As someone who is currently dealing with a stalker, this books was so helpful to better understand their ,or Ives, how to protect myself, and have an awareness of how to handle things. It also gave some examples of stalkers and the choices they made that made them start and peruse someone and became their stalker.
An interesting read…..In this book, you will learn the different types of cyberstalkers, how to identify them and what to do when you are face to face with a stalker.
Cyberspace has become a place where each of us spends time on a daily basis - whether for work, leisure, education, or even researching the next book to read. I have some experience with cyber harassment and my daughter has unfortunately been cyberstalked and harassed. These situations are not fun and can cause major problems in your life. The authorities are often unable to help and you can feel very alone.
I was happy to see this book and had hoped for more information on what to do to protect yourself and your family from cyber crimes. Unfortunately, this book was not very easy to read and didn’t really have a lot of resources included.
📚I received a review copy from the publisher/author via Netgalley and have chosen to review. All thoughts, comments, and opinions are my own. This review is cross posted on Amazon and Goodreads. Thank you for the opportunity. 🦄
Stalking can be scary and can make you feel like your life is not your own and you have no control the stories in this book of frightful but the one on Kathleen Hale and how she uses being a stalker as a selling point for her books even going so far as the poor peroxide on the head of a girl she stocked it’s outrageous to me if anyone reads or buys her book shame on you someone gave her a one star rating and she found those parts in stock them and even got a background check she was so diligent that the woman stop blogging and reviewing books he also gives great tips on what to do in places you can contact to get help this is an a long book but one I enjoyed and highly recommend. I received this book from NetGalleyShelf and a publisher but I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review but all opinions are definitely my own
I couldn't get through this book. I felt like it was supposed to be tips & tricks but I just felt like it was written by someone that was scorned by all these different harassers and stalkers.
Much of this was common sense and simplistic. Poor editing made it a pain to read, lacking spacing between words much of the time. Doesn’t explain the so-called mind reading technology. I’m not sure why the author claims to be stalked and harassed by so many categories of people, seems odd. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
