This was a truly magical read and the only book I’ve ever read where I felt zero anxiety that I’d come across ableist slurs, homophobia or size shaming, this book was such a safe space for me and made me so unbelievably happy while I was reading it.
I’d recommend (and have) this book to everyone and I’ll be rereading it every Christmas!
There were zero triggers for me in this book and just full of queer joy and disability pride and I wish I could rate it more than five stars because if any book deserves it, it’s this one!

This book is so much fun!

A super-charged fake dating at xmas romp! it's chock-a-block with gorgeous Christmas imagery that will make you feel so Xmassy (i read it in July and still felt gloriously festive). The characters are great, Haf is adorable and Kit is incredibly sexy from the get-go. I really enjoyed the way the author creates tension without necessarily using baddies – it's all about the characters' journeys with themselves as they chat and muse and get into ridiculous situations over a short period of time – a difficult feat but they pulled it off. Also supeeeer spicy little sex scene that I loved!
