Please write more books together, this one is sexy audiobook perfection and these two narrators were spot on for it! 👏👏👏
This is the sexiest Christmas book for the year and should be a must on your seasonal book list!

This got steamy all sooner than l had expected. Never meless I really enjoyed. Definitely not an audiobook for the car but a great story and something refreshingly unexpected. Thank you to the publisher for an advanced copy

I needed something to make me smile and this definitely did that absolutely loved it. I have not read these authors before but will definitely be looking at their back list. Laughed out loud more than once,
Bea and Nolan where great together and the chemistry was really good, I loved the adult film makers mixed in with sugar sweet holiday romance hilarious.
The narration was fabulous and kept me interested from beging to end, as a plus sized woman myself I liked the representation and felt it was well done. I will definitely read more by these authors a wonderful holiday romance if you love the holidays this is definitely for you. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for an audio copy of this book.

I am one of those people that rarely reads a blurb, I tend to skim it and see if it grabs my attention. I’m also a sucker for a pretty cover so this one seemed right up my street! What I hadn’t expected was the level of sexy, steamy passion that radiated throughout the book! Someone get me a cold shower! Yes I knew this book was about a porn star making her tv debut but I still wasn’t prepared for how erotic the book was and in a good way!

The chemistry was through the roof between Bee and Nolan. With alternating POV I often found myself smiling at how they tried to conceal their early feelings from each other. I also really enjoyed having two narrators, it helped break the book up and keep my interest going. It was inevitable that they would fall for each other and they certainly got themselves into a few tricky situations but I ultimately loved them as a pair.

It was refreshing to see a plus size main character and the subject of fat shaming was not skirted around. It’s time we started embracing more of these realistic characters and bringing them to the forefront of our books. Bianca’s job as a porn star is also not something we see written about in such a positive light. It was interesting to learn more about the industry and how it feels to be one of those workers, including the producer, Teddy.

Overall this was a fun, romantic, steamy read with just the right amount of Christmas to kick off the season. If you’re looking for a Christmas book with a little something extra then this is for you!

This is a spicy little christmas romance. If you don't like to read spice then this isn't for you.. Bee is in the porn business trying to make it as a movie star, and never should have been cast for the movie. Major mix up by the director so is given strict instructions:

1. Don’t get involved with anyone on set.
2. Don’t tell anyone what you do for a living.
3. Definitely don’t get involved with anyone on set.
3b. Seriously.

Nolan is an ex boyband member who is famous for his own x-rated antics & has also been given strict instruction to not mess this movie up if he wants his career to get back on track.. no sex with anyone on set. Period... One issue, he's Bees biggest fan?

I loved that both Bee & Nolan adored each other from the very beginning both idolising each other from a far. I liked the representation of fat phobia within the industry & was glad this wasn't brushed over however hard it was to listen too knowing this still very much exists. 🥺 All in all a lovely little spicy Christmas story to get you in the mood for festive season 👌🏻

Really enjoyed the e-book ARC so wanted to check the audio - haven already developed a voice on my head for the characters, I didn’t feel that the narrators matched. They came off as too deep voiced, older than the characters are described.

My Opinion

I really didn't know what to expect going into this book. Overall this is an entertaining book and I would really like to see a sequel. You can feel the tension in this book. This book is quite literally full of Christmas. With only a few weeks to film a Christmas movie, there was no doubt that this was going to be fast paced. A very different take on a Christmas romance.

Be warned, this book is very steamy.

I really enjoyed this concept. A sex positive, curvy woman gets a leading role In a Christmas movie where she has to hide her identity as a porn star.

This book is truly great! Honestly more books should be more about the journey of sex positivity for women.

A Merry Little Meet Cute is the perfect Christmas read you didn’t know you needed this year! It’s firmly in my top ten books of 2022 and I decided to listen to this on audiobook given that the hero - ex boyband sensation Nolan - is given his voice by none other than one of my very favourite narrators Sebastian Young.

Bee Hobbs has a last minute chance to star alongside Nolan Shaw in a good old, wholesome, family friendly Christmas TV movie. There’s a lot riding on the successful filming of the move, not only for Bee but also for Teddy the producer and Nolan. Nolan’s bad boy image is in desperate need of repair and being a wholesome leading man is his shot at proving the world wrong.

I enjoyed this so much I’m tempted to re-read it already! This is all of the steamy, sexy, raunchy, funny carry on you’d expect from Sierra Simone. I’ve never read anything from Julie Murphy (although I’ve seen Dumplin’) but I’m definitely tempted to download some to add to my TBR!

What a cute book!

Amazing representation of the sex work industry and also the music industry. Harsh portrayals of how women are represented after scandals compared to men that really made me think about this in wider media! Slut and fat shaming is always hard to read but it’s important to include because it is RIFE.

I loved the story, B and Nolan were adorable and I loved that they wanted each other all along (even before they knew each other).

My only niggle was some of the words used during the smut which weren’t for me but other than that I loved it!!

Don’t pick this book up if really sexy is not your thing. Otherwise have a read this is a fun and entertaining rom com story. The narrators in the audio version are perfect for the two main characters. A film set for a family movie, funded by a family network, starring a porn star trying mainstream acting as herself and a former member of a boy band who is now dealing with the ups and downs of a normal life. What could possibly go wrong, and will they come out of the experience better for it? Read the book and see for yourself. Thank you to Harper Collins and NetGalley for the audio ARC.
