There were bits of this I found really useful, and bits that I found quite contradictory. Let's start with the positives:
- There was a lot of interesting tidbits about self-talk, where worries come from, and goal-setting,
- The explanations are scientific without being condescending or going over the reader's head,
- I enjoyed the focuses on nature, as well as the importance of passion.
However:
- There were elements of "hustle culture" in the book that seemed contradictory to the importance of nature and passion "whatever your interest is, find out how to you can start to earn money from it".
- It seems to lose a little bit of structure further into the book (around chapter six) and there are moments where arguments seem to be more streams of thought than chapters - which is fine, it's just a change in structure from the rest of the book.
My final point would be that it may have just been my epub copy, but again, from around chapter six it needs a glance over, with random capital letters in titles, neckless instead of necklace etc.
Beyond excited to acquire this title and have it at our location. I along with pretty much everyone am always looking for ways to rid myself of bad habits and start settings patterns to achieve my goals to developing good positive ones and keeping them that way. I love the way the books is broken down into topics. My particular favorite ones are How to adopt the habit of enjoying your life forever & How to stop the habit of blaming others and take complete responsibility for you. it was clearly written in an easy to understand format and I flew through it. Can’t recommend it enough!
