I read this book via audiobook format and I found the narrator easy to listen to and the story easy to follow. I usually really enjoy these kind of stories but this one failed to really draw me in. I did enjoy the story, I like an enemies to lover story but something was just missing with me in this story and maybe it was the format that i read it in, I’m not sure so unfortunatly this book didn’t rate highly for me.
A story of two people of two different classes coming together, where the families are heavily involved in the relationship, it felt rushed to me in parts. It felt like they switched from enemy to lovers rather quickly and there wasn’t much growth in that part of the story for me

"...maybe a small wound today is better than a mortal one tomorrow."
In most romances the fear of getting hurt down the road stops one from proceeding into a what could either be the worst mistake ever with a heartbreaker or finding your true love. Love To Hate You by famed Italian romantic comedy author Anna Premoli not only expands on this trope but throws in a few more for good measure.
Jennifer and Ian have worked together (office romance trope) for seven years jockeying for the number one position at the bank. They have pranked, stolen, tricked and irked each other for the wealthiest clients.
Ian is a handsome wealthy, working royal constantly on the front pages of the gossip magazines with the latest "IT" model. Jennifer is smart, sassy and fiercely independent.
When they are forced to work together the enemies to lovers trope is in full swing...but wait! My favorite trope, fake dating comes into play when Ian proposes Jennifer be his pretend girlfriend so his pushy family will leave him alone about settling down. In return he will let her take the lead with their richest client. Win-Win for everyone, right? Well for me at least because it's so much fun when all the love tropes merge and the fun begins.
The English accented narrator Lizzie Wofford brought just the right amount of the prim and proper speech of the royals and polite aggravation Ian and Jennifer felt for each other at various times.
I enjoyed this couple being adults with steady careers. When love does come their way their fears are expressed from past experiences and mature forethought. These are smart people but love can be scary. Though we know how it will all play out I didn't hate this love story.
I received a free copy of this audiobook from the #sagaegmont via #NetGalley for a fair and honest review. All opinions are my own.

Can your worst enemy become the love of your life? A fun, feisty, feel-good romance for fans of Sophie Kinsella and Meg Cabot.
Jennifer and Ian have known each other for seven years. They are leaders of two different teams in the same London bank, and are constantly engaged in a running battle to be number one.
Ian is a handsome, wealthy and sought-after bachelor; Jennifer is a feisty, independent lawyer. When they are thrown together to work on the same project, Ian makes Jenny an offer she can't refuse: to have free reign of their rich client if she pretends to be his girlfriend.
Soon, it becomes more and more difficult to tell the difference between fiction and reality...
This is a cute, fun enemies-to-lovers book. The characters were fun to get to know and the couple were entertaining for the most part. An interesting writing style makes for an enjoyable read with good pacing. I have listened to this as audiobook and Lizzie did a great job of bring the characters to life.
Rating 4/5
Co-workers Jennifer and Ian have hated each other for seven years. When an influential client insists they work together on his account, Ian agrees to let Jennifer take the lead in return for a favor. He needs a fake girlfriend to ward off the women pursuing him for his aristocratic title. Can Jennifer fit into his world?
This book is amazing. The author is new to me, so I didn't know what to expect. The voice is immersive, the banter crackles, the characters jump off the page. The plot and pacing never wane. I loved the narration and can't wait to read the rest of the series!
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
I'm not sure what I didn't like about this book, but it felt like a lot of work just to continue listening to it.
It had tropes I usually love, but there was just something about it that made me uninterested and I didn't want to continue any time I hit pause.
Maybe the timing was wrong, and I'll change my mind in the future.
What happens when someone you hate changes your preconceived ideas of them? How do you keep from falling for someone who is totally wrong for you?
oh my goodness!! i am a huge fan of the enemies to lovers trope & this was just phenomenal!! jennifer & ian have insane chemistry. they're my favorite couple ever. lizzie wofford did an amazing job at narrating the book. just incredible. 😍💖
Quick Summary: A fast-paced hate-to-love romance
My Review: Love to Hate You by Anna Premoli was a sweet, low-key love story about two driven co-workers who despised each other.
On the surface, Ian and Jennifer infuriated one another, but below surface level, these two rivals were attracted to each other. They were very much an opposites attract couple.
Unfortunately, for them, their families were horrendous and totally against their relationship. As a result, a choice between staying together or letting the person cared about go was on the table.
In the end, would their love prevail?
My Final Say: This book was a very quick read/listen. Although the characters came across as one dimensional, the story was fairly good.

Audio: The narrator fit the main character's voice and personality. She didn't sound like she was just reading, but gave the book life.
Story: This was a different take on enemies to lovers and I'm not sure what I think about the book. Overall I liked the story and the author's writing. The characters were likable and well developed.
What makes me unsure is the main character. I like that she is a strong, smart woman. However, she is very much against the male lead in the story and it felt that way even until the end. The end felt like she just gave in to him. I'm not convinced that is what she wanted. The story skips to six months later (not the epilogue) and the main character is still in the same spot. She hasn't progressed on her stance with the male main character.
Thank you NetGalley and Saga Egmont Audio for the opportunity to listen to this story.
This one just was not a grand slam for me. I struggled with the narrator and didn’t feel I was enjoying the way the book was narrated as it felt very flat in its narration for me personally.
The story was a typical workplace enemies to lovers plot and this one was not one that grabbed me like some of the other enemies to lovers plots as this is one of my favorite tropes, but this one just fell a bit flat for me.
There was also the fake relationship trope pulled into this one and I typically love this combo as it sends sparks flying with a lot of tension, but again this one just fell a bit flat for me personally on all levels.
Classic enemies to lovers trope!! I absolutely devoured this book with nothing but enjoyment.
Plenty of rom com cliches but sometimes you absolutely need a good cheesy fake to real love story done right. Anna Premoli nailed it for me. I didn’t realize it was originally in another language because it was translated so well.
Ian was charming and annoying in the most endearing way that made it easy to love his character. Jennifer had a love/ hate persona, but it meshed well with Ian. Additionally, I loved the added differences between the families themselves. It added to the long term enemies (eventually lovers) trope.
Thanks so much Saga Audio and NetGalley for audiobook for review!

Synopsis
Can your worst enemy become the love of your life? A fun, feisty, feel-good romance for fans of Sophie Kinsella and Meg Cabot.

I started this novel despising both of the main characters and their class divisive awful working relationship (I’ve longed to punch many an awful colleague on the nose, but maybe I’m in the wrong job) in all seriousness though I grew to really like both Jenny and Ian and was rooting for their “fake relationship” to become a real thing. I thoroughly enjoyed the family dynamics on both sides. A fun light hearted story, a great narration and well written to boot. Nothing to complain about here.

Great voice.
Story 3.5 ⭐⭐⭐
Who doesn't love a good love/hate book! They can be so fun and play out like a movie in your head. This is the first book I've read/listened to by Anna Premoli, and while I really did enjoy this I never believed the hate part between them.
Would happily spend my money reading/listening to more books by this author.
This book was decently entertaining. It could keep my attention for a little while, but not very long. My biggest issue was how predictable and cliché it was. The writing was only decent. I wish I could have liked this more.
This starts as an enemies to lovers and turns into a fake romance type story.
This was an opposite side of the tracks in so may ways relationship and whilst it was an easy read it wasn't really anything new, although I am not sure there is such a thing in a romance.
Listening to the audio version my only adjustment for me to enjoy the storytelling was for the accents, 'posh' was very put on and the 'common' didn't quite hit the mark.
3.5 ⭐
Love to Hate You was a cute, fun enemies-to-lovers, fake-dating and office-romance.
I liked the writing and the premise. The characters were also fun to get to know. Can’t say they were my favorite couple ever, but they were entertaining for the most part. All in all, a pretty typical enemies to lovers.
But, although I could see where all the animosity was coming from at the beginning, once the things started developing between Jenny and Ian, I thought it was way too exaggerated. So obviously forced, even a moron would see what was really going on, and Jenny was supposed to be pretty smart.
One more complaint - there was nothing original about this book. Though it wasn’t bad, it was nothing I haven’t read before. Which might be good, if a classic enemies-to-lovers is what you are looking for.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an audio ARC of Love to Hate You by Anna Premoli in exchange for an honest review.
Thanks to NetGalley and Saga Egmont Audio for approval of the audiobook version of Author Premoli's 'Love to Hate You'.
My initial reaction to the description and cover of this book; intrigued me with the enemies-to-lovers trope, but at work, giving me ‘The Spanish Love Deception’, vibes which I greatly admired and enjoyed.
I enjoyed the witty and tense banter presented between the two main love interests, and the storyline itself was really enticing to follow through the later to ending chapters. Premoli made a great attempt to present a love story based on the difference in class status, worldly livelihood and manner.
However, though the book had an intriguing and enjoyable concept, this, unfortunately, was not extended into the dynamics of the book.
I found both Ian and Jennifer to be uninteresting and annoying characters to read about despite their dual chemistry making up for the book's mishaps. The unnecessary plotline of miscommunication limited the potential of the book, alongside the consistent description of demonising women for wearing clothing that was not well articulated within a mainstream environment. To say the least, Ian’s character can be described as incredibly pushy towards the female lead, which was quite irritating and uncomfortable at times, really decreasing my enjoyment of this particular book.
Once again, thank you, NetGalley, for the Arc, and I hope to read some of the Author’s other works with greater enjoyment.
Not only is the story fun and addictive (couldn’t put it down) but the audio actors are absolutely fantastic. Their voices pulled on your emotions as much as the clever writing. The enemies to friends storyline was easy to accept because it felt real. The way in which their relationship builds was spot on; written not too fast and not too slow. You know what is likely to happen but you want to read how. It’s such a good book and the cast of characters were so stinking funny! I want to know more about what happens with the friends and siblings! They added to the story helping to move it along with just the right amount of levity. Great book!
“He is my nemesis, apparently” … “Maybe you mean your antithesis”
“This is not a date … this is simply dinner with a friend … even though Ian is not really a friend”
“Good girl … That’s better”
Experiencing this book as an audiobook was on the best thing ever happened to me!!!!!
A romantic story between two very competitive colleagues who’ve known each other for seven years … or at least they’ve been at each other’s throats for seven years !!!!
Ian is an aristocrat, used to have anything he wants in life, and also the grandson of a duke.
While Jenny is a normal vegetarian woman, from a normal family who’s very good at her job ( tax lawyer) and who believes that Ian is too far away from everything she is and will ever be !!!
But then the attraction between them is too hot to ignore and he’s gonna do something about it …
She doesn’t want to fall for him but when the time comes, will she be able to stop it before their social status ruins them both?
A rivals to lovers story with some forced to worked together scene, so much banter and discussion, constant electricity in the air and a fake relationship that you cannot help but love !!!!
And there’s even a one bed trope !!!!!
It was honestly too much an amazing story !!!! I couldn’t stop myself from listening to it !!!
The audiobook was so good !!!! But right now I really wanna see the words on paper !!!!!
“Today is about to turn into a Shakespearean tragedy”
“Are you afraid of me or of yourself?”
“I was jealous … very jealous … and if I could, I’d kiss you now”
*enemies to lovers
*workplace romance
*Duke and “lower class” romance
*forced proximity
*romcomish
*spice level - 2/5
Jennifer and Ian have worked together for 7 years and have hated each other the entire time. Always thriving to beat the other with every work project. When Ian makes a deal with Jennifer that she can not refuse their hatred towards each other seems to take a turn towards something much different.
Based on the cover of the book I expected something completely different but overall the story was pretty good. I listened to an audio arc of this and loved the British accent. The story was somewhat predictable but I truly enjoyed it.
