This is the first book by Sean Heary I have ever read. It is rare and extremely exciting to find a new writer with such talent.
This is a spy thriller. It has tropes more closely associated with Ian Fleming and Len Deighton, than John le Carre or Charles Cumming. It is high octane and fast and furious. The characters are quirky. The plot is gripping and the locations are sun drenched. You wouldn't think that the threat of Armageddon could be so much fun - but it certainly is.
More please Mr Heary!
A decent spy thriller with lots of interesting contextual details. Part of a series but can stand alone.
This is a good spy novel involving Americans, cia, britsh spies, Italian spies. I didn’t realize it was the third in a series but it didn’t take away from the action packed story line …lots of killing, being on the run,, smart and intelligent couple. I’d like to read more.
A Lorenzo Rossi yarn about the mysterious death of a Russian agent giving secrets to the west but who killed her is the big question. The body count rises throughout as suspects are removed from the board all told in tongue in cheek style. Very funny at times as the threat of nuclear war approaches and the search for the crucial evidence intensifies all building to a great conclusion at the Vatican. Good fun.
