Even though I didn't finish it I gave it one star as the writing was good I just struggled to get into the story

Thank you to Netgalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
A well-written thriller, great characters, good plot. A recommended read.

Emily follows her two timing boyfriend to a bar and is dumped. Immediately he or humiliation is followed by a series of events that she couldn’t possibly have imagined.
A geeky guy tries to pick her up, Her car breaks down, there is no phone signal so she can’t call a taxi and is therefore forced to walk home.
The fact that it is 28 miles and she is not a walker doesn’t put her off - all a bit implausible to me - but a journey from hell ensues as she is pursued by a man intent on harming her.
There is a lot of action along the way, most of which was pretty far fetched, so whilst I quite enjoyed the read it was all a bit over the top

I received a free copy from Netgalley all opinions are my own.
So Emily really annoyed me. Most of the characters annoyed me.
It's an easy read, but it definitely wasn't enjoyable.
The book description is so interesting and the book cover looks so good, so I'm quite sad to be so disappointed by this book.
I felt like I wasted my time reading this.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read I Won't Let You Go by Cole Baxter.
I had very high hopes for this book, as I have previously read another Cole Baxter book, which I absolutely loved, however I just couldn't get on with this book. It felt like such a contrast to the other Cole Baxter book which I had read.
I wasn't that intrigued by the plot either.

Yesterday, was my spot on ZooloosBookTours for I Won’t Let You Go by Cole Baxter. This psychological thriller is published by Inkubator books, and I read it as an ebook for this tour. I’m so glad that I took part on this blog tour as I really enjoyed reading this tense, thrilling, exciting and suspenseful thriller. I could feel the terror of the lone woman walking for miles in the dark woods and the side of the highway while trying to escape and run for her life. This sounded terrifying, but it was an excellent psychological thriller and I simply love reading thrillers. They are my favourite genre to read.
This novel was a relatively quick read. Still, it was fast-paced and action-packed. It was the kind of novel that you don’t want to put down until you’ve finished it. I liked the author’s thrilling writing style, the character development and finding out what happens to the main characters as the story unfolds. It was a very clever and terrifying psychological thriller, and made very good reading. I’m giving this novel 4 stars as I liked it and I’m sure that other readers will like it too.

Book description sounded really good but in my opinion it didnt live up to it. Sorry but this one wasnt for me.
Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC

Tonight will be the longest night of Emily’s life. It may also be the last.
Emily is devastated when she receives an anonymous note proving her long-term boyfriend has been cheating on her.
Determined to confront him, she tracks him to a seedy bar far off the highway and they have a massive row. As she storms out the door, she rejects a stranger named Daniel who tries to pick her up.
When she returns to her car, it won’t start. Even worse, her phone has no signal, and no way is she going back into the bar to ask her boyfriend for help.
Emily has no choice but to walk. As she trudges down the desolate highway, Daniel drives by and offers her a ride. She’s scared by his sudden reappearance and refuses him again.
But Daniel won’t take no for an answer. As Emily walks on, he keeps coming back and each time he is more threatening, more menacing. As this terrifying game of cat and mouse steadily escalates, Emily begins to wonder if she’ll ever get off this lonely road alive.
But who is Daniel really? And what does he know about Emily?
What a thrilling read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.
Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Wow this was dark, gory and gritty! Great cast of characters that kept me totally involved in the story.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book

Emily receives a note telling her that her boyfriend is unfaithful, she tracks him down and has a fight with him and when she leaves her car will not start and a man called Daniel offers her a ride. Daniel will not give up, following her as she walks away.
This book has a good premise but the writing doesn’t match it, repetitive and dull with no suspense.

This book sounded amazing from the description, and I couldn't wait to read it.
However...it was dull and repetitive. Not very enjoyable...
Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the advanced copy of the book.

An anonymous note and photo is slid under Emily's door. This is how she finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her.
She tracks his phone to a bar in a small town close by, speeds there and confronts him.
As she is leaving, a man accosts her and asks her for a date and she rejects him. She tries to leave, but her car won't start, so she starts walking the 30 miles back to Edmonton, where she lives. The man seems to be following her and verbally abusing her, driving off and returning. This is the worst night of her life.
I have never read Cole Baxter's books, and after wading through this one, I am not sure I want to read more.
The writing is not great, it is repetitive and boring, and the story is very boring. In my opinion words were only used to make up the word count.
Emily, the main character, is a moaning Minnie, with no real personality or character. Daniel, the stalker is unbelievable. The Police, when they finally show up, barely ask questions and are inept.
I would not have bothered finishing this book if I did not promise to provide an honest review.
I only give 2 stars because I did not find any spelling mistakes, but the grammar could use a lot of work.

I Won't Let You Go by Cole Baxter.

A really creepy read. I didn't trust Daniel. He gave me goosebumps. I liked Emily. 5*.

Going in to this book I was so excited to read it. The premise seemed so exciting and I wasn't disappointed. It's thrilling and suspenseful. I will say it took a good while for the story to pick up and some of the earlier chapters didn't do much for me. Overall really enjoyed it.

Holy hell what a book!!!!!!
I don't want to give anything away as this book had me HOOKED! This is a psychological thriller unlike any I have ever read. My adrenaline was PUMPING with this one. I am hoping that this will become a movie because it was THAT intense and crazy!
This was my first book I've read by Cole Baxter but it will most definitely NOT be my last!!

Just finished this book and i would like to tell you only one thing.
I don't recommend this book.
It was monotonous, without any actual story, world building or pace and even characters were also dull.
I never felt concern for character even once and was not at all terrified by the killer.
So i dnfd it after 80 percent.
And those 80 percent took ally sanity. Every scenes felt rushed and not accounted for 😮💨

What an intense and creepy read this book is It's a mysterious suspense thriller that held my attention throughout. It's a tense game of cat and mouse. This is a fast paced read that the action takes place over one night. There's twist and turns throughout. The characters were well developed, and I did like Emily, even though she has some issues. This is my first read by the author, but it won't be my last.
I would like to thank #NetGalley #InkubatorBooks and the author #ColeBaxter for my ARC of #IWontletyougo in exchange for an honest review.

I had a hard time with this. I love a psycho going after some poor innocent person who has to out smart them to save themselves but this really missed the mark. Emily, the innocent protagonist, was kind of dumb and made rather dumb decisions. And the psycho was soooooo cliche. Not my cup of tea.

This was a creppy and intense read that had me gripped right from the start and on the edge of my seat the whole way through. Fast paced and sadly believeable, this could actually be a stroy straight from a true crime documentary. I loved it,

During a nightmare night our protagonist is mercilessly pursued by a psychopath.
The book is intense and intriguing but at times, the thoughts of Emily, the protagonist, detract from the pace of the narrative. That said, it is an entertaining and addictive novel.
