Love the first Kasper Ridge book and this is just as good too. The best thing that I like about this one is the big cast of characters. They are fun and outrageous. The single dad Mateo and fighter pilot Annalee got stranded together.... Love the kid especially.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.

As a fan of this author, I was thrilled to receive an ARC of this book. This is part of the Kasper Ridge series, and while I read it as a stand-alone, I think it’s better to read this in the correct reading order. Parts of this read are fun, others hard. Lots of emotions in these pages.

Kasper Ridge is full of characters that have great connections and support each other. Lots of characters! The attraction between Mateo and Annalise Monroe is fun to read. I'm not really sure their relationship and chemistry was everything it could have been, but it is steamy!

I always enjoy how this author writes single dads. It is easy to connect with the struggles of these dads, trying to maneuver through their loss and move on.

Overall, I enjoyed this story. Again, I recommend reading this book in the correct reading order to get the most from the story and characters.

My free ARC was provided by Victory Editing Netgalley Co-op, and I voluntarily leave this review.

He’s a single dad and she a world traveling fighter jet pilot; they come from two different worlds with two different priorities but the magnetic pull they feel towards each other only intensifies when they get snowed in. It was just supposed to be a day hike out and back to check on the backcountry cabins but a freak snowstorm causes them to take shelter for a few days where they learned so much more about each other than they ever expected too. But are their differences too much or will they bring them more together?

Only A Crush is the second book in the Kasper Ridge series featuring single dad Mateo and fighter pilot Annalee, call sign Monroe. Mateo was the first person to truly see Annalee as Annalee and not Monroe, the hotshot fighter pilot persona she shares with the world. Mateo’s daughter is spunky and adorable and helped the crew with some critical clues regarding the treasure hunt. The third book in the series will feature Brainiac (Harrison), his task of getting the ski lifts up and running and hopefully the discovery of the treasure.

Thank you @netgalley and publishers for this eARC in exchange for my honest feedback.

This series makes me so happy, and it gets better each book! There was romance, humor, adventure, and fun. But this book had so many precious (and heartbreaking) moments from Annalee’s and Mateo’s past that will stick with me. Lily is the cutest child and made me laugh and cry. Also, the plane ride. That’s all. 😂
