“A Wedding at Sandy Cove” by Bella Osborne is a charming and heartwarming summer romance that takes readers on a delightful journey to the scenic seaside town of Sandy Cove. Ella, a talented bridal shop worker with a less-than-fairy-tale love life, finds herself newly single and the reluctant bridesmaid for her best friend’s upcoming wedding. In an attempt to rekindle her own romance, she agrees to a blind date, only to serendipitously meet Kit. Although not the man she was supposed to meet, Kit soon becomes a pivotal figure in her life, bringing unexpected joy and change.
Bella Osborne skillfully blends humor, romance, and a touch of drama in this feel-good story. The vibrant characters, particularly the resilient and endearing Ella, create a rich tapestry of friendship and potential love that keeps readers engaged. The audiobook version, narrated with flair, further enhances the experience, making it an excellent choice for a beach read or a summer escape. The narrative’s backdrop of wedding preparations adds a lovely touch, even as Ella navigates her own journey towards love and self-discovery. Osborne’s seamless storytelling and the book’s uplifting message make ”A Wedding at Sandy Cove” a must-read for fans of contemporary romance.

Another heart warming, lovely read from Bella. A great story of building confidence, love and friendship. I really enjoyed this book, made me will Ella on and made me smile. Great characters and a strong story.
I liked this lovely and funny feel good story.
But I would have liked to see more of the friend that got married, she didn't get enough time in the story and felt a bit flat.
But Ella, Lucy and Kit where great characters.
Listened to this book on audio. Really enjoyed the narrator which can make or break a book for me. I was expecting more wedding content but in the end I felt like the actual wedding was a minor part if the story. Loved the group of friends and of course the romantic interest. A it of drama thrown in at the end but everything turns out well.
Beautifully written, Beautifully narrated and just a lovely story. This one was a great read and works really well as an audiobook
I really loved this story- it was great on audio, but I would have equally have enjoyed reading it. Great story line and likeable characters with a twist that I wasn’t expecting. Well worth a read/listen.
This book was so cute. I listened to the audiobook of this one, thank you NetGalley, and I absolutely loved it!!
Ella has been down the aisle seven times and this one will be her eighth… as a bridesmaid. Ella’s life dream is to find the perfect dress for every bride. However, whenever she sends a bride off to the altar in their gorgeous perfect ivory silk gown she is reminded of those seven horrendous bridesmaids dresses she has in her own closet and she’s just about to add another as well. Her best friend is getting married and it’s just months away. This dress may just be the most horrible of them all. It’s a muddy shade of brown.
Ella is still excited for her friend to have the very best seaside wedding but the more the talk of centerpieces and flowers goes on the more lonely and alone she feels. So, Ella accepts a friends request to set her up on a blind date.
Ella was supposed to go and meet a handsome man who goes to the gym and is an estate agent. However, the mix up throws her right into the path of Kit. Kit is not at all the man she was supposed to meet but he could just be the man who winds up changing her life in so many ways she never thought possible.
This book is just an adorable story with fun characters and an excellent summer feel. It’s perfect as a beach read or a read while craving summer when those cold winter months appear.
Definitely recommend this book and the audio book. The narrator brings the cast and story to life in the best of ways.
This is one of my favourite books of this year - I absolutely loved it so much! I found it so heartwarming, romantic, sweet, funny and cute, and it helped me to feel uplifted every time I listened to it.
The main characters in the story are Ella and Kit, and they are just so adorable, with their friendship and possible romance. Ella works in a wedding dress shop, but her boss Wanda is jealous of her, and she annoys her all the time, so Ella sets up her own business, with the help of Kit, who is a builder.
I really enjoyed the whole of this awesome story, as well as the background of characters and situations that kept cropping up. Ella and Kit's families and friends also made the story fun and enjoyable.
The audiobook narrator was amazing.
If you are looking for an easy to read summer story, then you will love this book, just like I did! Highly recommended!
Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, the narrator and the publisher for this book.
Oh I did enjoy this audiobook!
The narrator was excellent and the story was fabulous.
I can’t remember laughing at a romance as much as this one! Some of the one liners were brilliant.
Highly recommended for an uplifting romance
Narrated by Charlotte Worthing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fantastic job with all the characters and has an amazing voice
A Wedding at Sandy Cove by Bella Osborne ⭐⭐⭐⭐
I really appreciated that Bella Osborne's characters were strong, especially with Ella not allowing herself to be a door mat. Nothing makes me infuriates me more than female character oy standing up for themselves towards the very end of a book.
I really loved the friendship between Ella and Kit and how this developed into something more.
First time trying this author and would gladly buy/read more by her.
Lovely little read.
The narrator was great but I would have liked a bit of difference between the characters. Took me while to realise it followed two main female characters.
Good romance read covering friendships, family relationships, break ups!
This is an hilarious, comedic summer romance with a heartfelt narrative. The characters are so well written and easy to love/hate, the family dynamics are woven into the storyline seamlessly. Anyone who reads this book will be able to relate to someone in the book. Another thing I love about the book is that it demonstrates that you can follow you're dreams whoever you are, proving that you sometimes have to take chance to get what you truly dream of.
Bella Osborne was new to me but I will definitely read more

Really enjoyed this audiobook.
It has kept me entertained in the car for a few days and made me want to stay in the car longer because I didn't want to miss anything.
Lots to keep you entertained with the interlinked stories of all the different people.
Would read and listen again.
Form the first paragraph I was hooked. A wonderful book and narrated with great style. Different plot lines ribboned through the main storyline which kept it interesting and intriguing. Another cracker from Bella Osbourne.
This is a great book, full of lovely characters and they are all so well written that you could be there with them, the audio book was read very well and the narrator was very expressive, I would recommend this book either in book form or on audio
Narration of this book was so good, it brought the book alive for me and I easily followed the storyline. My cheeks hurt from smiling through this delightful book. This one kept me hooked and entertained until the last page…
An amazingly compelling, heartwarming and entertaining book! A read you will not regret picking up if you’re on the market for a bit of romance, humour and contemporary fiction.
We follow Ella, who works in a wedding dress shop, altering dresses under the evil watchful/ witchful eye of Wanda. Ella longs to break free and start her own business but she lacks the push she needs. Can she give up the security of her job and follow her dreams? I’ll tell you, the evil Wanda will have you rooting for Ella and I was so behind her in her standing up to her overarching boss!
There’s also Lucy, a divorce lawyer who has her own dramas along the way. Finding missing persons, her mother (a drama all of its own) and trying to find herself along the way. I loved both of these characters and the wedding element running throughout was lovely to read too.
It had a lovely, light, sunshine-y feel about it and the audiobook I had was brilliantly narrated and very easy to slip into. A book you can’t fall out with!
Having read the book in instalments and having been given the chance to listen to the Audiobook, I must say that I enjoyed both versions. The audio book is well narrated and as is always the case, a different type of media and a second opportunity to read or listen to a story always allows new aspects of it to come to life.
A very lovely story from Bella Osborne.
The story follows the two friends Ella and Lucy, while they prepare for their friend Brittany's wedding. We follow the two women, as they navigate through complex work-stuff and even more complicated relationships.
The characters are likable and relatable - I think most women can see a bit (or a lot) of themselves in Ella.
The story kind of sucks you in, and before you know it, 11 hours have passed, my coffee is cold, and I really have to pee! But what a ride...
Great narration in the audiobook version.
A WEDDING AT SANDY COVE
BY
BELLA OSBORNE.
YAY… a new book from Bella Osborne is always a happy day in my life.
Lovely Ella has been recently dumped by her boyfriend and her boss is a complete cow.
On the plus side Ella has two best friends who always have her back and her not quite so loyal feline companion, Pirate who has lived through his own horror story.
Having agreed to go on a blind date, Ella finds herself sat alone in a pub waiting …and waiting for him to turn up. She notices a particularly cosy looking couple sat at another table. What Ella notices when they stand up to leave is that the man is someone who she knows all too well and he is not with his wife.
As Ella goes to follow the couple, she is stopped by an unfamiliar man who she assumes is her blind date… but he isn’t!
He instead turns out to be a builder called Kit.
Ella and Kit are connected by the couple who have just left the pub, and together they set out to find out exactly what is going on between them.
Along the way Kit may also be someone who could change Ella’s life for the better in so many ways.
I liked Ella a lot. She is sweet and thoughtful to everyone - but such a doormat. I was willing Ella to stand up for herself and put a few people in their places.
Lucy and Brittany (as in the ferries not Spears!) are such loyal friends.
I especially enjoyed Lucy’s story that ran alongside Ella’s.
The three friends are all so different, but they gel well and bring out the best in eachother.
Aunty Rita is an absolute hoot. If this character is based on a real person, I truly want to meet her!
As for Kit… ah what a delight. Bella Osborne truly knows how to write a male lead that will make us all swoon.
To sum up. I LOVED this book. As always, Bella has written a story full of warmth, love, drama, a bit of suspense and mystery, but most of all it is brimming with her customary wit and humour.
A beautiful story that will make your heart feel all squidgy.
