Waves of Hope by Judith Keim. The story was beautifully written. Is a very heartwarming story of 3 cousins coming together for their grandmother to take care of her inn so she can go on vacation. And the cousins end of staying and finding love.

A pleasant, gentle, slow-paced romance. A nice beginning to a series. I am eager to see with whom the other two cousins become involved. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

Thank you NetGalley, Judith Keim, and Wild Quail Publishing LLC for the ARC of Waves of Hope. This is my personal review.
This is the first book of the series Sanderling Cove Inn Series.
I loved loved loved this book. It was a pure joy to get to meet and connect with Charlotte (Charlie), Olivia (Livy), and Brooke.
Their Grandmother Ellie asks the girls to come and manage the Inn while she is on a trip with her new husband John.
The women know that there is more to them going to Florida than just managing the Inn. They each need a change in their lives and working at the Inn is just what can help them do just that.
This was a wonderful begging to a new series, and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

Waves of Hope by Judith Keim is the first book in the Sanderling Cove Inn series. I enjoy stories when grandmothers and cousins are reunited for a new adventure! Eleanor Weatherby decides to make a few plans and asks her three adult granddaughters to come to visit her in Florida. She may have more than one reason for asking the girls to come to Sanderling Cove Inn for the summer. Grandma Ellie seems to be a very spry, smart, and trendy person who feels the need for a change. She shares the business of the Sanderling Cove Inn and her home with John Rizzo. Although her three daughters do not enjoy visiting the inn at the beach, the granddaughters have left Grandma Ellie with many wonderful memories of days at the beach with her fun-loving granddaughters.
Charlotte or "Charlie" lives in New York and is frustrated with her job in advertising. She feels it is a great time to accept the invitation to visit Grandma Ellie. Charlie gives notice at her job and decides to find a new job after her vacation.
Brooke Weatherby is an accountant who lives in Ellenton, NY. Her personal life is on pause as she works long hours and then goes home to check on her mother. Her recent breakup could be attributed to the time she spends encouraging her mother who suffers from depression. Brooke is excited to have a chance to spend some time for herself in Florida with Grandma Ellie.
Olivia or "Livy" Winters is co-owner of a bakery called The Sweet Shoppe in Lexington, VA. Livy feels aggravated that her partner in the bakery is late for work again. Livy is tired and worn out from carrying most of the load of the business. Julie, a co-owner, decides she wants to sell the business and get married. Livy decides now is the perfect time to agree to join Grandma Ellie for the summer in Florida.
The three girls love seeing each other again and soon have suspicions that Grandma Ellie is keeping some secrets. They are soon having a wonderful evening on the beach with many friends from years ago. Is Gran playing at some old fashion matchmaking?
Later they find out that Gran and John have gotten married and want to take an extended vacation. John is having heart problems and Gran wants the two of them to have some time to travel and relax after all the years of 24/7 work at the inn. Would the three girls be interested in taking care of the inn? Well, Yes! They begin to make plans for the renewal and modernization of the inn. Join the family and friends as they discover new adventures, loves, and problems as they continue life at The Sanderling Cove Inn!
Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book. The publication date is August 2, 2022.

Loving this book so far! I love that it involves family, a tropical place and is a perfect read for the summer! It’s wonderful the grandmothers want their grandchildren to come back to where they spent part of the childhood.

The only thing that is hard is having a many different characters and it’s difficult to keep track of all of them.

Thank you so much to Net Galley, the publisher & author for giving me to the privilege to be one of the first people to read this book! I’m excited to continue on reading the story!

Judith Keim's books are about connections, and no matter what age you are, you are going to be able to relate to the people. In the new series, Sanderling Cove Inn Series, one of the connections is grandmothers and grandchildren. The grandmothers decide to invite all the grandchildren that came when they were young children to see if there are any forgotten sparks or maybe a new spark would ignite. The grandmothers want to see their grandchildren, settled, in love, happy, and hoping maybe some great-grandchildren would be in their near future.
The story is about all the grandchildren that come back to visit for the summer, seeing them catch up with one another, and making connections again. Some will be just friends, but they all decide to just let life unfold and see where it leads. None of them was happy in the life they left behind, so this was also the summer of finding who they are now or figuring out what they want to do now.
Judith also takes us back to some of my favorite places, Salty Key Inn, Gavin's Restaurant and the peacock, and the Beach House Hotel. If you haven't read any of Judith Keim's books, you will still enjoy this book, but I have enjoyed all her books.
I received an ARC from Wild Quail Publishing LLC through NetGalley.

This book was as sent to me. Netgalley for review…thanks to the publisher for the electronic copy…the book is character driven, but therein lies the problem…there were so many characters, I could not keep up…it became too confusing for me…the story is lost while the reader tries to decide which person is in which family…which girl likes which man…although the author talented, I hope she writes about fewer people next time.

Thank you very much for the opportunity and privilege to review this book. Full revitalize follow both here and on the blog. I love the premise and the grandmother theme as I was very close to my own. Very excited to read this! Perfect for summer. Love the romance aspect as well,

Hope and determination can bring results…

Ellie Weatherby and the four other grandmothers living at Sanderling Cove decide with only two great-grandchildren, it’s time to swing into action. They invite their grandchildren to spend the summer at the cove, hoping to encourage romance between them. Ellie invites all three of her granddaughters to take over the management of the Sanderling Cove Inn so that she and her bridegroom can spend the time traveling in Europe for their honeymoon.

Charlotte Bradford, Olivia Winters, and Brooke Weatherby are all at a point in their lives where they have the time to do as she asks. For Charlotte, it’s an excuse to leave her marketing career and life in New York City. After realizing her partner was never going to step up and do her share of work, Livy has just sold her bakery store in Virginia. Brooke is more than eager to leave her job as an accountant in upstate New York and, more importantly, escape the lonely life of keeping an eye on her mother who suffers from fibromyalgia and depression.

When Shane Ensley is sailing with Charlotte and another “cove kid”, Eric Simon, the boom knocks him into the water unconscious. When Charlotte rescues him, it changes everything for them. And starts the summer exactly as the grandmothers had hoped.
