I can't wait to read the whole of this book if this first glimpse is anything to go by. It is going to be one funny, heartwarming romantic read.

Although this is only a one chapter sampler, l loved what l read and was left wanting more! Rosie and Lucas both seem great and l love the concept of a forced proximity situation between them. I’m now extremely excited for the book’s release!

Like an idiot I didn’t realise this was only a very short sample rather than the whole book, so it’s tricky to write a review! It seems great so far and left me wanting to read more, can’t wait for the whole thing.

Good first chapter but seems so far off to see what happens, so I wish I hadn’t requested it now as it’s let me in limbo

I think this first chapter was very good and pulled me into the scene and I cannot wait to read the full book. the main female lead was very funny to read and the main me love intreast seemed fun. I love the cover and the first chapter but it is hard to give feedback on just one chapter tho.

This was such an addicting chapter to read, so now I want more of the book ! I haven’t read the Spanish love deception yet ( I have heard mixed things ) this was such a delight, I love the characters already and I will definitely be purchasing once this book is out.

After lovingly reading the Spanish Love Deception about 100 times I was soo excited to dive into Elena’s next book. I’ve been bouncing with excitement since it was first announced. This chapter sample did not disappoint, I’m so excited for more. Only a few pages in I’m already loving the chemistry between Lucas and Rosie and I cannot wait to see how their characters and relationship progresses! I cannot wait to dive into the whole book.

I regret requesting this chapter sampler because now I want the whole damn book. It’s too far away until it releases lol. I absolutely adored this first chapter! It may just be my favourite first chapter ever!! I didn’t realise how much I missed Elena’s writing until now. Honestly, I cannot wait to devour this book as soon as I get my hands on it! Best day of my life, Rosie and Lucas….I’m coming for you!

After a coming collapse in her apartment, Rosie has temporarily holed up in her cousin Lina's apartment while she’s away on honeymoon. What she didn’t know is Lina’s cousin Lucas (who Rosie has been stalking on his socials) is also staying there.

This was a fun starting chapter! I loved Lina and I'm excited for Rosie, especially since we'll potentially be seeing Lina and Aaron again.
The strange substitute curses are a little jarring again for me (mother clinking?) however the rest of it felt fun and I'm definitely excited for a forced proximity potential romance. Looking forward to the rest of the novel!

This was an amazingly funny first chapter I totally laughed out loud on more than one occasion, and that was a adorable meet cute! How am I so invested in this relationship in only 17 pages , honestly such a testament to the author's writing to get me this invested in such a short time. My anticipation for this book just went up even more thank you so much Simon and Schuster for this little teaser cannot wait for more, absolutely 5 stars!

Solid start and the spanish love deception crumbs, ahhhh!!! Also, that dedication got me all in my feels,

I swear only Elena Armas can have me swooning, giggling, swinging my legs and feeling all the things (here's looking at you aaronlina mentions) in just 11 short pages, truly a testament to how great Armas' writing is. From the dedication to page 11, this was a knockout first intro into Rosie and Lucas (who had the funniest meet cute), and the book that is easily my most anticipated read for 2022.

I was already excited, but this chapter sampler has increased this excitement tenfold. I'll eagerly be counting down the days until I have TARE in my hands, I can already tell I'm going to fall in love with rosielucas & the tropes to come!

You know it’s going to be a great book when just the first chapter alone has me begging for more! In these first few pages you can already get a good feel for their humour and character, which is a credit to Elena’s fantastic writing. I can already tell I’m going to love Lucas and Rosie’s story as much as Lina and Aaron’s. I cannot wait to get my hands on the full book!

I'm excited to see this is dual POV and though the few pages I got to read don't give too much away, I'm intrigued and will definitely be reading the full story when it's released to see where Rosie and Lucas' story takes us. Lucas is already giving golden retriever energy and I'm excited for (hopefully) more of that.

GOSH I have never ever been more excited for a book in my 24 years of living. This chapter has already confirmed that this book is going to THE book of 2022 for me. The dedication? The mention of Aaron and Lina (on honeymoon?! My heart can't cope actually), the general adorable-ness of Rosie. I absolutely can't wait to read it!

This was a great introduction to one of my most anticipated 2022 reads! The first chapter contains a very entertaining meet cute between Rosie and Lucas and sets the scene for an excellent romcom. Really looking forward to reading this book in full!
