This is an amazing book that everyone should read. It's full of helpful information to help save the birds. It's an eye-opening read about how the bird population is declining and what we can do to help. This book is a MUST READ for all bird lovers.

The book cover and title intrigued me as it's not the normal type of book I'd pick out. I had heard of the Christmas Bird Count, but I'd never heard to Dr. Frank M. Chapman. This book was well researched and well written and provided insight not only into Dr. Chapman's life, but his love of birds, the environment and humanity. I've already told several bird loving friends about the book and think this would make a great gift for bird lovers, history buffs and environmentalists. Great Read.
