As friends and family gather for the funeral of charming and charismatic Seb Cooper, three women sit in the congregation, mourning his loss.
First there is Clair, Seb’s wife and partner of twenty years, and mother of his two children. Furious at Seb for dying and leaving their children without a father, Clair isn’t sure of her place, and has been left baffled and bemused by the conflicting stories of Seb’s last days.
Then there’s Desiree, the woman Seb left Clair for. Heartbroken, self-conscious, and wondering if she made a mistake coming today.
And the third and noisiest mourner of all is Noemie Seb’s lover and the last woman to see him alive.
Three women who loved Seb in their own different ways.
Three women whose lives have now changed forever.
But only one woman knows what really happened at the end and only one truly had his heart.
Really enjoyed this book totally recommend

As friends and family gather for the funeral of charming and charismatic Seb Cooper, three women sit in the congregation, mourning his loss, Clair, Desiree and Noemie.

Clair was his first wife and met Sam when they were 19 years old, together they built their lives and had too children. But life gets in the way and with Clair working long hours and looking after the home and kids, problems arose in their marriage. Next Sam meets Desiree through work and their attraction is instantaneous. This relationship works for many years with Desiree also becoming a big part of the children's lives. But eventually this relationship also ends, and Sam moves on with Noemie. I have to say this woman drove me insane and I found parts of her character very annoying and hard to relate to. Apart from a sexual attraction I really do not see what Sam saw in her. Sam hated the fact his father had affairs during his marriage to his mother and then despises parts of himself for doing the same in his life. Only time tells if Sam and his dad can get back to the kind of relationship they had when he was young. A tragedy will occur that will rock the world of all three women. I really enjoyed the majority of this book and the story moves along swiftly as we learn more about Sam and the women in his life.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book.

What a book!!!
When Sebastian Cooper does, the 3 loves of his life gather amongst the mourners at his funeral.
Which one did he truly love and what exactly happened to cause the death of this charasmatic man???

A book full of love and emotions which stays with the reader after the final page is read.

Loved this book The Three Loves of Sebastian Cooper. The suspense and plot twists throughout kept me up late reading more than one night! Heartbreak, love, family and fun are all present in this story spanning many years of Seb and his romantic life. I think I fell a little bit in love with him too. While it’s tragic it also gives hope and a refreshing take on love life and the challenges we face together. All together I would definitely recommend this page turner!

At Sebastian Coopers funeral we meet 3 women, his ex wife Clair, childhood sweetheart and mother to his 2 children, Desiree, his ex lover and Noemie his new love. The story takes us back throughout his life with alternate chapters to the funeral.
There are references to the day of his death it it's not until the end that we are told what happened but this doesn't detract from the story.
Zoë Folbigg has written this book in such a way that you love all the characters, bar one. I like her writing style. A really enjoyable read

`I did enjoy this book, as it was unique in terms of the storyline and despite wanting to hate Sebastian, I found myself liking him as the book went on. I did enjoy his story. The only character that I didn't like was Noemi as I found her frustratingly annoying, especially during the funeral chapters. The rest of the characters I enjoyed however.

I kind of wanted him to have reunited with Clair, as childhood sweethearts (obviously before he died).

The main critique that I had with this book was how long it was. It felt awfully drawn out for quite an anticlimactic ending. I thought the ending was going to be a big revelation about how Sebastian died and why.

But up until the ending, I thought the book was good.

Not sure you can describe a book as an enjoyable read when it’s set around a funeral and I definitely don’t think you can describe all three women as being Sebastian’s loves (his mother may qualify tho) that said it is an engaging book with interesting characters albeit a slow plot development

The Three Loves of Sebastian Cooper begins quite slowly - Sebastian and his family are introduced and his first love Clair.
The novel then moves to Sebastian's funeral where family, friends, and two other female characters are introduced - Desiree and Noemie.
The story slowly introduces the three women which were in Sebastian's life and the novel moves from past and present tense without confusing or losing the reader.
It's a tale of lies, love, and betrayal and its ending is quite heartbreaking.
A recommended read.

Thanks to Netgalley and the Publishers for the advanced copy of this.

I have just finished it, I have sat and read it this morning in the garden. I was so drawn into the timelines I could not put it down.
A five star from me without a doubt, loved the plot, the characters and the way it had me gripped.
Two of the loves - I wish to have a word with one and slap the other (3) which just shows how strong the writing is by the author as it has such an impact.

Highly recommended

We meet the family and friends of Sebastian (Seb) Cooper, gathered at his funeral and as the story goes on, we meet the loves of his life and take a trip into his past. The author introduces his children and family that shaped his life, while leading us all the way to his last days.

Both timelines in this really drew me in and the author kept me guessing as to how things would end. It was definitely a character driven novel and while I loved some of the characters, I equally loathed one of the 'loves'. Some stories have more of a cookie cutter ending and thankfully this one did not. It was realistic, joyful and sad in places and an enjoyable novel.

Thanks so much to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this gifted review copy.

Absolutely fantastic story. I loved loved LOVED this and read it in a matter of hours.
We meet the three loves of Sebastian Cooper at his funeral and through flashback we are told the complex tale of a man who has loved and lost throughout his life.
Not to give away major spoilers but I was / am FURIOUS with the third ‘love’ - was she really?! Eugh. What a horrible person. The author conjured such strong emotions in me toward this character which is a testament to her writing.

Brilliant book and would recommend highly.

Thanks to netgalley for the ARC of this book.
