I loved this book. Loved it. Stayed up until 4 am because I couldn't put it down.
I laughed out loud and cried a lot. I loved the ending.

I love how I fell for all the characters and was invested in their development.

Nanna Jean is brilliant.

I want another book with a follow up as I love them all now.

Going to find the authors other books now. I loved her writing.

Alice, Clemmie and Ross are going home for Christmas and all slightly dreading the overwhelming love of their family. Alice is taking her boyfriend who has terrified her by proposing. Clemmie is desperate for her own child. Ross is all about work and this has led to tension between him and his father, The most amusing part is that his sisters make up a girlfriend for him to tell his parents about, basing her on Lucy who is on the front cover of an article in his apartment. Lucy then turns up trying to pitch for work and is taken in as his girlfriend. They all end up snowed in and have to work through their issues in order to find happiness and love ready for Christmas Day. There is nothing original here but it’s a great, heart-warming, Christmas novel that will make you smile. Thanks to Netgalley for an ARC.

This is the perfect Christmas read filled with family drama, emotions, and warmth!

This is one of the most wholesome books I have read this year. Sarah Morgan has beautifully created characters that are insanely likeable. Throughout the story, you'll find yourself rooting for every single one of them. Reading this book felt like drinking a huge mug of hot chocolate wrapped in the warmest blanket near the fire place. You HAVE to read it this festive season!!!

Lucy is a genius marketer working for a boutique marketing agency that is probably close to losing more businesses. When she finds out that Ross Miller, a sporting brand's CEO, is on the hunt for a new creative agency in the new year. Lucy prepares a mind-blowing proposal and personally takes it to Scotland; Ross Miller's family home. Lucy has no family ever since her Christmas loving grandmother passed away 2 years ago. On the other hand, the Millers are a big family of 3 siblings, a set of parents, a grandmother, and an adorable dog. All the Miller siblings have their own set of problems which compels them to shy away from their own family.

When Lucy reaches The Miller's home, a series of unfortunate events take place; the worst of all is that they're ALL snowed in due to insanely heavy snowfall. Lucy is now stuck with a bunch of strangers. The Miller's have a lot of family drama instore for the readers. Will the electric spark between Lucy and Ross Miller amount to something while they're trapped under one roof? READ TO FIND OUT!

Overall 4/5 stars

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

You can't go wrong with a Sarah Morgan book. She always provides a satisfying, emotionally fulfilling read and her Christmas books in particular, are so satisfying and leave you with a feel-good smile on your face.

However, I found myself frustrated at times with this book and it's taken me a while to work out why. I think it's mainly because the romances of Lucy/Ross and Clemmie/Fergus were really under-developed and unsatisfying.

The blurb for this story focused on Lucy arriving at the Miller household just before Christmas - and for reasons I'll not bother with, assumed initially to be the girlfriend of Ross, the son of the family.

So - imagine my puzzlement when in fact Lucy and Ross don't actually meet until we are 40% into the story. Their romance is so low key as to be almost invisible and is resolved so speedily but invisibly that we're never sure what is happening.

At the beginning of the book , we have a huge chunk of scene setting in London, meeting characters who disappear, never to appear again once Lucy travels up to Scotland..

Once we get to Scotland, we meet members of the Miller family - Glenda, Douglas and Nanny Jean, who are getting ready for Christmas. Then we return to London to meet the 'children' Clemmie, Alice and Ross and learn they keep their parents out of their lives and their plan is to keep that barrier in place.

Alice has just had a proposal from her heartthrob Italian heart surgeon boyfriend. She immediately goes into some kind of panic mode which lasts up their arrival in Scotland and ultimately Nico's decision to leave as she has treated him so badly. In fact, despite Alice's idiocy, I really loved her and Nico's story and, frankly, would have been happier if the book had totally focussed on them.

Clemmie intends to have a baby via sperm donor and announces this at the end of a furious discussion up in Scotland. SHe's been in love with Fergus (handyman and all round nice guy) for years (and he with her) but no one said or did anything, so Clemmie ran off to be a nanny in London. They resolved their love story at great speed through hot sex on a wooden floor with no real explanation why.

Despite my comments, I really enjoyed this story with the family marooned by snow. However, I felt the pacing was off. All the info dumping in the first chapters could have been avoided, and then there would have been more space to explore Clemmie and Ross's stories. The family dynamics were well done, and I liked the characters.

Obviously, it's not a bad book - I enjoy SM's writing so much that this is still a 3.5/4 star rating. I just think it could have been outstanding.

I loved Nico.
I received this book from NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Love the author her books never fail to keep me gripped, loved the storyline and the amazing snow in Scotland, love how Lucy was the fictitious girlfriend of Ross dreamed up by his sisters and ends up becoming reality, loved Nana Jean and her wise words and also her bluntness she had me giggling at times how we would all love a Nana jean!
Highly recommend this book

What a book this is! I loved every page and as a fan of Sarah Morgan books, I have to say that this is one of her best in my opinion. A book based round a family with three grown up children and partners or Prospective partners, set in a fabulous snowy setting at Christmastime. The story focused on each of the couples and are nicely linked together by their grandmother. Well worth reading.

What a beautiful Christmas book, totally predictable but I loved it anyway, I didn't want it to end, in fact I think Sarah should write a follow up on how their lives continue after Christmas.... Please

The story starts with Lucy who is a marketing genius but the agency she works for might go under after they lose two big contracts. Her boss and friend have suggested that they try after Christmas to pitch to a massive sports company, whose CEO is Ross Miller, son of the famous Douglas Miller, CEO of a company that makes Scottish shortbread.

Lucy unwittingly becomes an invited guest to The Miller's Christmas celebrations after turning up to their house in Scotland, to drop off her marketing proposal to Ross, who she has never met, but his family has been led to believe that she is Ross's girlfriend. With the Miller children trying to hide their lives from their parents and their Grandmother, the story takes lots of twists and turns.

I loved this book and it made me look forward to Christmas and I would love to be invited to spend it with The Miller's..... This is the ultimate Christmas read

Perfect escapist read, another classic from Sarah Morgan - I love the family dynamics as much as the central romance.
One that I will read again I am sure.

I normally read books like this in late November, December. It was a novelty to read this during a heatwave.
It’s about the Miller family whose business makes shortbread and lives in Scotland. The youngest generation have no interest in taking over the company and all live in London. The 3 children are all going home together for Christmas. The oldest daughter is a busy doctor in a hospital and is taking her consultant boyfriend home with her to meet the whole family for the first time.

Add in a stranger, Lucy Clarke, who is in Scotland on business and wants to visit try and win a contract from Ross Miller, the son. Lucy is an orphan who was raised by her grandmother who has recently died . Lucy now hates Christmas but ends up being snowed in with the Miller’s after an accident.

It’s an easy read for anyone who loves Christmas stories with lots of snow and family traditions with romance thrown in!

Ah I wanted to move in with the Millers! The author created this welcoming, friendly family and you could absolutely see yourself in their house, snowed in and being perfectly happy about it. Another excellent piece of Christmas themed fiction that I will be recommending to others once it is released.

Can it be Christmas now?? Please! Okay I admit I'm only saying that because it's like 34 degrees outside and I'm wishing for snow right now!

Honestly this is the most beautiful winter novel. Perfect for those cosy chilly nights in front of the fire. It's so heartfelt and proper gave me all the feels!!

The characters are all gorgeous.. despite all the drama they bring to the festive break but that's what really makes them. The location sounds stunning like Sarah Morgan truly sets the scene for the ideal Christmas in the middle of nowhere covered in snow.. family.. friends.. what more could we ask for.

This story is full of everything.. heartache, grief, love, redemption, honesty and so much more it has it all.

Definitely a story to add to your Christmas tbr guys!!

Huge thankyou to @netgalley, Sarah Morgan, for the opportunity to review this book.

A heart-warming Christmassy read. When the boisterous Miller family meet for their Christmas gathering in the snowy Scottish Highlands, they have an unexpected visitor. Lucy is a marketing guru, determined to save her firm by delivering a proposal to Ross Miller in person. Proposals come into this story a lot! Great fun, whether you read it in a heatwave or the depths of winter.

I love Sarah Morgan books and I love a good Christmas story so I was thrilled to read Snowed in for Christmas. It had so many things I enjoyed, the close knit family, the views of the loch and mountains and Christmas trees to name just a few. Lucy was a great main character with a big heart who loved her job , her boss and her colleagues. In the Miller family I think Nana was my favourite, outspoken but with a heart of gold - every family needs a Nana. Yes, it was predictable but I enjoyed the book so much and am happy to give it five stars

I do love a Christmas story and always look forward to Sarah Morgan’s festive novel.
Lucy Clarke dislikes Christmas since the death of her beloved Grandmother two years ago. This time of year has become a lonely occasion, that is spent holed up at home until the festive season has passed. Lucy is however, fortunate to be in a job that she loves with a great supportive boss. Nevertheless, after the company loses some of its biggest clients Lucy seeks to remedy by finding new clients using her great marketing skills thus saving not only her job but also those of her colleagues.
Lucy stumbles across the Miller family and what a lovely close-knit family they are. They are not without their own problems but spending Christmas with them in this ideal setting sounds perfection to me.
A fabulous festive romantic story complete with snow and wonderful characters, this book is ideal to cosy up with.
My thanks to Net Galley and publishers HQ for the digital ARC of this delightful book.

I absolutely loved this Sarah Morgan book so full of Christmas that even a British heatwave couldn’t stop me feeling as if I was I was reading in a chair with a lovely fleece wrapped around me watching snow fall, flames flickering in the fire and my hot chocolate in a Christmas mug beside me!
Lucy has to try to travel to Scotland to get pictures for one of her marketing accounts whilst there she spoke to Ross Millers secretary who she has become friends with as Ross never answers his phone, she said it would be fine to drop the marketing proposal of at his home wrapped in Xmas paper -so he would open it thinking it was present. So Lucy gets to the house just as snow has started and is going to knock and drop it off
Unfortunately Storm Scrooge is rolling in with deep snow about to fall and this could ruin everyone’s plans or could it change them for the better

Perfect blend of story and characters for this Christmas story. Come join the family at their Scottish home for a warm and friendly stay in the heart of the countryside. A sharp snowfall locks then in together with no means of escape but feel the problems and anguish melt along with the healing snow .magical read

This book was sent to me from the publishers in exchange for an honest review.

Firstly, where to start…..Lucy is courageous, smart, hard working but you could say very lonely… that was until she got snowed in with the Miller family….

I loved how each person had their own stories and I was gripped with each single person as I wanted them all to have their ‘happily ever after’ I was mostly routing for Lucy and Ross to form a relationship and not just a business relationship

This is the first book that I have read by Sarah Morgan but I will definitely be picking up another one of her books as I found her writing gripping and the storyline was easy to follow even when following different characters point of views….

I would recommend this book if you want a cozy book to cozy up by the fire around the Christmas period and get lost in a romance… has made me want shortbread and to see what the future could hold for these characters.

Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read this arc.

Lucy hates Christmas now that she no longer has her beloved grandmother. She is also at risk of losing her job unless she can get a major piece of business from Ross Miller the owner of a prestigious sports brand.

Ross, alongside his sisters Alice and Clemmie, decided that he didn’t want to go in to the family business, Glen Shortbread. Alice is a busy doctor and Clemmie is a nanny. With the 3 of them being based in London they are all going home for Christmas.

Lucy decides that as she’ll be in Scotland anyway she’ll deliver her proposal to his family home in the Scottish Highlands and then leave. However she gets mistaken as Ross Millers girlfriend and by the time the confusion has been cleared up she finds herself snowed in with the Miller family with tensions bubbling within the family.

I loved reading this book. I am not a big fan of Christmas myself but I do love reading a Christmas book. Sarah Morgan has this way of bringing the characters and the Christmas period to life. I can honestly say that I have never read a book by this author that I haven’t enjoyed and this one is definitely up there with some of my favourite Christmas reads as it’s a throughly enjoyable book.

My favourite character: Nanna Jean but Hunter comes in at a close second.
