This is a clear and comprehensive guide specifically designed for Britain and Ireland and it has the approval of the astronomers of the Greenwich Royal Observatory. Packed with detailed information about the sky at night, it includes suggestions for dark sky sites where light pollution can be avoided, maps relating to each month of the year, the positions of the moon and much more. Thank you to Net Galley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.
Beautifully published book filled with all the information needed to understand the basics of stargazing and the movement of the planets on the night sky. I loved it, even though I’m still incredibly bad at spotting anything on the night sky😅
Thank you NetGalley for the arc❤️❤️❤️
Comprehensive guide to this year’s night sky. Already assisted my January viewings and will be invaluable as the year progresses.
I imagine this will be an incredible hardback book. Really insightful. In depth month by month read that I will use throughout the coming year. Has some really useful points, a bit heavy on information for novices but interesting and I imagine incredibly helpful for avid sky watchers.
I personally love these books. I used the 2022 copy constantly, keeping track of the full moon which I love to photograph.
This is such an easy book to understand, especially for beginners like myself. I'm so eager to learn more about the night sky and astronomy!
100% recommend this book!
