This one was super cute! I'd originally picked it up a few weeks ago, but ended up pausing it because I had library books to get through. I picked it back up tonight, and I immediately fell back into it. Meyer and Archie were adorable together, and their cat, Gatsby, was the star of the show. My one complaint would be that this wasn't long enough, as I could've spent way more pages with these characters. I'd recommend this one!

Firstly I’d like to thank the publisher and NetGalley for the eARC 🥰❤️
Forget Me Twice is the story of Meyer, Archie and Archie’s broken brain!! Mayer and Archie have been divorced for 2 years when he crash lands back in her life. Literally!! His plane crashes back in town and causes him head trauma that leaves him with amnesia. Now he’s completely forget their divorce and any fighting and thinks they’re happily married and all loved up and, as per the doctor’s advice, Meyer goes along with it!! What could go wrong? You know, apart from catching feeling again that is…
I do love Meyer, she’s a total badass and a brilliant MC to base the story around!! Forget Me Twice is the most extra romantic book ever and if you fancy a bit of a lift then definitely pick this book up, it’ll definitely cheer you up!! It was just a little too cheesy for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Forget Me Twice is a quick and fun read, meant for the second-chance romance fans out there! The book tells the adorable story of Meyer and Archie, a young and divorced ex-couple that sees their lives turning upside down when Meyer receives a call saying that her husband has been in an accident…Only she’s not married anymore, but Archie has now lost his memory and forgot to be divorced. As the story of the book goes through, we get to see their interactions and how their feelings are a bigger trap than the whole amnesia thing.
It was my first book by the author and it was sure enjoyable, great to read. Still, I need to say that it’s a fast-paced novel, so it feels a little rushed sometimes, and I kinda was anticipating some major conflict between the protagonists—since they’re divorced and all—, which never happened. Also, the reason for their divorce wasn't explained until the last chapters, so don't go reading it expecting some big revelation because even when it happens, it still feels a little confusing. But anyways, it is a good book and definitely a great pick if you like the second-chance trope, that is!
Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

“I love you, Meyer Dunmore. And I’m so glad you’re my wife.” 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙄’𝙢 𝙣𝙤𝙩.”
I loved this and couldn’t put it down. The prologue absolutely hooked me and this story is probably one of the most unique I’ve ever read. How Archie *literally* came crashing back into Meyer’s life was the perfect setup to get these two exes back together! Forced proximity and faking that you’re still married to the other person to protect their fragile mind?! Sign me up. This made for hilarious banter and funny/awkward moments.
While this story was hilarious at its core, it also had some serious parts that I really appreciated. Finding out how Meyer and Archie got divorced in the first place broke my heart and you could really feel Meyer’s pain. But it was also so beautiful to see how much she grew as a person. Archie and Meyer had amazing chemistry so it was hard to understand at first why they got divorced and it made me root for them so hard. Archie is such a flirt and the way he was just gone for Meyer…🫠🫠🫠. There are so many revelations as the story goes on that made this so bingeable and are much better experienced for yourself. Some other gems in this story were Margaret, Gatsby, the avocado keychain, and Dr. Sharpe. The epilogue was the perfect icing on the cake!
Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced copy. My thoughts are my own.

Fun!
Premise is amazing on its own, but matched with the laugh-out-loud storyline, it's great! This was a fun read for me!
I would rate this PG-13 for mild innuendo and some partial states of undress.

This has been a trip! I have to say that it took me little to get into the story but at the same time no time at all to fall in love with the characters. I can't explain how much I love the two of them and their tension! But even though Meyer and Archie were fun, Margaret and Gatsby were my favorite characters. Nothing gets me more than an old matchmaking lady and a very cute cat.
The writing style was so easy to follow and just overall so nice to read whenever I had the time (or I hadn't had the time but kept staying up for way to long because I coulnd't put the book down).
There were some scenes that felt kinda unneccessary to me (yes, I'm talking to you "peeing in the forest"-scene), but it was just an overall so enjoyable read that made me laugh a lot.

What an absolutely SPLENDID romcom!! I whole-heatedly adored every moment of this sweet second chance romance❤️ I was a bit nervous going into it as I’ve never read a book with the amnesia trope before, but Carina Taylor made this novel totally non-cliche and wove some really great central themes into the plot line.
What I loved most about this story was seeing Meyer learn to start standing up for herself. One of the thoughts Meyer has in the book is “I’m learning the importance of no and the power it has.” I really appreciated this character development because it is something I too struggle with.
And y’all, the ROMANCE. What do you do when your hubby who broke your heart a year ago starts acting like a happily married and totally in-love hubby due to amnesia? READ TO FIND OUT😆😍😍 Archie has some off-the-charts swoony moments in this book and I was HERE for it👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I mean, the kitchen scene…😍🔥 I can’t say anymore, other than READ IT FOLKS!!
And I simply can’t end this review without talking about 87 year-old meddling Margaret. Margaret MADE this book. There’s something about a small town matchmaker that just DOES IT for me!! You can’t read Margaret’s lines without bursting into a giggling fit. I DARE YOU TO TRY🤣
Also, Gatsby’s shenanigans were a GREAT TIME!! I’m now reserving the name Gatsby for a future pet because I just loved the way it sounded!
Solid 5🌟 romcom!!
🚨CW: closed-door romance with light/no language!!! Very clean!

This book has a clever and unique premise - - for a woman to be left caring for her ex husband when he develops amnesia and doesn't remember they're no longer married. It's definitely a complication that no one could have foreseen.
Meyer was left behind when Archie left town following their divorce. She was heartbroken but is trying to move on with her life. Then he's back and she's being told to let him "remember" naturally and to not tell about his memory loss. Of. course, spending so much time with Archie isn't good. It only serves to make Meyer punchy.
Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC. I voluntarily chose to read and review it and th opinions contained with in are my own.

This was an easy, fast read that I breezed through in a sitting. It's a really good premise for a book and I think it could be better if it was dual pov.

I have not read a lot of the amnesia trope so this is a welcome. I enjoyed Archie and Meyer's story. You can feel the love they have for each other but still, they needed to get a divorce in order to realise it again. But unfortunately, Archie had amnesia. So they had another chance to work on their issues.

Read if you enjoy a second chance romance!
Meyer and Archie thought they said goodbye forever after finalizing their divorce, that was until they came crashing back into one another’s lives. After a year of seemingly blissful separation, Archie crashes his plane and suffers from amnesia - forgetting the last two years of his life. With Meyer still listed as his emergency contact, she quickly gets pulled back into the past - caring for a husband who was now technically her ex.
Would this provide them with a second chance, or simply an opportunity to relive the past?
Review Insight: I would have enjoyed greater buildup in the story line. The reason for the breakdown of their marriage was lacklustre. While undoubtably a creative premise, both of the main characters were quick to forgive. I would argue things are not as black and white in a real world reconciliation.
Constructive criticism aside, author Carina Taylor did a fantastic job drawing you in from the start - making this a great weekend read. Written from the perspective of Meyer, the banter between characters was absolutely light hearted and enjoyable.
If you are looking for something to break up heaver reads, this will certainly put a smile on your face!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

When I say I devoured this book, I truly mean it. I spent my Sunday afternoon loving this romance story between the formerly married couple - with the husband suffering from amnesia and believing they’re still together. There were funny and heart warming moments which I totally loved too.

this was a cute and heartwarming story, it got me back into memory lane from the time sophia kinsella was the queen of this trope. it was funny and entertaining everything I was waiting for!

Synopsis:
Archie broke Meyer’s heart when he left a year ago. Meyer is called to the hospital to get Archie from the emergency room. As a result of a plane crash, Archie has amnesia and lost two years of memory and thinks they are still married. No memory of their divorce. With his mind in such a fragile state, it was advised that it was best to heal on its own. Meaning Meyer also has to live in the past along with Archie. What’s a girl to do with an amnesiac ex-husband at her breakfast table?
Thoughts:
A cute and light hearted second chance romance. It is a single narration by Meyer and I love that we get to see her struggles with caring for the man that she tried so hard to forget. It emphasizes the highs and lows of relationships and how communication is key to making it work. I would’ve loved to see more depth to the issue that lead to their divorce and more problem solving. But nonetheless, it was a good read with some loveable characters.
This is a recommendation for sweet romance readers who wants a heart warming story for a couple that gets a second chance at their happily ever after.

Colby Mills once felt destined for a musical career, but tragedy grounded his dreams. Now the dust has settled, he spontaneously takes a gig playing at a bar in Florida, seeking a rare break from his duties at home.

Carina Taylor brought to life a cute romance novel. She was able to convey the chemistry between Meyer and Archie, showcasing that through all the banter (I love a good banter) there is always that spark that ignites when two people find each other! I love the journey they both took and the growth. I wish we could see more into their past and what let to their divorce, but overall I loved this hilariously light romance that is sure to sweeten your day!
I recommend this book to readers that love second chance romances.

Meyer's ex husband Archie has been in an accident and is suffering from temporary amnesia. He's forgotten their divorce and thinks they're still a loving couple. The doctor recommends she avoid saying anything that will shock Archie, and that she humor him until he gets his memory back. Can she risk losing her heart to him again?
This book grabbed me from the first page. It's quirky and funny with vibrant characters. There's a ton of chemistry between Meyer and Archie. The plot is engaging and never lagged.
Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

This one is such a cute fun story. I managed to fly through as it was an easy read. The MC is a relatable woman and very likeable, like all of the characters. It was slightly predictable with the HEA but sometimes that just what you want to read

Forget Me Twice is a fantastic romcom by Carina Taylor. I’ve been a fan of Carina Taylor ever since I read her novel World’s Worst Boyfriend. So I was very excited to hear about this book and it did not disappoint.
This book is a fun second chance romance with an amnesiac ex-husband. I enjoyed seeing how Meyer and Archie were able to rediscover the romance. I had to laugh at the different excuses Meyer had to keep coming up with to keep Archie from kissing her and all of his physical touch.
Probably the one thing I didn’t love was the lying that happened towards the end. But besides this I really enjoyed the book.

This is feels like a reverse marriage of convenience story in the best way! It was a fun and super cute read. A true Rom-Com.. The plot is so unique and sucks you right in. I was so excited for this book and it delivered. Meyer and Archie were once madly in love but after being married for a couple of years, they divorced. When Archie gets into an accident, he loses his recent memories and believes he is still married. Despite their turbulent history, Meyer helps Archie recover and has to pretend like she hasn’t lived through their big fight and subsequent divorce. Meyer and Archie were so much fun to follow. The banter and chemistry these two had was top tier. It is a second chance romance but is low angst and it makes for an enjoyable read. There was a lot of buildup and expectation regarding their big fight and when it was revealed it fell a little flat BUT this book is like the warmth and comfort of a hallmark movie so it works. Also, no one does an epilogue like Carina Taylor. They are the best and always feel like the perfect ending. I know she said this was a stand-alone but PLEASE. The character building was amazing and I need a Willa and Kingston story. Those two are 🔥
