A great Christmas story that's really got me in the mood to snuggle up under a blanket with a hot chocolate and more Christmas stories. Molly and Andrew have spent the last 10 years on a flight home from Chicago to Ireland. They start off as Accidental meets but soon become a planned and much looked forward to event. This year is a bit different as a snow storm means their usual journey ends up being a whole lot tricker. I loved following them on the journey home and how they slowly went from being friends to more. My favourite bit was when they finally got home and spend time with each others familys they slid into each others lives seamlessly. I really enjoy Catherine Walsh's writing every time i read one of her books it makes me want to go to Ireland so badly. A really enjoyable festive read

This was such a delightful holiday read. I loved the flashbacks of the 10 years of flights that Molly and Andrew had taken over the years and the cozy Christmas vibes of Ireland. A very fun perfect romance! Definitely one of my top picks for a holiday novels for 2022.

✨BOOK REVIEW✨
Holiday Romance
By Catherine Walsh
I absolutely loved this adorable Holiday read! This was a first read for me by Walsh, but I can tell you it’s not the last!
Such a cute storyline, and I really enjoyed how it was told between present day and flights past.
This book had a perfect pace, and kept me turning pages the entire way!
The characters were extremely well developed, and shone throughout the story. I felt like I knew Molly and Andrew personally and could really visualize them as I was reading.
This one is funny, heartwarming, and has just the perfect dose of spice…..perfect for reading this season snuggled up by your fireplace.
I’d love to see this one on screen! This book was out on Oct 4th, so be sure to get a copy and add to your holiday stack 🎁
Rating: 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄/5
QOTD: What is your fave Holiday tradition?
Mine is watching the Dr Seuss classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas with my Mama….even if it’s on a FaceTime!
Thanks so much to @bookouture for sending me this arc in exchange for my honest review.

To say I loved this book would be an understatement. This book, from page one, hooked me and kept me up late wanting to read more but simultaneously never wanting this story to end!
Cozy and warm like a mug of cocoa this book is a perfect holiday read!
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC!

I really enjoyed this story. It is a wonderful warm well written Christmas story. Great characters and interesting story line. The perfect read for the long dark nights. Recommend

Not to be that person but Christmas is fast approaching. And what better way to celebrate than by picking up Catherine Walsh’s Holiday Romance?
I love a good romance and this one didn’t disappoint. Two great central characters who don’t get on your nerves eventually and who are also kind to each other? Sign me up. I love a decent and unproblematic person in my romance! There’s a good supporting cast too. I loved Andrew’s Mom and want to spend Christmas with his entire family please. And I want to attend baby classes where Molly’s sister turns up and we become best friends!
It’s cute and Christmassy and like Catherine’s other books, just squeal-inducing. I loved reading it and look forward to reading whatever she writes next.
HOLIDAY ROMANCE is out now. My thanks to @bookouture & @netgalley for my copy. This is, as always, an honest review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Read if you like:
- CHRISTMAS 🎅🏼🎄
- second (and third and fourth and fifth 😜) chance romance
- friends to lovers
Molly is on a flight back to her hometown for Christmas, when she just so happens to sit next to her best friend’s flavour of the week (who she cheated on and is about to break up with… AWK 😬) Molly makes a complete fool of herself and doesn’t speak another word to Andrew … Until the next year when they coincidentally are sitting next to each other on that same flight again.. Then every year for 9 years after that.
This was my very first Christmas read of the season and honestly, I have a little bit of a book hangover. None of the Christmas books I read next are going to be as good as this one 😢 lol.
I really liked the characters, and I definitely found myself rooting for them to end up together!
I also physically giggled a few times while reading this book; I absolutely love that!
I very much enjoyed the banter and the dynamic between Molly and Andrew.
This was a concept unlike any book I’ve read before, and it was very refreshing. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants a feel-good Christmas rom com.
This was my first by Catherine Walsh but it definitely won’t be my last! I truly enjoyed her writing style, and the descriptions of everything she included in this book.
Thank you so much to Netgalley and Bookouture for my ARC in exchange for an honest review 💕

Thank you so much NetGalley for the e-arc of this book.
I really forgot about Catherine Walsh and how I read one of her books last year as a holiday romance and it was a HUGE miss. I guess I got distante by the pretty cover. I really do not like her characters at all or the way the story develops. Very much pick me girl energy and its just not for me. Huge miss.

Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy of Holiday Romance. What an adorable rom-com! I enjoyed this cute holiday read.
Yearly travels over ten years to Molly and Andrews home towns. First by happen stance, then by tradition. Their relationship grew throughout the read as they caught up on their lives with each flight.
Big Plains, Trains and Automobiles vibes! One of my favorite movies! In the midst of sorting travels out, love grows!
If you enjoy a good holiday romance, definitely grab this one!

I absolutely adored this book. The quirky banter throughout the book was light, funny and so enjoyable. The characters were very relatable and I loved how everything developed through the story. I’ve already read another book (The Rebound) by this author and loved it as well. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

4.5 stars A sweet, funny friends-to-lovers romance that's perfect for the festive season! Expats Andrew and Molly have been travelling from Chicago home to Ireland together for the past 10 years but a major snowstorm threatens to ground them this year. Molly promises to get Christmas-loving Andrew home to his family and finds a madcap route involving planes, trains and boats through Brazil, Paris and London to get them to Dublin by the 24th. The narrative alternates between the present trip and their previous flights as we get to know Molly and Andrew and they realize that perhaps they have caught feelings as well as flights. We also get to meet the two families in Ireland who are just as much fun as the main characters. Holiday Romance has all the necessary elements for a fabulous rom-com - a fun premise, great dialogue, laugh-out-loud funny bits and a charming couple. I loved the first half of the book while the two of them were trying desperately to get to Ireland and would have rated it a 5 star read - the second half was still very good but more of a 4 star read - so a 4.5 overall and I expect will be one of my favourite holiday reads this year!
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

What a beautiful festive romance. Thank you so much for the advance reader copy of this book. This was the first book I read by Catherine Walsh and now I can’t wait to read the rest of her books!

This is a really beautiful holiday romance💕 All of their flight stories were sweet and adorable.
I absolutely love Andrew's family. Moll's family is also really nice, The book really has soooo many adorable characters.

4.5 stars rounded up
I absolutely loved this book! We follow Molly and Andrew on their adventure from Chicago to Ireland to spend the holidays with their respective families, with flashbacks of their flights from the 10 years prior. The wild story of their 10th Christmas spent flying home together was a wild and eventful one, and once they make it back, the action didn't stop! I loved their tradition of making sure to fly home together each year with a friendly face to sit next to on their 7 hour journey each year, starting as happenstance and turning into something they look forward to. From their first interaction, I knew I loved the friendship that would come out of it. Both of them are sweet, thoughtful, playful, witty, and their dialogue made for a fabulous story.
My only minor disappointment was knowing that something had to come up eventually that would throw a wrench in their budding romance, I knew something was coming and alas, still found myself sad when it did. The book's good points far outweighed that tiny gripe for me though and the ending made my heart so happy!
If you're looking for a charming holiday love story that will have you smiling, laughing, and give you all the feel-goods, look no further!

I love a good book that I can get lost in the story! Fun read! It really got me into the holiday spirit!

Holiday Romance is best read under your coziest blanket with a big mug of hot chocolate. It was a great first holiday read of the season for me, with so many classic holiday rom-com elements.
Every year, for the last 10 years, friends Molly and Andrew catch the same flight from Chicago to Ireland for the holidays. Told through flash backs to each flight, with the majority of the story being present day, we get to see their relationship grow. The chaos that ensues when their 10th flight is cancelled due to a major storm is fun, magical and full of hope. I loved being along for the ride, but I wish we had a little more depth to the flashbacks and backstory. The flashbacks provided a bit more info about their unfortunate timing in taking their relationship to the next level, but otherwise a lot of their history and previous feelings was told in the present day.
Overall, this was a really heartwarming Holiday Romance - the name is so fitting! I loved their families and would definitely read a spinoff about any of the siblings.
Thank you Bookouture for the digital ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Who doesn't love a friends-to-lovers romance story set during the festive season!
Enjoyable, easy to read and a great book to relax with while enjoyed the holiday season.

Seriously good! This book was a fantastic romantic comedy, made even better with the holiday spin. I loved it!

Ahhh this was such a fun rom-com! I think it will be perfect for anyone who states they have a grinch heart but really watches Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas movies to get into the holiday spirit.
The story took me a bit to get into because it is told over the course of holiday flights over the past 8 years. The jump in timeline frustrated me at first because I didn't feel like I got enough from each character. This soon changes as the description of past flights get longer and the characters begin to develop.
Fairly predictable turn of events, but adorable nonetheless. This will get you into the holiday spirit!
