I whizzed through this thoroughly enjoyable story in just a few hours and loved every moment of them.
I think this could be the first book I have read featuring a bait shop at the heart of it, which given my interest in all things fishing when learning about it at school resulted in me falling asleep in multiple lessons, I think it's testament to how much I trust this authors writing to have read this.
I enjoyed getting to know Kenna and Kyran and this is a classis rivals to lovers sort of trope. They initially don't really like each other, but have to work and live together.
Over the course of the story we learn their back stories and I really felt for Kyran and the more I knew about him the more I liked him.
And I enjoyed getting to know key members of the Dolphin's Cove community, and by the end felt right at home in this small Cornish village setting, and amongst the fish!
Thank you to Orion Dash and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.
Kenna went back to take over the bait shop that her grandmother leave her. She saw the chance to set up a stable for herself in the Cornish village she born into but never stay around before. However, her inheritance came with a clause, she have to stay with Kyran who basically a stranger to her. The bait business is on the verge of collapse and Kenna have to come up with something to save the business.
This story is about family and finding love again. Both Kenna and Kyran comes from a dysfunctional family. While Kenna have her mum, Kyran was alone since he was small and it was Kenna’s grandma who take care of him. He also experienced painful loss and it was rather difficult for him to be closed to someone again. It is rather emotional read for me reading the story as the main characters individually dealing with some emotional conflicts.

A wonderful book by Kellie Hailes. The characters feel true to life and portray incidents that happen in real life. Set in Cornwall which is my favourite setting for books.
Remarkable concept and impeccable execution from start to the end. Every single page gives a full-throttle effect. The story moved marvellously. I finished the book overnight. The book supercharged me. That’s says something. For one, I am motivated enough to read her other books.
Finding Home in Dolphin's Cove by Kellie Hailes.
Kenna has wanted to find a place she can call home so when her grandmother leaves her failing bait shop business to her. Kenba sees this as a chance of building a stable life in the corniche village she was born in but never knew. But her grandmother's will has one flaw. She has to share the cottage with a total stranger.
Loved this book. Especially how Kenna and Kyran were together. A lovely feelgood read. 5*.
This is a nice, easy read set in a Cornish Fishing village. Although I don't know much about fishing, this book was well written and held my interest. The main character Kenna is a likeable and enthusiastic person.
There are some difficult family relationships and problems in this book. It shows that what you see is not always the full story.
This was an enjoyable read and I liked the setting. I would definitely love to read more books in this location.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for my ARC.
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.
I absolutely loved reading this book, a book to curl up and get lose yourself in.
It was really well written and all the characters were lovel.
Kenna has always wanted a place to call home, so when she’s left a bait shop, she feels that this is her chance to build a life for herself in the village she was born in.
But there’s one condition in the Will, and that is that Kenna has to share the cottage, with someone she doesn’t know.
Kyran has lost everyone that he’s been close to, and he isn’t too happy about Kenna coming into his shop and wanting to change things, to make the business a success as it’s currently not doing well.
Will Kenna be able to save her failing shop and call the Cornish village home?
I recommend this book.
Another fabulous, feel good, wonderfully fun, sometimes laugh out loud, romantic and the setting for the book is absolutely gorgeous. Please take me to the stunning dolphin cove. I look forward to catching up with the characters again in this feel good series.
