This was fantastic - I was instantly transported into the book and can’t wait to pick up a full copy when it is released. In a few short pages it had me laughing and smiling.

This sampler was too short, I honestly cannot wait for this book to come out, the taster was not enough! Elena Armas has done it again, she’s managed to hook me in with only a few words. Already got this preordered and can’t wait for the full thing!

This was THE perfect teaser! A great introduction to our main characters Rosie and Lucas, and I’m excited to see where the story goes but oh how I wish we got more than one chapter!

I have a sneaky feeling I’m going to like this one more than The Spanish Love Deception.

Okay so I'm excited for the full book to come out now, this was so enticing that I want it now. I'm disappointed I couldn't get the whole book as an arc but thankful to you for letting me read this chapter sampler. So far I love the main character, acting like a normal human being when there's a break in for once and also hearing our male lead thinking it was a prank too just is such a funny way to begin a story and I'm here for it! It's likely my husband will buy it for my for my birthday in October and I just can't wait!

I knew it was a chapter sampler, but oh... I can't wait for the whole book! It's gonna be good.

If you haven’t already, go and preorder The American Roommate Experiment by the wonderful Elena Armas. The chapter sampler gave me a little insight on what’s to expect and I can tell you, Rosie and Lucas will have you setting your standards as high as the moon! From the get go I was laughing so hard at what was happening and I wished I’d had the full book to carry on!
Elena’s style of writing is so beautiful and catching that you will not want to put this book down!
This will hands down be my favourite Romcom of the year and once again my favourite author outdoes herself.

But Rosie doesn’t know that Lina has already lent her apartment to her cousin Lucas, who Rosie has been stalking for lack of a better word on Instagram for the last few months. Lucas seems intent on coming to her rescue like a Spanish knight in shining armour. Only this one strolls around the place in a towel, has a distracting grin, and an irresistible accent. Oh, and he cooks.
Lucas offers to let Rosie stay with him, at least until she can find some affordable temporary housing. And then he proposes an outrageous experiment to bring back her literary muse and meet her deadline: He’ll take her on a series of experimental dates meant to jump start her romantic inspiration. I really enjoyed this chapter sampler. In only one chapter I really got a sense of who the characters are and wanted to get to know them better by the end of the chapter. I am interested to hear more details as to why Rosie had already been stalking her new roommate on Instagram. It has the feel of a summer beach read and I really want to see what happens next.

I absolutely loved this sampler and my only critique is that it was over too soon. I was completely hooked and cannot wait to learn more about Rosie and Lucas.

I cannot wait to read this book in it's entirety, especially with the roommates and forced proximity tropes.

This was the worst decision of my life. Reading a sneak-peek of a book I pre-ordered but there is still less that two months until it comes out? Freaking torture.
Even tho it was just one chapter, I liked the first impression that Rosie and Lucas had for each other. I know I’m going to like Lucas, no question about it. Maybe I like him more than Aaron. Period.
