Honestly, this book was absolutely brilliant and I was obsessed from start to finish and I can't wait to see what else Elena Armas comes up with! Their first interaction, this chapter, was absolutely incredible and even if I wasn't already planning on reading this one, I would have been obsessed from this excerpt alone.

I loved reading this one. I just love this kind of books.

Ahhhh! Having read this chapter sampler I cannot wait for the rest of the book! I enjoyed the Spanish Love Deception but I have a feeling this is going to be better!

I requested this book to see if I would prefer it to the Spanish love deception, only having a sample of it I can say that I much preferred the direction and story of this one. I enjoyed the characters, especially the mmc, I thought he was adorable

I didn't enjoy this as much as I thought I would which is a shame. I feel if this wasn't so hyped prior to release I would have a different opinion

It has taken me MONTHS to come up with words to describe how much I fell in love with this book.

Rosie and Lucas are truly the most perfect couple in the entire world. This was the most beautiful, emotional and warming book I’ve read in a long time. Everything Elena writes holds a very special place in my heart, but THIS? I connected with Rosie on so so many levels.

It was an extraordinary read and so so beautiful. Nothing is going to compare to this novel. This is definitely my ultimate favourite romance.

Lucas is the most wholesome, toe-curling and downright beautiful man. He is so soft and the way he cares for Rosie? I’m speechless. The little nicknames he gives her and the way he treats her with the upmost respect, made my heart swell. I will never settle for anyone other than Lucas Martín. He has set my standards far too high.

I felt like this book portrayed a really important message about love. We see Rosie struggle to find her perfect man, but as Elena says, love just likes to make a dramatic entrance.

I can’t wait for more of @thebibliotheque novels. I’m truly obsessed with everything she writes.

A little disappointed that it was just a short excerpt from the book, but I did really enjoy it and it’s made me keen to pick up and read the rest of the book.

this was such a fun little teaser, and made me so excited to read the full book! i loved rosie already from the spanish love deception and i’m looking forward to seeing more of lucas too.

I really enjoyed this chapter and loved the dynamic between Rosie and Lucas. Having read the full book now I can confirm that it is just a swoon-worthy and funny as this chapter suggests!

This was the cutest introduction to this book and it’s characters. It gives us a great indication of how the characters are going to be throughout the book and how they interact with eachother. Elenas writing is beautiful and endearing as always.

I enjoyed this book and it was a fun book to get lost in but I’ll be honest, I preferred Aaron Blackford as a leading man.
I’d still recommend both books but prefer the first.

This dual pov romance has everything and anything you may need in an emotional story Elena has a keen talent for making me crave more of her writing. And I am looking forward to seeing what else she has in store for all of us romance readers.

It was tricky for me to gauge an opinion because it was an extract (I was expecting the whole book) but so far, so good. I love Elena's ability to write a strong slowburn that has my heart beating and my impatience flying out the window!

This book is a light hearted, fun and easy read. The first chapter had me chuckling and entertained straight away. As it went on, I liked the relationship that was developing between Rosie and Lucas. They built a good rapport with each other. I was so happy that Rosie was following her heart with her career decision and it’s a real inspiration.

I read ‘The Spanish Love Deception,’ and I didn’t enjoy it so much and I really wanted to! I actually much preferred this book and I’m so pleased that I read it. Love the colour and design of the cover. It made me want to pick it up and read it.

Listened to the audiobook and bloody loved it!! Well the story I enjoyed but I found the narrators on this one annoying 😬 I haven’t read The Spanish Love Deception YET….I will though as this book for me had a great balance of steam, banter and romance. I liked Rosie and really really liked Lucas 😏 Too good to be true to be honest 😂 Their chemistry was 🔥 I wouldn’t mind being forced to share an apartment with him. Why can’t I find a roommate that cooks for me?!!🤣 The plot was cute and I enjoy a slow burn romance.

It was fun, sexy and features a pup called Taco 🐶 What can I say?!! It won me over…just don’t do the audiobook.

I struggled to attach myself to the characters or the story, but I think that's because it was such a short snippet! Hoping I have better luck with the full book.

I really enjoyed this sample chapter, Rosie feels like a wonderful character to follow, and I'm really excited to pick up the finished copy and continue her adventures with Lucas. Forced proximity is one of my favourite tropes, so I have very high hopes.

LOVED this. I really enjoyed TSLD and this one was no different. It’s very rare I obsess over multiple books by the same author but here it is folks - a first! Adored all the heart melting characters who filled my entire soul with love! I want my own Lucas so so much. I loved the points of anticipation where I thought it was going to go crazy until I turned the next page. I really enjoyed this one (if you couldn’t tell!)
