Strong Female Character by Hanna Flint is a combination of memoir and film theory exploring the cinema industry.

Smart, witty, endearing and brilliant. This is one to read.
By weaving her own life with the films that made her Flint gives beautiful insight.
Well written, stunningly put together.

A vulnerable, witty, beautiful examination of a life through film. Almost part memoir, part critical theory. Flint weaves her own life through the films that made her and the broader social state of films that link with her identity. Really enjoyed reading thing, I watched along with some films mentioned which made it all the better.
