Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for this arc. The book was informative, interesting, and well written.
If you're looking for a journal to help you connect with nature and the magic of the world around you, then this journal is definitely the right choice for you. This guided journal is perfect for anyone who wants to develop their magical relationship with the world, and it's filled with beautiful illustrations and helpful prompts that will guide you every step of the way. I absolutely loved the dark-toned illustrations by Selcha Uni which added a touch of mystery and calmness to the journal.
Divided by the four seasons, this journal includes reflective meditations and thought-provoking journal prompts for each season that will help you connect with nature, cleanse your spirit, and cultivate a more positive outlook on life. An alternative to the traditional self-care journal, this one is perfect for anyone who wants to incorporate more magic and mindfulness into their daily routine. While it still asks similar reflection questions as other journals, each question follows a blurb that further explores the magical topic and helps set the tone for your journaling.
I absolutely loved this journal and found it to be an incredibly calming and introspective experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to connect with their magic and nature, or just wants a beautiful and well-crafted journal to help them on their self-care journey.
I really enjoyed the illustrations and the questions! I’ll need to get a physical copy asap! I give this book 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it highly!
Find Your Magic is a journal to help you create the magical life of your dreams through intention setting and following your path to joy. The book begins in Spring and starts with a prompt for rebirth, which seems fitting if you're looking to recenter yourself and connect with nature and yourself. Each prompt throughout the journal gets you to think about yourself - things that may be in your way, things that make you happy, etc. Some of the answers come easy and others you have to dig deep and really think about yourself and sometimes about how others perceive you in order to complete the journal entry. The journal ends in winter with a lot of reflection on yourself in the past year, finishing off with your top 5 shining moments of the year and what they say about you.
I think this journal will help you learn a lot about yourself and ground you. Just reading through it and not doing any of the prompts, it really made me think and reflect on myself.
I received a free e-copy of this book from NetGalley in order to write this review. I was not otherwise compensated.
So i found this book at random and my thoughts to this is wow.
not a fan of some of questions but it was still a good book. unsure if id use this book for my writing, i thought i could answer the questions as my character but even some of the questions dont work for them but does give me an idea to what might work for my witch.
not sure who to recommend this book to
not sure id reread this book
4 stars
cover is pretty
was caught by the blurb but i am happy that i gave this book a chance though
This book is Gorgeous! The prompts seem well thought out and there is ample space to write out answers. I also love how there is a nature theme to everything. I think if you are into nature and spirituality this would be a great book to pick up. It stands out to me from other similar books like this I've seen because of the images. The concept has been done numerous times but the images in this book and the formatting of the questions/images really stands out.
I definitely would recommend this to someone looking for a good journal or someone looking to do some introspection.
Oh wow! I loved this! Beautiful illustrations and blurbs, lovely prompts. It definitely helped me take some time to myself and the world around me. I look forward to continuing it's use!
The Find Your Magic Journal is full of prompts and mindful self-care rituals to bring magic to your life and provide guidance when journaling. It is excellent for those like me that want to journal but don’t know what to write. And the beautiful illustrations in this journal are so magical that I don’t need to learn how to draw to keep a beautiful journal page.
This journal is divided into four seasons and is not dated since it is not a planner. This means you can start at any time of the year, and there is also no pressure to make it a daily activity unless this is something you would like.
With questions like: “what would you like to let go off?” or “what aspects of childhood have shaped you into who you are today?” this journal will allow you to dig deep within yourself for spiritual and personal growth.
Thank you Quarto Publishing Book and Netgalley for the arc!
If you’re struggling with journaling, or you want to start, this is the book for you!
It’s full of reflections and deep questions that will make you reflect on yourself.
It’s divided in seasons and it is full of really pretty illustrations!
My favorite prompts:
- Write a letter to the rain tell it how you spend your restful period.
- Describe which areas you can be more patient in. More thoughtful?
(i will need more than two pages for this one ahaha)
As I've mentioned before, I have really gotten into guided journals like this. I mistakenly judged them as books for people who didn't have any imagination. As an adult who spend a lot of their time alone (alone, not lonely), I have fallen in LOVE with guided journals! Find Your Magic by Fortuna Noir was no different. Very enjoyable and a lot of fun!
Absolutely love this concept, at layout, everything about. It’s great for those who struggle to find journal prompts or want to start journaling but don’t know where to start on the Magic Journey.
The illustrations were gorgeous and I loved the information that was sprinkled in for each season, while allowing the reader to fill in the journal themselves. This is definitely a better in print type of book though
An interesting self care journal. I like that is breaks it down by seasons. This might appeal to people that other similar journals haven't
Beautiful Journal
This is a very nice journal. The author provides daily suggestive Information to mediate on and she provides space for you to write your thoughts or list any feelings you may have on the particular day's topic.
It helps you to discover your inner self. I love it.
A great book for a beginner witch to start looking at seasons and parts of the world and feel related. Great art and the writing prompts don't feel patronizing
This journal is lovely! The prompts are tied beautifully to the changing seasons, aligning to different feelings, nature elements and areas to focus on during different times of the year. I’ve saved a few as places to start group meditation practices.
The illustrations that accompany the journaling prompts are so well done and are absolutely gorgeous.
I can’t wait to purchase this when it comes out in print, and use it to journal with throughout the year..
This is a hard book to review as an eARC since it requires writing out answers. I absolutely loved the artwork and the prompts were well thought out and explained.
Definitely a book I recommend as a physical journal and not an ebook.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to review this.
Beautiful illustrations and meaningful prompts and questions to learn about ourselves. Mindfulness at its best
