From the beginning flip seem to have a lot of anger in him and he blame regular childhood tornts on racism and not the ignorance of children. He said someone channeled the race schism by making fun of the hole in his shoe I always believe if you look for something you’re going to find it and I cannot condone racism by anyone. I guess it just put a bad taste in my mouth to start the book with such negativity and unevolved opinions you would think as an adult his perspective would’ve changed but it did not. I received this book from NetGalleyShelf and the publisher and I am leaving this review voluntarily please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review but all opinions are definitely my own.
