I throughly enjoyed this novel. In fact, it’s one of the few lately that has held my attention throughout the entire story. While I could see a few things coming, I never felt like rushing though it. I would definitely recommend it to friends.
An upbeat, uplifting novel that I thoroughly enjoyed with a believable storyline and relatable characters about every day life. This is a pleasurable read,
I loved everything about this book and I was gutted when it finished because I wasn't ready to stop reading! The characters were authentic. The storyline was engaging. It was a joy to read.
I'm a sucker for any holiday romance and Let It Snow hit the mark! I'm typically not a love triangle fan but I devoured this story in only a couple of days!
What a cute story. I loved Bea and her passion for the weather and the community which she develops around her.
A really good Christmassy story
Let It Snow follows the story of weather girl and meteorologist extraordinaire Bea Armstrong. Bea’s heading home for her first Christmas in some time and finding her childhood nemesis is just the tip of the Christmassy iceberg that’s about to unfold for her.
We follow Bea and Henry as they travel to Scotland for Bea’s interview where what can only be chaos ensues.
I loved the not quite enemies to lovers trope of this one. Henry and Bea have been forced together by their parents throughout their childhood and so they do know quite a bit about each other however Bea doesn’t seem to quite realise how much Henry seems to have liked her throughout the years.
The story focuses on saving Bea’s family’s business but also Bea’s career. I really enjoyed this element of it and felt it elevated it above a simple romance.
As always I love it when the title makes its way into the book and this one does in quite a fun way. I haven’t read anything else by Beth Moran but give how much I enjoyed this I think I’ll be looking for more from her.
Thank you so much Beth Moran, Boldwood books and Rachel’s random resources for gifting me a digital copy of ‘Let it snow’ in exchange for an honest review. As the weather has turned cold and rainy here in England there is nothing better than snuggling up and reading a Christmas book; Let it snow was like a warm hug filled with humour. Following Bea Armstrong on a whirlwind Christmas trip home that suddenly includes a game show style job interview, childhood nemesis, childhood love and a family show; with such a hectic few days it was fun keeping up with Bea and her unwavering sense of self and who she really is, I loved seeing how no matter what challenged Bea she always remained true to herself and her morals. I found this a really fun Christmas book which warmed my heart on these colder days
This was a cute and engaging rom-com that I thoroughly enjoyed! This was a 24-hour read for me. I found the plot and premise unique and the characters were well-developed and all likeable, even the "bad guys" had some redeeming qualities. This was actually my first time reading a Beth Moran book, but now I'll be looking for more! If you're looking for a quick and fun read to get in you in the holiday spirit, especially if you like books set in the UK, I think you'll love this. 4.5 stars, which is very rare for me to give a rom-com!
Thank you to NetGalley, Boldwood Books, and Beth Moran for the advanced e-copy in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
This was a cute, festive read set in Scotland. I read it while it's still 80 degrees outside where I live, so I enjoyed the snowy setting. While this is marketed as a romance, it somewhat reads as women's fiction because a lot of the storyline is focused on Bea's career and the 40 million other plot lines. This is a romance for fans of childhood enemies-to-lovers and features some classic tropes like only one bed and getting trapped in a snowstorm.
I was kindly given an arc in exchange for an honest review and I have given it 5 stars.
Whilst it wasn't as Christmassy as I would have liked, I still found myself thoroughly enjoying it.
It was heart warming and charming and I couldn't put it down. Beautiful was funny and I couldn't help but like her and feel sorry for her as she navigated her embarrassing, over the top family at Christmas. Henry was just adorable and I was rooting for them from the beginning, Beth Moran didn't dissapoint.
When Bea arrives home to Charis House, the school her parents run, for Christmas she discovers that her family have been keeping a big secret from her. Not only is the school on the brink of going under, they have also invited Henry - the man they have wanted her to marry.
When a last minute job interview in Scotland is offered to Bea, she needs to get there fast. Henry offers to help and during the weirdest two day interview ever they become close. But when Bea's unreliable ex shows up she has some tough choices to make.
A lovely cosy Christmas read.
Bea is back at home and as it was revealed that this may be the last time hee family is going to celebrate Christmas at the family home, Brea discover that she have missed out a lot what went wrong with her family. Bea didn’t expect to meet Henry, who she known all her life and there was expectation for her to be married to him despite what Bea actually feels about him. When there is an opportunity to attend a wacky interview in Scotland, Bea accepted Henry’s offer to send her there. It was then that Bea discover Henry’s true self is.
This book gave me a romantic feel and I love to be part of Armstrong family despite Abe’s has been complaining about them. I can feel that she genuinely love them. A sparkling Christmas read. Cosy, comforting and liberally sprinkled with magic, it’s absolutely delicious!
A wonderfully written story of family, friends and food. Christmas has come early with this cosy, heartwarming read – a real treat!
Bea is a woman on a mission...
...to be appreciated in her field (meteorology), taken seriously by her parents (who don't quite understand her vitality in the community), and perhaps find a little love along the way (douchebag boyfriend who's so off and on again, it's worse than a seesaw!).
Henry is a man with a plan...
...to find his joy in life (big time big thinker who left his job for happier pastures), make a difference for the next generation (and what better way to help than joining the school that helped him!), and finally coming clean about his long held crush to his potential future (so sweet!).
They've known each other forever, but the timing has always been off. Her heart's been set on someone else for so long, and she's been so focused on bettering herself in the eye's of everyone else that she failed to see someone who saw her as she was...and loved every aspect. He respected her for her quirkiness, was endeared by her brainpower, enraptured by her kindness, and ultimately hung up on the hope that one day she'd look his way and really see him. With a work crisis throwing her off her game, it may just be the bobble in life that she needs, the unexpected push by fate granted by an unspoken wish that gets her to realize just what's been in her reach the whole time.
It's a charming story filled with laughter, warmth, and heart, perfect for the holidays, or any time we need a reminder to pick ourselves up by our bootstraps, and put on a happy face. So long as we're being true to ourselves, things will turn out right in the end...and we'll be all the better for it.

After the end of a long-term relationship, local weather girl Bea Armstrong has been avoiding her family, and their inevitable ‘I-told-you-sos.’ But with Christmas fast approaching, she is finally on her way home to Charis House, the school in Sherwood Forest that her mum and dad run in their old family home. And to top it all off, the insufferable Henry Fairfax has also been invited.
Relief comes in the shape of a last-minute interview for her dream job. There are just a few minor problems… The interview is in Scotland, Bea has no car, and the snow is falling already. The only solution is for Henry to drive her – could this Christmas get any worse…
But during an unforgettable two-day interview, a stay in a log cabin and a nightmare journey through the snow, Henry turns out to be nothing like she thought. And when Bea’s first love and recent ex shows up, Bea has a difficult choice to make.
There were so many plot strands that it could of been made into several books or series instead of pushed into one book. The interview process was the most dramatic and I think this would have been enough to create an entertaining, festive, romance story all in one. I would have liked more development of the enemies to friends to lovers trope and maybe a dash of the family intrigue, but the addition of the resolution of past love, grandmas mystery baby daddy, and saving the school was a bit much in the end. Overall it was a good read, just missing the full Christmas effect I was hoping for.
This was a wonderful read. I lived how unique the storyline was. The main female protagonist Bea was a fun character which I especially loved. The author did an amazing job at packing in so many interesting events into one book making it a brilliant medium to fast paced novel. Bea having 2 men after her a difficult family and an interest job certainly made it a fun and exciting reading experience.
What I loved about this book?
Well the characters were great and I loved connecting with them. I live the fa t there was a character that I loved to hate. I loved the Christmas travel chaos really ramping up the story. The excitement of bea finding out who her grandfather was. The brilliant exciting job interview which was definitely my favourite part as beas character really starts to shine. It was a very different type of interview. There were some exciting twists to this story . I really loved Henry and how he feels.
There was non stop fun and drama in this novel that it really kept the pages turning.
What I wasn't much of a fan of?
I was annoyed by bea's fixation on Adam.
I really didn't like the Character Adam as he didn't feel very realistic. I really didn't like the way bea talked to her parents it was childish.
These points were very small matters in a brilliant read but they annoyed me enough to know a star off but didn't spoil my overall love of this story. It was well wrote and flowed well. Although this book is set around Christmas it wasn't overly Christmasy. I definitely recommend this book if you love those romance books surrounded with fun and drama. It's perfect for the run up to Christmas .
So much praise goes out to the author and publishers for creating a story that had plenty going on so you were never far from the edge of your seat. I will definitely be looking out for more titles by this brilliant author.

This was such a sweet, fun book! I really liked both of the main characters, but wish I didn’t have to wait until the tail end for them to get together. The female main character’s feelings about her ex boyfriend were frustrating, but felt very realistic, especially considering how young she was when they started dating. The job interview section was pretty odd, but fun. There were so many opportunities for something more to happen between the main characters earlier in the book, which got a little frustrating, even though if it were real life it would make more sense for them to wait a bit. In the end, this was a very cute, clean book that was a lot of fun to read.

This is an honest review in exchange for a #NetGalley ARC.
While I absolutely love the cover (those colours!), that's where my love ends with this Christmas read.
I found the story to be bogged down with too many plot lines, and found the story too long overall. A number of events and descriptors could easily not be there and the story would progress.
I was also not happy with how the issues with her original job finally came to a head - the whole scene in her boss's office was ridiculous - how Mike handled things, gaslit her, bragged about having relationships with half the female staff, etc.
Overall, the story of a girl reuniting with a boy from her past and learning how much she misunderstood him (and how great he is now) had potential. Unfortunately, I think this one missed the mark.

I enjoyed this Christmas novel a lot. I really connected with the main character.
This book really spoke to me and there are not words for it other than perfect. It’s warm, cosy, uplifting and affirming. The most perfect festive read.
