for everyone to enjoy!
