Very funny, well put together and very apt currently in the UK with the state of the Tory Party.

An ideal present or stocking filler.

These are serious, gloomy times and the world is probably in need of more funny books. This one perhaps isn't quite as funny as we might have hoped but it is a reasonable attempt. It's basically a long series of multiple choice questions written in the style of a Driving Theory test to assess potential Tory voters to see whether they have the correct outlook and attitudes.
For example:
'Altruism is:
a) The singe biggest threat to capitalism since Karl Marx returned his toaster to Argos
b) A treatable form of mental illness
c) 3rd Party insurance
d) What paramedics are overpaid for'
It's like that! You see? It helps if you are a) not actually a Tory and b) Don't actually try to answer the questions properly (note: I didn't really "get" the 3rd Party Insurance' one. Did you?)
Anyway, I don't know who Dr. Flawhammer is but whoever they are, I wish them well. Writing amusingly isn't easy as I've certainly proven here.

Not my humour...or maybe I'm too disgusted by tories to be able to make fun while they are still in power.
Some quizzes made me smile with a grimace but none made me laugh.

I don't know. Definitely has an audience out there, but this is a book to flick through before gifting to someone who hates tories (or maybe you are unfortunate enough to have a tory in your life and this will help them see the error of their ways!)

I dislike tories with a passion and whilst a few of the quizzes made me smile none really made me laugh out loud unfortunately as anything that makes people think how on earth did we get here is worth it in my opinion

What a great book this is. It could actually be the manual that the Tories use before going into and while they are in office and has been leaked. Everything is in there, the Union, BLM, Freedom of Speech, Food banks, immigrants you name it, this book covers it all. There is specific advice should you become Culture Secretary that made me smile as did the definition options of Black Rod.

The hazard awareness section just wow. I really enjoyed this book apart from just how true it is ( not the books fault)
