DK and history are a match made in heaven and once again they have come out with a lovely history book to broaden the knowledge of anybody that reads it, well anybody that isn't an expert on Indian history anyway!

This is definitely an area of history that I have very little knowledge of, other than the very basics regarding the British occupation and the times the Mongol Empire came into touch with them!

The wonderful combination of illustrations and images brings the pages to life and helps you to navigate and explore the various timelines that cover many different aspects of Indian history. This is a great read for anybody, young or old, that wants to further their knowledge in a country that is often neglected in school history classes!

This was fascinating, even the children enjoyed it (even though it told them it was about history, and educational). A great tour through Indian history and politics.
