When I read the synopsis, I was intrigued by the plot. Meyer receiving a call that her husband has had an accident, when she’s divorced and it’s her ex-husband, immediately signalled a second chance romance perhaps?
Still listed as his next of kin, Meyer learns her ex-husband has amnesia and thinks they’re still married. Queue the SCR to commence. It was interesting to read and see whether Archie believed they were divorced. I found this similar to “You Deserve Each Other” so if you liked that book, you’d probably enjoy this one too.

This book was cute, heartwarming and full of humour! Reading it was so fun and I was still thinking about Meyer and Archie even after I’d finished!
The plot was interesting and had me hooked from the moment it started! I’m not normally a sucker for the amnesia plot, but I absolutely loved it here! I loved seeing them mature and talk through problems that they’d had to rekindle their love for each other!
Archie was SO sweet and the way he was with Meyer was so cute. I felt that they were absolutely perfect for each other and the way they matched each others banter was amazing!

What would you do if your exhusband got into an accident and has amnesia… and only remembers being happily married to you?
I fell in love with Meyer and Archie, while he had amnesia. But towards the end, I started to feel like the story was dragging on for no reason. Her earring business, Archie’s amnesia play, the random “I can’t stand up for myself” act. It was a lot. Also, never really understood why they got divorced or how they got back together. It was just something that was there with no explanation. I did enjoy most of this book though.
Thanks to Netgalley and Victory Editing Co-op for the eArc in exchange for an honest review!

Meyer is super confused when she gets a phone call saying that her husband has been in a car accident. She is no longer married to Archie, but for some reason she is still listed as his emergency contact. Archie should remember that they are no longer married, but the doctor shares that he has amnesia and that Meyer can not just tell him how things were, that he needs to remember them on his own. Archie moves back in with Meyer and is insistent that they were a happy couple, but Meyer is not so sure he doesn't remember the truth after all.

Meyer Dunmore’s ex-husband literally crashes back into her life a year after their divorce. When a plane accident causes Archie Dunmore to lose 2 years of memories, he thinks he is still blissfully married to Meyer, who is still listed as his emergency contact despite their parting. Saddled with an unwanted amnesiac ex-husband, Meyer has no choice but to bring him home to a familiar environment for recuperation as per the doctor’s advice.
I see the second chance romance trope and I pick it up. Written entirely in first person from the perspective of Meyer (with the exception of the Prologue), we are brought through a roller coaster of emotions along with Meyer as she receives that puzzling phone call from the hospital concerning her husband, to the stunning realisation that he’s been in an accident and has amnesia, to having to play host to an ex-husband who thinks they’re happily married AND being put in a difficult position of withholding the truth because the doctor said no big shocks for Archie.
I commiserate with Meyer as she struggles to come to terms with the sudden reappearance of Archie in her life as a loving husband, which wars with the pain and anguish of their divorce. There is some character growth for Meyer as she learns to speak up for what she truly wants instead of going along with what other people want, and it was lovely for Archie to be supporting her in that. But when it came to their relationship issues, I would have liked to see them actively trying to work out the problems that led to the divorce - what was wrong, and what could have been done better, etc. The ending felt a little rushed.
All in all, this is a pleasant read, especially if you enjoy second chance romance.
Thank you Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op and NetGalley for the e-ARC.

When I read the synopsis of this book I was immediately interested in the concept. An accident where your ex-husband suffers amnesia and thinks you are still happily married? The book was very funny, and I even felt stress for Meyer at some points 😂 This was a cute second chance romance book and I really liked the characters in it. It was also really fast paced! No longer than it needed to be. What I did miss were the spicy scenes

Such a quick and fun read for second-chance romance lovers!
If you enjoy marriage reconciliation books Forget Me Twice will be the book for you. After being divorced for over a year, Archie Dunmore, Meyers's ex-husband comes back. Well... he actually ends up in a hospital with a significant head injury, forgetting everything that happened in the last 365 days of his life, including the fact that he is no longer married.
After being advised by his doctor to reduce his stress and let him recover naturally, Archie is back home and Meyers is definitely in a pickle. How does one live with her ex-husband while pretending everything is okay?
This was super silly and fun. I loved the little twist in the end.
Perhaps my only critique is that at times it was too cheesy.

I was immediately drawn to this book by the storyline. Meyer and Archie have been divorced for a year when he is in an accident and gets amnesia, forgetting the last 2 years of his life.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So what do you do when your ex shows back up in your life thinking that you’re still happily married?? You get this great story!

This was a very quick read and kept me engaged and wanting to know what would happen next.

Thanks, NetGalley for the ARC. This book was such an easy read. It was well-paced. I was supposed to finish this in just a day but I got sick. But this was the story I couldn't forget ever since I have to refrain myself from reading. But I love this read! I kept turning page after page. The characters are so quirky. This a well-deserve second chance romance!! One of the best I've read this year for this trope!

The premise of the book was original. I felt like there wasn’t much growth throughout the novel. They just started shacking up again and all of a sudden both want to get back together. Regardless, I loved it. It piqued my interest and I was able to finish it within a day. I’ll definitely continue to read her work.

Such a cute second chance romance!
When Archie comes crashing back into Meyer’s life, she’s not ready. Even worse, he is suffering from memory loss of the last two years, which means he doesn’t remember that they’re now divorced. Under doctor’s orders, she doesn’t break the news and instead lets him live with her as if nothing has changed. It’s tough, but what else is she supposed to do? And when is Archie going to remember why he was coming to see her in the first place?
This story is a cute, easy read that satisfies the desire to know what’s going to happen. I enjoyed it!

Merel is shocked to get a call from the local hospital saying her husband has been in an accident. Shocking because she has no husband, only an ex who now lives in another state. Turns out it is her ex who has (hopefully) temporary amnesia. She’s forced to babysit him until his mom can fly in to take him home.
This book was so cute! Loved the main characters and the tricks they played on each other. It was a really fun quick and sweet read.

I was looking for a quick book to read and that is exactly what I got with Forget me Twice. I thought it was so sweet and I really loved how neither Meyer or Archie tried to blame the other for their problems. I do feel like “the fight” wasn’t that big of a deal, though, and shouldn’t have led to a divorce, but with how young and immature they were at the time, it does make sense that something so little could cause them to break up so easily!
I really adored Archie and Meyer and I’m hopeful that we will get to see a book with Kingston and Willa or a book with Tripp. I would love to see all of these characters again.
Thank you Victoria Editing, NetGalley, and Carina Taylor for the e-ARC.

It was a good book and the premise was good. The age surprised me because I thought it would be a younger, but a good read none the less.

Thank you @netgalley and @victoryeditingngc for this ARC of @carinataylorauthor 's new book!
“Our hands are now linked together by a strong electric current. He looks perfectly relieved while I'm busy battling a tornado inside my chest.” 😩
This was such a sweet, quick and fun read! I'll honestly say this is my first second-chance book I've ever read and this left me wanting more of that 🙈 I couldn't imagine losing time out of your memories and especially finding myself in a predicament like Meyer did - I'm pretty sure I would've blabbed where we truly stood within the first hour 🤣 no self control, sorry 😮💨 The character development for Meyer was nice to see and show how she stands up for herself.
I would've loved to see more depth to their dilemma and facing their issues head on and the struggles that they endured as any relationship in a divorced situation would be found in - especially if they both said it wasn't ended in good terms.
Overall, I truly enjoyed getting to peek into the lives of Meyer and Archie. A perfect book for a rainy day and wanting something sweet 🥰

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an early copy of this book! Below is my honest review.
Rating: 3.5 stars out of 5 stars
Summary:
Archie and Meyer are divorced—have been for over a year—and live separately. Until one day, Archie is back in Oregon where Meyer loves. And guess who has amnesia from a plane crash? That’s right. Archie. And who guess can’t remember their divorce? That’s right. Archie again. Meyer has to take care of him, but finds herself wishing they were a couple again.
Thoughts on the book:
This book is an average romance book—nothing stuck out to me as making me love it. I enjoyed seeing Archie and Meyer joke around and prank each other. I also liked how we saw Meyer grow as a person (to some extent) outside of her relationship with Archie.
I guess the only downside of this book is that I don’t think the couple REALLY addressed the reasons for why they broke up. The issues were kinda brushed over. And this is important to me at least because if the issues were so bad that Archie and Meyer needed a divorce, then they should have had more than a simple conversation before getting back together.
Overall, I enjoyed most of this book. Also, I want to say that I don’t think that I like amnesia romance books very much. So do with that information what you will.
Would I recommend this book? Sure.

I thought this was very cute! I adore a good second change romance and I thought this one was gone about in such a fun, unique way!
There was only one thing I really felt “eh” about. I would have liked to see some more references to each main characters past self, if only to solidify just how much they have both grown. I felt like it’s mentioned quite a bit but I didn’t have a ton of references to back it up and make me believe it. Especially where Archie was concerned, he really didn’t seem all that different to me when comparing to the references of his past self.

Forget Me Twice is a second chance romance with a unique plot, that I loved. I was thoroughly enthralled with the characters’ journey throughout and was desperate to uncover what had happened to separate this couple.
The suspense leading up to the flashback, of the pinnacle fight, is perfectly written and leaves the reader intrigued and eager to uncover more. I was slightly disappointed with the reveal of the cause of the separation: I suspected from the build-up that it was going to be more to it.
I adored Margaret’s character and the creative decision to write the prologue from her perspective.
I do have to admit that Willa and Kingston’s involvement and 'relationship' is vague, underdeveloped and personally left the reader somewhat confused. Nevertheless, Meyer and Archie’s story is written so beautifully that I would recommend this book to anyone who is after the perfect second chance romance.

5 stars for DNF as I am unable to comment on the overall quality of the book. I was drawn to this novel because of the premise. I love the "amnesia" trope in thrillers and was interested to see how it played out in a romcom. Unfortunately I found the writing too clunky, which impacted the flow of the book. With a bit of editing, this could be a really fun and enjoyable read, but I struggled with emotionally connecting to the book and its characters. Thank you for the opportunity to read this book before publication.

Thank you to NetGalley for letting me read an eARC in exchange for an honest review!
When I read the blurb, I was really excited. I have not read many books with the amnesia trope and I was curious to see how the story was going to go. But sadly, I didn’t really love this book. It lacked a lot of depth. This is a second chance romance for a divorced couple, and so I expected there to be some angst and tension between the two. Yet, we didn’t get any of that. We don’t really find out what led to their separation until the final 5 chapters and the reason was still pretty vague.
I didn’t hate this book, but I was just hoping that the characters were given a little bit more dimension.
