A really well written thriller. The story had plenty of twists and turns which really kept the up the intensity.
The novel tackles some really difficult subjects. I really enjoyed this book and would.love to read more from this author.

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.
It’s been 364 since Isabelle’s son Mason was taken from his bed. She hasn’t slept since that night, everyone has moved on even the police have stopped looking for him. She teams up with podcaster Walton Spencer to investigate her son’s disappearance, Waylon has motives of his own and Isabelle’s past start to resurface.
What happened to Mason and is the past better not being discovered.

Stacy Willingham has absolutely smashed it here. After enjoying her debut, the pretty massively-hyped A Flicker in the Dark, I wondered how she'd follow that up. But she has! All the Dangerous Things is a brilliant, tense thriller, that was perfectly-paced and kept me intrigued all the way through. If you're a fan of Gillian Flynn I think you'd like this.
The main character Isabelle is a sleepwalker. She struggled with this when she was younger and she suspects it still happens sometimes now she's an adult. And when her toddler goes missing, taken in the night, she throws herself into investigating what could have happened. Alongside this we have a backdrop of dark family secrets that Isabelle must face to help her understand herself and the situation better.
Highly recommend this book and I'll definitely read anything by Willingham!

All the dangerous things was a fantatic dark psychological thriller. The protagoniist has experienced sleep walking episides in her past, and when your young son is taken in the middle of the night, as a reader you are left wondering if her sleepwalking has something to do with this. As the story progresses, new characters are introduced and the investigation opens up lots of unnerving questions. I didn't see one of the major twists coming and unlike some thrillers where there is a twist for the sake of a twist, this one actually made a lot of sense and answered some very important questions.
Overall a really enjoyable read with a satisfying ending.

I devoured this book - gripping, thrilling and with several subtle twists. I could totally empathise with the feelings of guilt of the main protagonist as well as her desperation at the disappearance of her son. Highly recommended.

This was very well written. It is a heartbreaking story of guilt, motherhood and anxiety. That does not sound like an enticing list to encourage readers, but the story is very good, multilayered and well plotted. Well worth reading
This will be listed with Waterstones

The book is a riveting psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The book follows the story of Isabelle Drake, a young woman who is haunted by the traumatic events of her past. Despite her efforts to move on, she finds herself being pulled back into the darkness of her past as she tries to unravel a web of lies and deceit that threaten to destroy her.
What sets this book apart from other thrillers is the incredible depth and complexity of the characters. Stacy Willingham does an excellent job of creating a cast of characters who are multi-dimensional, flawed, and relatable. Isabelle, in particular, is a fascinating protagonist. As the story progresses, we see her struggle with her past trauma, her relationships, and her own sense of identity.
The pacing of the book is also excellent. The story moves at a brisk pace, with plenty of twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very end. The writing is crisp and clean, with just the right amount of detail to bring the characters and settings to life without bogging the story down.
The book is well worth your time. It's a story that will keep you up late into the night, turning the pages as fast as you can to find out what happens next. If you're a fan of psychological thrillers, this is one book you won't want to miss

I know am late to the party for this one, but as they say better late than never.
Stacy Willingham’s debut novel A Flicker In The Dark was such a roaring bestseller that it was probably hard to follow up with another successful one as the second. But just like her debut novel which felt more like a seasoned author's work rather than a debut, All The Dangerous Things establishes her as the author to watch out for.
The writing by the author is phenomenal, I have felt the same in her first book too, the narration raises goosebumps. There is this sense of darkness hovering, a calamitous entity just there to grab you in a vise and never let go. The emotions are visceral, the author manages to tap into the worst nightmare of a mother and the roller coaster ride she puts us thru in this book was exceptional. The brilliance of her work is the subtle storytelling she immerses the reader in. Yes, a child is missing but the violence is not on your face. The desperation of the mother Isabella and the traumatic journey of delving into her own deepest past opening up the can of worms was utterly chilling and one of the best I have read in the recent past.
365 days Isabella has been waiting for some closure to know the fate of her child, but it is not only the mystery of her missing child but the parallels she seems to find in her culpability with her sleepwalking that gives her nightmares. Unaware of the extent of the damage she might have caused, the specter of her sister’s death hanging over her head always causes her to forgo sleep altogether and function solely on catnaps. The ingenious manipulation is so finely crafted thru the layers of the story that until it was slapped on my face, I failed to catch on to it. Almost all the surprising twists are like that, out of the blue leaving the readers stunned and scampering to catch up with what just happened.
Another doozy from the author!
Many thanks to Net Galley, Harper Fiction UK, and the author for a chance to read and review this book. All opinions are expressed voluntarily.

Omg what a read. A mother's worse nightmare a year ago she discovered her son was missing. She hasn't slept. The past is mixing with the present as the complexity of human nature and motherhood is carefully interwoven into a tragic story. Good character development. You really feel the pain and the questioning.
What courage it took to tackle such complex issues . Highly recommended took a while to hook me in but when it did it was so compelling. Cant wait for the next novel. Keep up the good work .Thank you for the author net gallery and the publisher for my arc. Already purchased

I was absolutely gripped from the beginning of this book! The storyline was incredible and the style of writing was great.
Thank you to Stacy Willingham and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

This is tense, gripping and completely addictive. I have felt as though I have been watching the events of this one play out. This is realistic and believable, guaranteed to send shivers down the spine of the reader.
This has been completely unpredictable and been a book I have devoured. I literally thought I had this figured out then BANG, a twist thrown in that completely pulls the floor from under you.

One year ago, Isabelle Drake’s life changed when her toddler son Mason was kidnapped from her home. With little leads the case went cold but a mom never gives up. She fought every day for a year, talking about him in the media to keep his case open and after a year the breakthrough happened.
My Thoughts:
I went into this book completely blind even without reading the synopsis but the writing caught me up. I liked the writing style of the author and I know this is her second book and I have heard even the first one is equally good, but I was impressed. The chapters are written in two timelines where Isabelle’a childhood is featured and her present situation. It focuses on how parents feels especially mothers with little kids and j could totally relate. Some traumas when ignored and not treated can be devastating and this book gave the right example for it. The short chapters were interesting and filled with twists back to back and even gave some horror déjà vu vibes in the beginning. The ending was fast and but abrupt when compared to the rest of the plot and that part was a little less impressive when compared to the plot that was beautifully manifested.
Overall a brilliant book and I am really looking forward to read more from this author.
Thank you @netgalley @harpercollinsuk for the review copy in exchange for an honest review

Isabelle hasn't slept for a year since her son was taken. Plenty of tension and twists in this excellent thriller. Good plot with memorial characters.
I received this book from HarperCollins UK and Netgalley for a review.

Describing All the Dangerous Things as a thriller really does not do it justice. Describing it as a helter-skelter ride with a blindfold on might describe it better.
Picture a mother whose baby son Mason vanishes without a clue as to what has happened to him or how or why and you at the start of your run. Get glimpses of the past shenanigans of the various people, including said mother, and you have started down that helter-skelter. The twists and turns are very well described as are the protagonists and, as your mat of misconception start to come apart, you will be surprised at what they have all been up to. Nothing and no one is who or what they seem and so, when you arrive at the end of your ride, you will likely give a sigh of pleasure and relief at the truth of Mason's disappearance.
It is an excellent book, do read it.

Confirming even more that Stacey Willingham is a MUST READ author! Need I say more?!

Thank you to the publisher for the arc

We start by meeting Isabelle who is perhaps an unreliable narrator with the story being told from her point of view. She is at a crime convention speaking about her son Mason who has been missing for a year. She lives in America - Savannah alone since becoming estranged from her husband Ben after her son was taken.
The book is mostly set in the presents but flips back to the past to build a picture of life before Mason disappeared one night. She has always struggled with sleeping and at the moment has insomnia, so a lot of the book is based at night time, giving it a creepy atmosphere which I loved. I was racing to uncover the secrets and get to the truth. of what happened I will be recommending this book to others and looking out for more from this author. Great page turning thriller.

Well what can I say I loved this novel. The way you can't tell if Isabelle is sane, insane or just sleep deprived! What do you as a mother who's son has been taken from their cot and you haven't heard a t hing? With her marriage to Ben now over, Isabelle concentrates on trying to find Mason their son, Ben believes she needs to.move on with her life and mourn the loss of him but she won't rest until she finds out the truth. She can't sleep since that fateful night, frightened that if she does something else might happen .
Did not see the twist and turns coming a very unexpected ending. Thank you NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this I will be looking out for more from Stacy.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this new novel.
I was a bit hesistant to read this because of all the rave reviews (I was worried I would be disappointed) but I can gladly report: Everyone who loved it was right!
It was smart, twisty and nerv racking. The pace was on point and it kept on the edge of my seat. I just wanted the book to end so I could know what had happened! 😅

I loved this latest book called All the Dangerous Things by Stacy Willingham especially as it was a fast-paced thriller and a great page turner from start to finish with great twists and turns throughout.
One year ago, Isabelle Drake's life changed forever: her toddler son, Mason, was taken out of his crib in the middle of the night while she and her husband were asleep in the next room. With little evidence and few leads for the police to chase, the case quickly went cold.
However, Isabelle cannot rest until Mason is returned to her.
OMG a parents worst nightmare
Where is Mason? Who took him and why?
Why didn't they hear anything?
Isabelle can not sleep for a year now properly and she can only catnap
which is not doing her any good.
Isabelle's entire existence now revolves around finding her son, but she knows she can’t go on this way forever. She will do anything to find him and agrees to be interviewed by a true-crime podcaster—but his interest in Isabelle's past which only makes her nervous. Why?
His incessant questioning paired with her severe insomnia has brought up uncomfortable memories from her own childhood, making Isabelle start to doubt her recollection of the night of Mason’s disappearance, as well as second-guess who she can trust... including herself. But she is determined to figure out the truth no matter where it leads.
This Book was so good and the book cover was beautiful and very eye catching!

Wow. This was SUCH a good story. I loved the twists and really didn’t see any of them coming. With thrillers I’ve now stopped trying to guess and just go with the flow and I’m so glad I did with this one. You are constantly guessing if the MC is unhinged or whether she’s fully sane, it was so fun flirting between the 2 constantly. I loved the ending, it was so satisfying! Can’t wait to see what this author does next, one to watch for sure!
