A humourous picture book with bright, engaging illustrations, all about a demanding monster on a frantic journey to satisfy his thirst that is sure to get young readers laughing. It could also prompt some interesting conversations about the flaws in each of the monsters solutions with groups of children aged 3+

The artwork in the book was really good!

It was a nice simple story, it just didn’t personally work for my daughter or me, it didn’t book either of us, but I can see why it would work for other people!

Another brilliant picture book from Sean Taylor, illustrated by Fred Benaglia. This character-led story has minimal text and huge personality. Monster has a strong voice and the story has the same level of humour as an old-school cartoon. It's very relatable to parents who have small children and little ones themselves will love the unfolding, laugh-out-loud events and toilet jokes, whilst absorbing some important info (like not drinking out of a toilet!) Sean Taylor proves once again that less is more while Fred Benaglia brings monster to life with a bold energy.

I thought that this was an enjoyable book

The story was easy to follow and it was fun to read with my daughter, she thought it was really fun and loved being able to help and join in reading the story as she is now reading on her own, there were a couple of tricky words I helped with but overall a fun story

The illustrations are lovely and really made us smile

It is four stars from me for this one –highly recommended!
