Vision of Virtue is the second in A Memory’s Muses series. The books are set in modern times and about two decades ago there was a merge. Since then all the gods live openly among humans. The series focuses on the eight sister muses. Clio Ardalides is the Muse of History and Virtue. Though she has lived for centuries she currently resides in the Bay area and has a national tv show. The show is silly, fun, positive and light. But her ratings are slipping. Kit Kalloway is a headline reporter for Truth Spotter. She loves to show the realities of the world and considers Clio’s show fluff. The two are paired together hoping to boost both of their shows ratings. It takes them to creative and harsh situations and meeting up with gods along the way. The two are very different and yet they are drawn to each other.
If you love fantasy you will enjoy this book and series. I like meeting the gods and the world building the author creates. But I’m not a big fantasy or paranormal reader. So I was looking for the romance. It is there, with two opposites attracting, but it just okay to me. Clio is especially caring. I like that her character seeks out her father Zeus when troubled and that she needs time to recharge after emotional moments. I didn’t feel I knew Kit as well other than she’s stubbornly digs for the truth and loves her job.

Clio is the Muse of History and Virtue even though she lived for centuries since this is modern times the gods lives openly with humans. She has a national tv show that’s it’s bit funny and fluff but her ratings has been tanking Kit is a reporter for Truth Spotter and what she loves is to show the realities of the world. Clio and Kit are paired together because they hope it can boost their ratings. Clio and Kit both have different personality that they often squabble but they are drawn to each other. I like how Clio turns to her father Zeus for help when she gets overwhelmed. They are two strong woman who very stubborn. I enjoy this read can’t wait for next one
