Possibly the most thought provoking book I’ve read this year (maybe ever.) Any provides a modern take on motherhood, family life and a woman’s right to choose. She explores topics in a wonderful writing style from her POV that gives a very intimate feel to the book. I know I’ll be thinking about this for years to come.
The premise was great but I just could not get into this book, It was an interesting read but there was just something missing that I cannot put my finger on it. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for a review.
This was an enjoyable read with a compelling and strong storyline and well developed characters. It took me a while to get my brain to ignore the errors within the text but it didn't bother me as I knew they are proofs. I read this quickly and couldn't put it down.
There are so many typos in this galley I could not finish it. I know this is a proof, but I have never seen so many errors in one place. I will try to continue as it is a strong story, but it is difficult with all the typos.
