the one thing i liked about it is how easy it was to get into! very easy to read so i feel like it could be a good palate cleanser between two heavy books

great premise for this novel, intriguing with a romantic love theme. A thought provoking second chance romance.

⭐️⭐️⭐️
I don’t think I have ever read an amnesia trope so that was a little new for me 🤪 This was a quick, easy read for me but there just wasn’t much here. I didn’t really love any of the characters, there wasn’t really much to the story..
I am not a huge fan of smut, so I really enjoyed this “fade to black” love story.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with this ARC in exchange for my honest review. I enjoyed this book thoroughly. I thought it was very cute and easy. It allowed for a nice, relaxing read. I loved Meyer and Archie and who doesn't love a second chance romance? With a twist.

I was immediately hooked on this book because of how likeable I found the FMC, Meyer, to be. She was funny and relatable despite being in a completely unrelatable situation to myself, and I couldn’t put the book down.
I’ve never read a book with an amnesiac ex-husband before so I found this to be a really unique take on what is essentially a second chance romance (a trope I rarely dislike). Meyer and Archie’s relationship (& marriage) wasn’t perfect by any means, but how they navigated their new situation was both entertaining and heartwarming.
I must say I loved that Meyer had her own jewellery business (like myself), and it was great to see her personal growth in standing up for what she wants out of life.
There were a couple of moments where I found the lack of communication to be frustrating, but overall I really enjoyed this book and I’m thinking of picking up another of Carina Taylor’s books!

Yeah, me either.
When my local hospital calls to tell me that my husband has been in an accident, I try to explain the basics to them.
1) I am not married—anymore. (Archie Dunmore is a thing of the past.)
2) If there’s a husband in the hospital, it’s not mine.
Except Archie is back, and he’s been in an accident. One that has left him with amnesia. Yup. He believes we’re still happily married. Oh joy.
Too bad for me, the doctor believes it would be best for Archie to remember things on his own. He needs familiar surroundings to heal.
No big shocks.
No emotional trauma.
Which means I can’t tell him the truth.
And so I bring my ex-husband home until I can figure out how to ship him safely home to Arizona. (If only my post office allowed live packages…)
Archie bursts back into my life with all the warmth and joy of a freshly married man, confident that I’m the love of his life, and determined to fix the rift between us.
Having a loving husband in my house is getting awkward. Especially when Archie is desperately trying to remember what I’ve worked so hard to forget.
How do I tell him that he walked out on me?
What’s a girl to do with an amnesiac ex-husband at her breakfast table?

Easy book that does not cause a lot of thought to it. It’s a good one sitting book for a palate cleanser. However the book did feel a bit rushed and I just couldn’t connect with the characters.

I always always appreciate fun romcoms. They make the day brighter and more fun. Like watching an awesome Drew Barrymore movie (even for the 100th time!). Loved it.

This book was such a fun ride. When Meyer gets a call letting her know her (ex) husband has been in an accident and has amnesia, she doesn't have a choice but to care for him until his memory returns, but that doesn't mean she can't mess with him a little bit.
I love a second chance romance, and this one hit the nail on the head (pun intended). There was great banter, angst, and plenty of tension. I was invested in the characters and their relationship and really rooted for them. The side characters were interesting and I'm hoping to see other books in this same town. I wish we could have gotten more detail about what led up to the split in the first place and I would have like to hear from Archie's pov in order to understand how he's grown since the split. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and have already recommended it to others.

This is an entertaining second chance romance. Meyer and her ex husband Archie have been divorced for a while, and she doesn’t keep up with his exploits. Unfortunately, he crashes his small plane and wakes up with amnesia. He thinks he’s still married and expects Meyer to act accordingly.
Having Archie back in the house at his most endearing proves very difficult, Meyer finds herself remembering the good times and their chemistry is rekindled. Could this be the start of a new chapter in their relationship?
I enjoyed this one, 4 stars.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed as in this review are completely my own.

I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.

I love the second chance romance aspect with amnesia thrown in the mix. I've read a few of Carina Taylor's books and this one was definitely worth reading!

I recommend you read this one if you enjoy second chance romances and amnesia plots.
This is a fun, easy and entertaining romance novel. I raced through this one, finishing it in just two sittings. This book starts with a bang, and I meant literally. We are thrown straight into this story with a plane coming crashing down in someone's backyard. What a way to make an entrance back into someone’s life.
I am always a sucker for a memory loss plot! Although in this case I do wish our MC Meyer went about things a little differently. I think if she was honest from the beginning and they worked things out together, it would have been a much more enjoyable read for me.
I don’t tend to read a lot of second chance romance novels but this book has convinced me that I need more! I really enjoyed seeing how the characters had changed and grown over their time apart. I loved seeing Archie’s new perspectives on things that once annoyed him after he had lost his memory.
On a final note, a few of the characters make rather questionable and unethical decisions that we just have to overlook for the sake of the plot. Especially the Dr. He should really think about his life choices.

I’m Forget me Twice, Carina Taylor takes readers on a captivating journey of love, deceit, and unexpected second chances. The story begins with a humorous and intriguing premise: the protagonist receives a call from a local hospital about her ex-husband's accident, only to realize that he has lost his memory and believes they are still married.
The plot delves into the complexities of this situation, as the protagonist grapples with her past, her feelings for her ex-husband, and the ethical dilemma of whether to reveal the truth. The character dynamics are expertly crafted, making it easy for readers to empathise with the predicament as she navigates the challenges of having her ex-husband back in her life.
Carina skillfully weaves humor and heartwarming moments throughout the narrative, creating a delightful blend of laughter and emotion. The interactions between the characters are both touching and comical, keeping readers engaged and eager to see how their relationship unfolds.
As the story progresses, the reader is taken on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, rooting for the characters to find their way back to each other while wondering if they should. The tension builds as the truth becomes increasingly difficult to conceal, leading to a series of unexpected twists and turns that keep the plot fresh and engaging.
Forget me Twice is a charming and witty exploration of love, forgiveness, and the power of second chances. Carina Taylor has crafted a delightful romantic comedy that will leave readers both entertained and reflective. If you're looking for a heartwarming and humorous read with a unique premise, this book is a must-read.

I have flown through this book this afternoon - such an enjoyable read! 😍
A year after her divorce from husband Archie, Meyer receives a phone call to say that he has had an accident and that she needs to come to the hospital immediately. Meyer tries to explain that they are no longer married but no one seems to listen so off she heads to the hospital, with no idea of how much her life is about to change. Because Archie has amnesia following the plane crash, and he doesn’t remember that last two years of his life - which includes the divorce. Doctor Sharpe advises Meyer to let Archie’s memories return at their own pace, which puts Meyer in the difficult position of having to go along with the idea that they are still happily married - something they haven’t been for a long time.
Meyer very quickly realised that she might never have fallen out of love with Archie, but what will happen when and if he finally remembers? Will he leave her all over again? And can she face that heartbreak a second time round?
I loved the concept of this book! It was a really refreshing take on a second chance romance. Lots of complicated feelings were explored and I really empathised with Meyer in particular. Lots of fun moments, both of the main characters were really witty. A good cast of secondary characters too, especially Margaret who really made me giggle! I also really liked the way that Meyer and Archie were able to acknowledge and understand where things had gone wrong in the past, and that responsibility was taken from both sides.
A really enjoyable, easy read that has brightened my afternoon!

The banter>>>>>
