Moira Jean has known very little of magic, until now. For instance she learns the Fae detest iron. And she needs this knowledge because the Fae have spirited her friends away, after a night of drinking and dancing outdoors, in a Scottish village. In order to save her friends, she has to make a bargain with their lord. Will she succeed? The reader will have to find out, because I recommend this book, and I will not say any more for fear of spoiling the novel. The author has created a strong character in Moira Jean and I enjoyed the development of that character.
