Having finally found time to read this novel I thoroughly enjoyed it. A snowy Christmas in Scotland with a family like the Millers what is there to compare? Ross, Clemmie and Alice turn up for Christmas with their own secrets and so does Lucy who is really no family member and has only arrived to drop off a work proposal for Ross.
Needless to say the snow and the Family have their own ideas and although they seem dysfunctional at the start they soon the family that you would like to spend Christmas with. As all he secrets are unfolded and love is in the air can Lucy find her own happy ending.

Snowed in for Christmas is such a cute Christmassy read - just the book I was needed to get in the Christmassy spirit. Honestly Sarah Morgan always knows how to write a Christmas classic.

I loved the premise of the book and  once everyone was snowed in I was hooked. For me the worse thing about Snowed in for Christmas is the ending, because it meant that I was no longer part of this family and this little bubble that had been created and I was forced back to reality. The situation everyone found themselves in meant that there some awkward situations that lead to some hilarious one liners.

There was plenty dramatic moments sprinkled throughout as the siblings and Lucie navigate their relationships and also the family dynamic. Sometimes the kids seemed to be a bit unfair in their opinions which casued some of the drama. But despite all the revelations there was still a cosy atmosphere to the book that can only be achieved at Christmas time.

Snowed in for Christmas was the book I needed to put a smile on my face. I cannot wait to read again next year.

While the Millers are preparing for their family Christmas celebrations, Lucy has one goal- to save the company and approach the tycoon Ross. She finds herself in front of the Millers' house and is surprised to find that she has been expected. She soon learns that there had been a massive confusion but, unfortunately, cannot leave as the snow has set in and it's quite deep. The Millers are in for a lot of surprises this Christmas and their lives are about to change dramatically.

This is a lovely light-read romance, almost like a fairytale. Looking forward to reading a sequel of it.

Thanks to @netgalley and the publishers for the advanced copy of this book.

I adored this book. Sarah Morgan writes such lovely stories set around Christmas and reading one of her books around December each year has become an xmas tradition for me. Snowed in for Christmas is pure festive escapism with great characters, a beautifully snowy winter wonderland setting, charm galore and romance. So grab a copy, a mug of steaming hot cocoa and curl up and enjoy.

I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book through NetGalley and HQ, which did not influence my unbiased and honest review of the book.

A family gathering at Christmas. The Miller siblings meet at their childhood home in Scotland but are worried about their parents prying questions surrounding their lives. They all have secrets they don’t want to share. An uninvited guest turns up at the house who ends up staying so now the festive period will be busy.
Full of drama which the reader gets caught up in, there was so much going on at times. All the characters were brought together towards the end and it was a definite solid festive read.

I tried to read this book a few times but unfortunately could not get into it. The writing style was unfortunately not for me.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
I was looking forward to reading this book that the blurb promised would be Christmassy. It is true that it is set over a few days around Christmas and there are real fires, snow and relationships as the offspring move from London to be with their parents in Scotland. I thought it was comical when the children were meeting to discuss what would and would not be shared with their parents but my view on this shifted the more I read. The relationships seemed dysfunctional, the lack of honesty leading to a lot of hurt feelings and sadness. Throughout the book there were hundreds of American spellings (including 'whiskey' which no Scot would ever use) which grew from irritating me to destroying my enjoyment.
I think many readers would accept this as a Christmas romance so I've given it an average reading but it fell far short of the mark for me and I'm not sure I'd read this author again.

3.5 stars A light-hearted Christmas holiday read. Sarah Morgan always guarantees a heartwarming read with romance, snowfall family drama, and plenty of love. Snowed in for Christmas delivers all of these. Lucy Clarke's job is on the line if she cannot bring in more clients, so she decides to hand deliver a proposal, only to be mistaken for the girlfriend by Ross's family. Thus begins a lot of drama accompanied by snowfall that keeps everyone snowed in. The family are forced to work through their issues and the gruff Ross finds himself thawing around Lucy. #snowedinforchristmas #sarahmorgan #netgalley

I've always enjoyed Sarah Morgan books, and I love how she always has a Christmas book each year. At the start we are introduced to Lucy, a marketing professional who is struggling with the loss of her grandmother and also work concerns. Gradually we are introduced to the Miller siblings, each with their own hurdles and difficulties. I loved how the narratives of the characters became interwoven, without losing track of them or overshadowing. Some elements were predictable, like a good Christmas film, but this didn't detract from the warmth of the story. Easily could be expanded to see what happens next or certain characters in more detail.

I loved this book. It kept me hooked all the way through. Sometimes stories are so predictable you don't need to read them but this book wasn't like that. Definitely recommend.

Snowed In For Christmas by Sarah Morgan, a NetGalley review. A traditional family Christmas with the Miller family, 3 siblings with their own secrets and struggles. A family with a lot of love and the best of intentions. Lucy is struggling after the death of her grandmother, focusing on work she goes to the Miller house purely for work, yet she gets more than what she’s bargaining for!
I love this authors books, a most for your Christmas TBR pile, however I felt that this wasn’t her best Christmas book. I felt like I had read this book before, it felt predictable and familiar. However it was a good book, I liked that the chapters were split into each character, it felt a great way for the reader to get to know each character. I loved the Miller family and the relationships between them all at the heart of the family is the biggest heart full of love. The book was full of humour, in parts it was sad and it felt real. It’s like peering into another family’s life, peering through a window. This family is perfect because of their imperfections because all that they do is backed with the best intentions and love. It’s very predictable from the start but it’s a great winter read. I would recommend it to friends and family but I might suggest that they read one of the authors other books first. For me it’s a ⭐️⭐️⭐️
