I started this book and then realized it was part of a series, but had hoped I could read it separately without missing too much. I was a little lost on some things but the overall plot didn't seem affected by my lack of previous knowledge. However, I only got through about 1/3 of this book. I could not connect to the characters, the pacing is weird, and the actions of the characters are just bizarre. I understand this is fiction but I just can't get over how lax the main character is about her car and general situation, or that the agency she works for would even tolerate her behavior this far along. I gave this book a chance, but I just couldn't get motivated to finish it or even care what happens in the story.

This was a whole netflix series in a book, ots absolutely amazing. So intelligently written with unique characters and non stop action. It's kind of suspense, thriller, police, spy drama and I absolutely loved it. There's no slow parts or down time, it's non stop go go go with so many twists and turns and really intelligently thought out and perfectly tied together. I'm off to see if there's a back catalogue for me to download and work through!! A must read for fans of the genre
