I deliberately chose this as I was looking for a graphic novel which would appeal to my more reluctant readers. I liked the mixture of quirky characters and the sense of humour throughout the story featuring a villain by the name of Steve. The colourful illustrations and comic-book layout would certainly appeal to children.

I'm not a fan of the strip cartoon style stories and this seem to not become an exception. I found it hard to read through and actually gave up, there is too much going on for me on the pages and again this is very personal. I know a lot of people and kids love this type of style.
