Naughty or Nice: A Holiday Regency Anthology.
Naughty or Nice is an anthology of seven Regency Christmas romance
novellas. Prior to picking up this book, I had never heard of any of the authors submitting to this anthology, but decided to take a chance on them based solely on the cover of the book. Isn’t it stunning?!
All stories had a strong Christmas vibe, were sweet in nature, and are all stand-alone reads.
This is a very quick anthology to read, two hours tops, great for anyone looking to fill a break in festivities during the holiday season.
Funny, complex’s, full, entertaining and romantic … even spicy sometimes !!!
I loved this collection of prequels to the craziest and best regency romance I’ve read recently !!!
Some of them were more enemies to lovers, others a bit more friends to lovers and some lovers to enemies to lovers.
The most different characters involved in their own special love stories that have all the same undertone … the magic of Christmas time !!!
I’m very glad I had the chance to read them all and while some of those sequels I was already familiar with, I truly hope that I will have the chance to get to experience them.
I really enjoyed this collection of shorter stories that took place at Christmas. I honestly would buy this just for the Tracey Sumner novella, I have read all of the stories in that series and this one was just as good. Another favorite was the book by Charlie Lane, great characters in that one!
Bree Wolf's: Once Upon an Aggravatingly Heroic Kiss
Once upon a time, our beloved Grandma Edie began her career as the best matchmaker in known history by using her extraordinary talent to bring about her own happily-ever-after...
Determined to perform a Christmas miracle by seeing her friend wed to the man she loves, Edith finds herself distracted from her task by a teasing gentleman with wicked eyes and a devilish smile.
Sydney Jane Baily's: A Diamond for Christmas
In a Regency Romeo and Juliet, heady desire blossoms between a lord and a lady from warring families.
Lord Geoffrey Diamond is the heir to an earldom with dash-fire to spare. There is no lady in London he ought not to be able to woo and win. Except one. Lady Caroline is vexed to learn the only man who makes her tingle is prohibited. Forbidden even to dance with Diamond, she finds herself breaking all the rules in order to follow her heart.
When they take a desperate chance on happiness, will it lead to a Christmas miracle or a Christmas calamity?
Tracy Sumner's: The Governess Gamble
He's a devil of a rake. Can an accidental governess teach him life's most important lesson?
To repair her scandalous reputation, American heiress Franny Shaw flees to London in search of a desperate nobleman with a title for sale. An impulsive decision places her in the path of lonely libertine, Chance Allerton, at Christmastide. Can a make-believe governess teach a wicked viscount a sizzling lesson in love or will it take a holiday miracle?
Fenna Edgewood's: The Countess's Christmas Groom
She is his ideal match. The woman he has been waiting for all of his life. The only problem? He's her servant.
This Christmas, two very unlikely individuals are about to realize they are one another's ideal match. And once mutual desire has been sparked, they will never be parted, no matter the price they must face.
Charlie Lane's: A Very Daring Christmas
Christmas is the most daring time of the year.
Crowded London streets, eccentric shop keeps, violent-minded maids, and chaotic coffeehouses. A daring but reluctant debutant and the steward who adores her will brave it all to find the elusive perfect gift that could win their hearts desires.
Jennifer Monroe's: Gentleman of Christmas Past
A lady determined to find love. A gentleman wanting her hand in marriage. A Christmas story you will never forget.
Miss Agnes Fitzimmons and Mr. Phillip Rutley each have a Christmas wish—to marry one another. Yet with financial burdens threatening to keep them apart, it will take a Christmas miracle to have the happily ever after they deserve.
Meredith Bond's: Christmas Intrigue
Can the joy of Christmas, and a beautiful woman, distract him from his duty?
Is it a recipe for disaster? Not even close. Whether Markgraf Alexander Kottenfurst thinks the spirited Prudence Torrington is naughty or nice will determine if this Christmas intrigue will lead to something wonderful.
This is a collection of sweet romance stories. In this anthology you'll read stories by Bree Wolf, Sydney Jane Baily, Tracy Sumner and more.
This is a great anthology full of sweet romance stories.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley. This in no way affects my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.
Naughty or Nice is an anthology of seven late Georgian/Regency Christmastide romance
novellas by relatively well known authors.
They were full of holiday spirit from sweet stories to naughty cross-class ones, all were unique and
enough variety for every reader of Regency romance to find stories and series they will love.
All were well written and while most are part of ongoing series the authors gave enough information that
I didn't feel lost. And all seem to be brand new stories in their various series.
It was nice to find a couple novellas from series I am reading and a couple new to me series I think I
may look into in the near future. I would definitely recommend this book.
I received this ARC from WOLF Publishing and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review, thank you.

It is really impossible not to enjoy this wonderful, thrilling, captivating, intense, intriguing and romantic collection of holiday regency romances. Sit comfortably, prepare your snacks and get sucked into the world of dukes, earls and ladies. I am suffering from the lack of sleep because I just had to read it at once.
This checked off everything I look for in a book. Was not disappointed. Really enjoyed this book. I will read more from this author. Must read. Historical fiction oh yeah.
I didn't read all of the novellas, I stuck to the author that I have read before and look forward to reading the rest.
I always marvel at Tracy Sumner's ability to pack a punch in a novella. This one was a hit as well. I really liked it!
As someone who thrives in the Christmas/Holiday season, these anthologies were no exception to holiday books I absolutely loved! They were all sweet stories, that were fun and cute and full of the Holiday spirit! Each story has it's own unique characters and plot that there is guaranteed one that every reader will love in it!
There are a great selection of stories from some great authors! Definitely a book I will be revisiting closer to the holiday season to re-read!
Thank you NetGalley for providing an ARC copy of this novel.
Nice collection of holiday novellas from this group of historical romance authors. Some of the stories are continuations of pre-existing series, so it is helpful to have read these authors previously. The anthology was well-organized and easy to navigate between the stories. I appreciated that each one had a summary/blurb before jumping into the novella itself.
